The owners of a dog that bit a boy and his mother as she tried to help him in a park is being sought by police.Dorset Police said the boy, who suffered an injury to the back of his knee, and his mother were checked in hospital following the attacks in Poole Park last Thursday at about 16:30 BST.The dog, described as a large black Alsatian with a tan front, also bit the dog they were walking.The force said officers were keen to speak to a man with long black hair wearing a white or beige T-shirt and dark trousers and a blonde woman in a blue dress who were walking the dog.
The force said the pair were also walking a second dog, described as a beige Chihuahua.PC Heather Anderson, of Poole police, said: "I would also urge the man and woman involved to please do the right thing and get in touch with us so we can take your account of what happened."Witnesses and anyone with information are also being urged to come forward.Dogs are allowed in the park off Parkstone Road, except within the fenced play areas.

Wildlife rescue teams discovered a scene of horror after a trapped deer was brutally mauled by dogs near an Aberdeen park. The young animal was chased into the fence and became stuck before it was savaged by the two off-the-lead dogs. It was still alive when staff from New Arc Wildlife Rescue arrived to offer aid but they were dismayed to discover the severity of its injuries. The wounds were so serious that they confirmed the deer had to be euthanised at the scene. The animal was found injured in a small grass park area at Erroll Place, near King Street, at around 7.30pm on Sunday. It is reported that the injuries were caused by an Alsatian-type dog and another smaller breed which chased the deer. Following the attack, Aberdeen dog owners are being urged to keep their pets on a lead. A New Arc Wildlife Rescue spokesperson said: 'Our advice is the same as the British Deer Society. 'Please keep your dogs on leads, especially when in parks or wild areas. 'Most of the time when we attend these types of scenes, if the dog owner is there they state that their dog has never done anything like it before.' Deer birthing season peaks between May and July, so it is more likely dog walkers will encounter pregnant and new-born deer during these months. A man has been charged with conspiracy to commit kidnap after two men were injured in a crash involving an e-bike and a happened near the Cherford Road junction of Kinson Road, Bournemouth, on Thursday at about 13:10 BST. The car, a blue Mercedes, failed to stop at the two injured men - in their 20s - were both believed to have been on the e-bike when the crash happened and remain in hospital. One suffered life-changing injuries while the other was less seriously hurt. The charged man, who is 24 and from the town, has also been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving and possession of a bladed article. He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates' Court. A 17-year-old boy and a 36-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, along with a 37-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, all from Bournemouth, have been released on police bail.A 48-year-old man from Bournemouth arrested on suspicion of intentionally encouraging or assisting the commission of an indictable only offence has been released on police bail pending further force wants to hear from drivers with dashcam footage and residents with doorbell or CCTV footage to come forward.
