Penn Badgley clarifies son's name after years of confusion
Penn Badgley recently set the record straight about his 4-year-old son's name after years of confusion on Wikipedia.
The actor, best known for his role in You, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, where he revealed that his son's name is not James, despite what the popular online encyclopedia has claimed for years.
Badgley, 38, explained that the name "James" had been incorrectly listed on Wikipedia, and despite multiple attempts to correct it, the error would persist. 'We'd get it removed, and it would go back,' he said, emphasizing that his son's name is not James. Badgley admitted feeling awkward addressing the issue but decided to use his platform to clear up the confusion.
He shared that the mix-up had even affected his personal life, as friends and family would mistakenly address his son as James, often consulting Google for confirmation. "There are people who are close to the family who haven't seen us in a while, they send us a card and it says, 'To all of us and James,'" he explained.
While Badgley didn't reveal his son's real name for privacy reasons, he teased that it is "a good name." He also spoke about his growing family, including his wife, Domino Kirke, and their exciting news that they are expecting twin boys this summer. The couple, married in 2017, also shares Kirke's 16-year-old son, Cassius. Badgley expressed his joy about the twins' arrival and his 4-year-old's excitement about becoming a big brother.
Another highlight of the show was jimmy bringing up Penn's hilarious fan-girling over Ariana Grande's 'Shut Up'.

Miley Cyrus reveals why she took relaxed approach to promoting ‘Endless Summer Vacation'
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Miley Cyrus explained her unconventional strategy for promoting her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation. Rather than following traditional marketing methods, she opted for a relaxed approach that aligned with the album's laid-back theme. 'I cleverly titled my last album Endless Summer Vacation so then I could be on vacation and that could be part of my aesthetic,' Cyrus told host Jimmy Fallon. 'So all I had to do was take pictures of me in a bathing suit and be like, 'ESV!' and that was the promo.' Miley Cyrus talking about her fans commenting that she wasn't promoting her last album 😭 'I just cleverly titled my last album Endless Summer Vacation so then I could be on vacation and it would look like that was a part of my aesthetic.' — Miley Edition (@MileyEdition) June 5, 2025 She added that some fans were confused by the lack of traditional marketing efforts. 'All my fans were like, 'You're not promoting this album!' I was like, 'I'm making the next one, people!'' Despite the low-key rollout, Endless Summer Vacation became one of Cyrus's most well-received projects. The album featured the Grammy-winning hit 'Flowers' and was accompanied by a Disney+ special, Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions), showcasing her performances in an intimate setting. Now moving on from the ESV era, Cyrus has launched her latest project, Something Beautiful, released on May 30. The album marks her first visual LP and has already earned critical acclaim. Industry forecasts predict a strong debut on the charts, with Something Beautiful expected to land at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. If it does, it will become her highest-charting album since 2020's Plastic Hearts.

The time when Dawson's Creek reboot almost happened, creator Kevin Williamson reveals
A Dawson's Creek revival with the original cast almost came to fruition, according to series creator Kevin Williamson. In an exclusive interview with TV Insider, Williamson shared that, despite the show's 2003 finale providing a sense of closure, there were discussions about revisiting the iconic teen drama during the peak of the reboot craze following the COVID-19 pandemic. The beloved series, which followed the lives of Joey (Katie Holmes), Pacey (Joshua Jackson), Dawson (James Van Der Beek), and their friends in the fictional town of Capeside, had concluded its five-season run with emotional farewells, including the death of Jen (Michelle Williams). However, the idea of a revival sparked interest from both the cast and the creator, with Williamson admitting that they were repeatedly approached during the height of reunion and reboot trends. 'James [Van Der Beek] wanted to do it, but then Josh [Jackson] was busy. Katie [Holmes] was on board, but then James wasn't available. No one could align their schedules,' Williamson explained, noting that while the cast was enthusiastic about the concept, timing proved to be a major hurdle. Ultimately, the team reflected on the show's legacy and concluded that revisiting Dawson's Creek in its original form might not be the best direction. 'We kind of just went, 'We did it and it was good,'' Williamson said. 'We felt like maybe it could live again in another way, but not as a reboot.' While they considered possibilities, such as focusing on the next generation of characters, the revival ultimately did not move forward. Despite the scheduling conflicts, Williamson remains busy with multiple projects, including directing Scream 7 and debuting his new series, The Waterfront. As for the original cast, Holmes, Jackson, and Van Der Beek are all involved in separate projects, with their individual careers keeping them occupied.
