Wales stars must 'want a piece of Lions action'
Farrell named Morgan and Gloucester scrum-half Tomos Williams in his original squad, but the latter was ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury in the opening game in Australia. The Ospreys star was omitted from the first Test, but after entering the fray in the second in Melbourne, played a crucial part in the late drama that sealed the series.''If you weren't captured by the drama of that second Test at the MCG then, quite frankly, you haven't got a soul," said Evans. "That was exactly what a sporting legacy is all about, that's what sport is supposed to do at such an iconic venue as the MCG.'''If I'd have had a lifestyle watch on at the time, 'it'd have probably told me to go to ER very, very quickly. "But we got the result and it was a remarkable performance and again, one of character.''
Goodwill from the players 'important'
While there are no plans to move away from the traditional touring schedule of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Evans says a full review of the past few weeks will take place. The Lions are open to freshening up the tour format to bolster the matches before the Test series, which were largely underwhelming in Australia.''Obviously New Zealand brings different parameters around touring. But the players have had a great time and we'll make sure that's the case because that goodwill from the players, is really important and you've got to keep replenishing that. "You can't rely on it because hubris gets everybody eventually. You can't just assume that this is the norm and everybody is going to love this for eternity. "We'll look, we'll assess, so we can do things differently.''

Newcastle ‘target Champions League winner as transfer alternative if Man Utd win Benjamin Sesko race'
NEWCASTLE UNITED have added PSG star Goncalo Ramos to their list of striker targets, it is reported. The Magpies are prioritising their pursuit of Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko, but view Ramos as a possible alternative should they miss out to Man Utd. 4 4 The Daily Mail report Newcastle could go back in for the Portuguese, who they considered signing from Benfica in 2022. They ended up signing Alexander Isak in that window instead, and Ramos moved to PSG the following summer. Since then he has struggled to fully stake his claim to a spot in the starting line-up, but did contribute to their Champions League -winning campaign last season. He netted three goals in that run, including a 93rd-minute goal to seal their 4-2 victory over Man City in January. In total, Ramos has notched 33 goals in 86 appearances for the French giants. The 24-year-old would have some hefty shoes to fill, being viewed as an alternative to Sesko in Newcastle's bid to support or even replace Isak up front. The Swede cemented himself as one of the best forwards in world football before he announced his intentions to leave the club last month. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS 4 4 He is not the only alternative option either, with the north-east outfit also testing the waters for Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins. Newcastle are still being rivalled for Sesko's signature by Man Utd, with the Red Devils reportedly confident that they are his preferred destination. But that did not stop the Magpies from launching a £70million move for the RB Leipzig man yesterday. Sesko, 22, has scored 39 goals in 87 appearances since arriving in Germany from RB Salzburg two years ago.
