Is New Zealand vs France on TV? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch All Blacks

Yahoo18-07-2025
New Zealand take on France looking to seal a 3-0 series sweep in Hamilton.
With the visitors understrength having been unable to select most of their Six Nations-winning stars, the All Blacks had been anticipated to win on home soil but were still given a real scare in the opening encounter in Dunedin.
A much improved first-half showing last weekend in Wellington ensured that New Zealand were comfortable winners, though a few stumbles after the interval will leave Scott Robertson still seeking an 80-minute performance from his team.
Can France pounce on any complacency to secure a significant result in this third and final fixture?
Here's everything you need to know.
When is New Zealand vs France?

How can I watch it?

Team news
All Blacks boss Scott Robertson rotates in places as he freshens up his squad for the third Test. A shuffle of playmakers sees Damian McKenzie stationed at full-back with youngster Ruben Love given an opportunity at full-back, while fit-again wing Sevu Reece is also included in the starting back three. Quinn Tupaea and Anton Lienert-Brown form a new-look centre partnership. Rieko Ioane is a late scratch with a tight hamstring; Will Jordan steps into the starting side and Jordie Barrett on to the bench.
Up front, Samipeni Finau and Luke Jacobson join Ardie Savea in the back row, with the openside flanker continuing to captain in the absence of Scott Barrett. Replacement hooker Brodie McAlister is primed for a debut off the bench.
Gael Fickou returns to skipper the France side from the centres, with he and tighthead prop Rabah Slimani injecting significant experience after Fabien Galthie fielded a particularly callow unit in the second Test. Joshua Brennan moves a row backwards from lock to flanker to join the equally versatile Mickael Guillard, again stationed at No 8, while Antoine Hastoy re-takes the reins at fly half. Gabin Villiere gets a start ahead of Emilien Gailleton on the wing

Report – Italy Megastar Prioritizes New PSG Contract Amid Inter Milan Interest

Inter Milan target Gianluigi Donnarumma could soon open contract extension talks with treble winners PSG. According to Calciomercato, Les Parisiens are keen to tie the star goalkeeper down to a new long-term deal. Gianluigi Donnarumma has emerged as a potential goalkeeping target for Inter Milan. Furthermore, his current contract at the Parc des Princes expires in less than 12 months. It means he would be able to join the Nerazzurri on a free transfer next summer. Moreover, the former AC Milan stalwart has made a new contract in Paris his top priority. Meanwhile, Inter will continue to keep close tabs on the situation. Indeed, the Serie A runners-up are preparing for life after Yann Sommer. The Swiss veteran may stay at San Siro next season despite Galatasaray's interest. However, he will leave in 2026 when his contract runs out. While Inter signed Josep Martinez from Genoa last summer, they remain in the market for a more high-profile keeper.

Leon Marchand Takes Down 14-Year-Old Record At The 200 IM Semi-Finals

Why wait for the finals when you can bring the best of the action during the semis? On the fourth night of the World Aquatics championships, Leon Marchand qualified for the 200 IM finals in 1:52.69. Taking down a 14-year-old world record set by America's Ryan Lochte. Marchand has now ticked off one of the biggest goals from his list, even exceeding his expectations. The record of 1:54.00 set at the 2011 Worlds, after a duel between Michael Phelps and Lochte, was the first long-course world record since the banning of full-body polyurethane suits. Since then, swimmers have tried to crack 1:53 for more than a decade. Now, Marchand's performance has registered the 200 IM times in an elite category. The 23-year-old Frenchman swam under the world record pace throughout the race in Singapore and knocked off the record by 1.31 seconds to achieve 1:52. "I'm going to try to sleep well tonight," an ecstatic Marchand said during the post-race interview. "It's going to be tough tomorrow, but the final is going to be cool. I'm going to try to understand what I've just done. It may take a few months, and after I'll look at what's next." At the Paris Olympics, Marchand claimed the gold in the 200 IM, "falling six-hundredths short" of lowering the record. The swimmer then decided to take a brief hiatus from the pool and returned to participate in the fall at World Cup meets, where he ultimately broke Lochte's 12-year-old short-course world record in the 200 IM in 1:48.88. He then suffered multiple injuries and returned to compete in May 2025. Marchand is now going for his third 200 IM individual world title in Singapore. Notably, Marchand had his eyes set on taking down the 200 IM from the start of the season. He changed his schedule, dropping the 200 breaststroke and 200 butterfly events, and focused solely on medley events at the 2025 Worlds. These choices ultimately turned out to be "right" for the four-time Olympic gold medalist, as he not only managed to break one of the last-standing historic American records but also obliterate it in the process. The splits: Marchand also faced tough competition from both sides. America's Shaine Casas, with the fastest start in 23.88, managed to touch the wall with a new personal best time of 1:55.13. He is now the third-fastest American in the event, trailing behind Lochte and Phelps. The 200 IM silver Olympic medalist, Duncan Scott, representing Great Britain, was a few seconds short of his best time and claimed the bronze in 1:55.51. Now, Leon Marchand will enter as the clear favourite for the 200 IM finals tomorrow. The swimmer is also expected to bring his best on the last day of the meet and push his 400 IM world record set in Fukuoka in 2023.

Henry grabs six wickets as New Zealand shatter Zimbabwe

Fast bowler Matt Henry has finished with figures of 6-39 as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 149 in their first Test match against New Zealand in almost nine years. Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine, who won the toss, wanted his top-order batters to put runs on the board but instead the home team were dismissed inside two-and-a-half sessions on the opening day for their second-lowest innings total this year. New Zealand were 0-92 when stumps were drawn in Bulawayo, with Devon Conway unbeaten on 51 after completing his 12th Test half century and Will Young also looking solid on 41 not out. The return of Brian Bennett, Ben Curran and Sikandar Raza in the longer format of the game did not help against the incisive bowling of Henry as he consistently challenged the batters with his intriguing line and lengths. Matt Henry 6-39 v Zimbabwe 🇿🇼Scorecard | #ZIMvNZ #CricketNation📷 = Zimbabwe Cricket — BLACKCAPS (@BLACKCAPS) July 30, 2025 New Zealand's sharp fielding saw them lifting the tri-series trophy last week in Harare when Henry bowled a terrific last over and gave away only three runs with South Africa in sight of victory. But on Wednesday New Zealand missed two catching opportunities when top scorer Ervine (39) and Tafadzwa Tsiga (30) both got dropped early in their innings. Despite getting second chances, both batters struggled during the 54-run partnership against the immaculate Henry and Nathan Smith (3-20), with third seamer Will O'Rourke also going for just two runs an over in his 13 overs. Mitchell Santner, captaining the Black Caps for the first time in the absence of injured Tom Latham, hoped his three fast bowlers would get the most out of a soft pitch after he lost the toss and was asked to field first. And Henry didn't disappoint. He got the outside edges of Bennett (6) and Curran (13) during his impressive opening spell of seven overs. He then found the outside edge of Nick Welch (27) at the stroke of lunch to leave Zimbabwe rocking at 4-67. Smith had reduced Zimbabwe to 3-31 when in-form Sean Williams (2) chopped a short ball back onto his stumps. Raza lasted for only two runs in his return to the longer format as he fell soon after lunch when he tried to fend Henry's sharp short ball and lobbed an easy catch to wicketkeeper Tom Blundell. Henry polished off the tail quickly as Santner pounced on a diving catch and held on to a leading edge of Blessing Muzarabbani after Newman Nyamhuri had been caught by Young.
