
SSC to reopen OTR correction window on June 19, move following requests of candidates; check notice
The deadline to make corrections/modifications is June 30, 2025.
As per the official notice, the move has been taken following multiple requests of candidates regarding their inability to modify the OTR details specifically related to Other Backward Class/Economically Weaker Sections category status and educational qualifications.

The commission also stated that 'the permission to edit OTR entries is meant to be for genuine purpose only and if it is done without proper justification, such acts shall be seen as suspicious activity and as an attempt to mislead the Commission by a candidate, which shall be held against him/her.'

The commissions is accepting applications for various exams such as SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination,2025, Combined Hindi Translators Examination,2025, and Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination,2025.

First zero-waste tribal festival of Himachal to set sustainability benchmark in Keylong
CHANDIGARH: The first-ever Zero Waste Tribal Festival of Himachal Pradesh will be held from August 14 to 16 at Keylong. This landmark event will not only celebrate the vibrant tribal heritage of the region but also set a new benchmark for environmentally responsible festivities in the state. Deputy Commissioner of Lahaul-Spiti Kiran Bhadana said that the 'Zero Waste' vision of the tribal festival will be brought to life through various initiatives, including a complete ban on plastic bottles and disposable cutlery; drinking water availability at multiple stations with regular water quality checks for safe and sustainable hydration; use of pattal (leaf plates) and biodegradable cutlery to ensure eco-friendly servings; banners made of sustainable materials like cloth bags and cloth-based banners replacing plastic; and clearly marked bins for waste segregation at multiple points for different waste types. Bhadana said that the Tribal Festival-2025 is not just a cultural celebration, but also a statement of commitment to sustainability and heritage preservation. 'As Himachal's first Zero Waste Tribal Fair, it will inspire communities across the state to celebrate responsibly while honouring our rich traditions,' he added. The Lahaul and Spiti district administration has partnered with the Healing Himalayas and Saahas NGOs for waste management, sustainability awareness and hands-on education on eco-friendly practices.

Mega DSC-2025 results declared
The Department of School Education (DSE), Andhra Pradesh, on Tuesday (August 12, 2025) declared the Mega DSC-2025 results. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment exam can now check their qualifying status on the department's official website by logging in with their credentials. The Mega DSC exam was held to recruit 16,347 teachers across the State. According to the department officials, 3,36,307 candidates registered for the exam and 92.90% attended the test, which was conducted between June 6 and July 2, 2025. In a statement, DSC-2025 convenor M.V. Krishna Reddy said that candidates can access the final results and scorecards on the official website. Regarding Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) details, if any discrepancies are found, candidates are given the facility to verify and correct their TET details by entering their hall ticket number on the relevant website. This facility will be available only till August 13, 2025, Mr. Reddy said.
