State Police release results of ‘Orange Squeeze'
(WHTM) — The Pennsylvania State Police have released the results of their 'Orange Squeeze' traffic detail in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
It was part of National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and allowed troopers to monitor work zones from construction vehicles to catch violations.
The Troop T Eastern Section conducted 'Orange Squeeze' on Wednesday in their eastern section.
In that, they filed 116 citations and 47 warnings. One person was arrested for DUI with drug possession.

Officials said the initiative is critical, as 176 crashes occurred in active Turnpike work zones last year, resulting in two deaths and 48 injuries.

ATF offers $5,000 reward for tips on firebombing of Lenexa Tesla center
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Kansas City Field Division is offering $5,000 for information related to a firebombing at a Tesla collision center in Lenexa. On April 3 just after 1 a.m., surveillance footage captured a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Interstate 435 near the Tesla Collision center, located at 15125 W. 101st Terrace in Lenexa. The ATF said the suspect got out of their vehicle and threw two lit Molotov cocktails. Investigators believe this was arson. This follows a March Tesla attack where investigators believe Owen McIntire used a Molotov cocktail to damage two trucks at a dealership off State Line Road in Kansas City. Southbound I-35 closed past Armour Road following police chase
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Southbound Interstate 35 past Armour Road is closed Wednesday night following a police chase. Emergency crews responded to a crash in the area around 9:15 p.m. Kansas City police tell FOX4 this was the end of a vehicle pursuit involving a fresh aggravated assault investigation. KCPD said officers have multiple people in custody and are working to determine if any are outstanding at this time. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said they are assisting KCPD with the incident. Jackson Co. Legislator Abarca charged in Missouri, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jackson County Legislator Manuel 'Manny' Abarca IV is facing charges on both sides of the state line. He has been charged in Jackson County Municipal Court with violating a protection order and domestic battery in Johnson County, Kansas. His wife, Alexis Garcia Abarca, reported Manny Abarca and their 2-year-old son missing over the weekend, stating that she last saw her son on the evening of Wednesday, May 28, and last saw Manny on Thursday, May 29. As of Tuesday evening, she said her son still hasn't been located. Jackson Co. Legislator Abarca served protection order before reported missing 'At this time I still don't have my son,' she said in a Facebook post Tuesday. 'My top priority at this time continues to be locating and getting Luca back.' Manny appeared virtually for a county legislature meeting Monday afternoon. FOX4 emailed him and his office for comment but has not heard back. According to online court records, the protection order was issued by a Jackson County Circuit Court judge on May 30. As part of it, Manny was ordered to have no contact with his wife, and his wife was awarded custody of their child. He was booked into the Johnson County, Kansas jail at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday and was released after posting a $1,500 bond.
