Amanda Holden brands herself 'new Kris Jenner' as daughters' career move revealed
Amanda Holden admitted to feeling like she is the UK's answer to Kris Jenner after both her daughter's landed jobs walking the catwalk at London Fashion Week. The popular TV and Radio presenter joked about her prowess as a 'momager' after confirming that Lexi, 19, who is signed to Storm Model Management will be joined at the lavish fashion bash by her younger sister Hollie, 13.
Amanda, 54, is proud to admit that both of her daughters are already following in her showbiz footsteps. Speaking about their blossoming modelling careers as nepo babies she said, "Lexi's good, she's sort of dipped her toe in and she's done a couple of photoshoots.
"She is loving university as well but what she doesn't like doing is taking time off, so I think she'll work it out but it's something she's enjoying. She's doing London Fashion Week again in September and we've actually just heard that Hollie is going to be doing it as well."
Amanda continued to the Daily Mail, "It's definitely something I think Hollie is going to enjoy she's going to die when I tell her she's doing London Fashion Week this year. I literally just heard she got it and she's gone for the week with my mum in Cornwall so I'll have to ring her after."
She then joked about her role in their success emulating Kris's role as manager of her hugely successful daughters adding, "With both girls doing it, I do feel like Kris Jenner now. We need our own reality show. Oh my god, yeah here we go, I could see that."
However, while Amanda may have hopes of a family reality TV show, it seems that not everyone would be happy to take part.
While they have the celebrity friends to make it interesting - including Simon Cowell's son Eric and Alesha Dixon's daughter Azura - Amanda admits that Amanda's Lexi "wouldn't want to be on camera."
She shared, "But one of my daughters would do [a TV show] but Lexi wouldn't want to be on camera, that's irony, whereas Hollie would, definitely."
She also confirmed that Hollie loves TV so much she enjoys coming to work with her when she is filming Britain's Got Talent, where they "put her to work" as a runner and causes "mayhem" with Simon's son Eric.
Amanda said, "She loves coming with me to Britain's Got Talent, she makes Simon his ginger tea, she likes to be a little runner, so when she comes, they put her to work.
"She likes the crew hoodie, the snacks, she delivers snacks to the desk, goes around with Eric, creating absolute mayhem behind the scenes, god knows what they get up to anyway.
"She doesn't watch any of the show though, although she did when she decided to press the golden buzzer anyway. She didn't get a slap on the wrist because Eric was with her, so that's all good."

Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen flooded with support as star shares 'heartbreaking' news
Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has taken to social media to share the news that she had been left 'cross' and 'angry' Our Yorkshire Farm viewers were left devastated after Amanda Owen delivered some heartbreaking news from the farm. The mother-of-nine turned to Instagram on Sunday to post a clip she confessed she wouldn't normally share. Alongside the footage, Amanda penned: "Cross, cross, cross. This is not the normal kind of post I do. Not the kind of post that I want to do. "I know that it will not make any difference whatsoever, but still I hope that someone, somewhere might feel a little uncomfortable or even ashamed. "These places are invaluable, a part of our history and heritage, they do not formally belong to anyone but have been used by for centuries by shepherds, farmers and commoners. They are still in use to this day," reports the Manchester Evening News. The Our Yorkshire Farm celebrity also went on a furious tirade, revealing to her supporters what had left her so livid. In the clip, she started: "This is not my kind of thing that I would normally be reckoning to put on social media. But this has incensed and angered me so enormously. "No, not a gap in the wall that happens, and that can be remedied. I'm talking about this." As the farmer gestured to the problem, she went on: "You might ask yourself, 'What has happened there?' I'll tell you what has happened there. "At some point in the last couple of days, probably in the middle of the night, somebody has come to these pens on the border between Cumbria and Yorkshire, and they have come into these beautiful pens that have been stood here for centuries. "And they have dug up and taken the flags out of the floor. Can you imagine, this floor has stood the test of time. It has been here for hundreds of years. "This isn't a place that isn't used. This is a place that has got history. Look. See the beautiful cobbles, see how this is maintained and looked after. This is a little building where the shepherds and farmers in our area actually bring our sheep, when we've gathered them in and actually work in them and put strays in here." Amanda continued: "But at some point over the last couple of days, somebody has taken it upon themselves to desecrate it, whether they had a job for these flags or whether they just got them because they thought nobody was using this place. "I think that absolutely stinks, it's our heritage, it's an ancient, ancient place, and I don't see that there's any need to do that kind of thing." Amanda's supporters were devastated and furious, and countless people flocked to the comments to voice their outrage. One person fumed: "People just don't care anymore, they think they are entitled to do and take whatever they want. It really boils my blood!". Another commented: "Heartbreaking Amanda. Same thing happened to my husband at the shop we owned in Bradford. Low life thieves came during the night and stripped the back yard of the Yorkshire stone flags, they fetch a good price so that's why they do it." A third person raged: "Disgusting! This is the sign of the times here in the UK! total breakdown of law and order!" Another person exclaimed: "That is just horrific! I will never understand how people could do something like that!" "That's sad and disgusting in equal measure," another concurred.

Fun House's Pat Sharp's life now after getting the sack from one joke
Pat Sharp, best known as being the host of the 90s children's show Fun House was dramatically axed from his radio show after making a crude joke to a woman live on stage Radio DJ and Fun House host Pat Sharp was axed from his radio show after making a 'humiliating' joke that saw him lose his job. The TV legend, best known for being the face of the 90's childrens show fun house, presented his segment on Greatest Hits Radio from 2019. However the 63-year-old had made a joke to a woman live on stage at an awards show where he reportedly jibed about 'getting on your t**ts' and handed her a T-shirt with his face on it, according to Daily Mail. The T-shirt had an old photo of Pat with his classic mullet hairdo and the caption: 'Pat Sharp - AS SEEN ON FUN HOUSE - LOOKING SHARP SINCE 1982'. But the joke backfired after she took to social media afterwards in 2023, and said she fel "violated" in front of around 400 colleagues and friends. She noted: 'I was in complete shock and hadn't really processed what happened. Today I am struggling with it - I feel sad, dirty and, frankly, violated." This led to the radio DJ being dramatically taken off air as Greatest Hits Radio announced that his contract was due to expire at the end of the month and they had made the decision not to renew. They added that he would not return to the show with 'immediate effect'. A spokesperson for Bauer, which owns Greatest Hits Radio, said: "Due to the introduction of new weekend programming, a decision had already been made not to renew Pat's contract which comes to an end later this month. However with this issue now having been brought to our attention, we have agreed with Pat that he will not return to the station with immediate effect." In a statement issued to The Sun, Pat said: "I made a joke on stage which was not well received. I upset one individual in particular and for that I am truly sorry. I apologised at the event to anyone who was offended and I have apologised to the individual personally too." Other than Greatest Hits, Pat has previously hosted programmes on Radio 1, Capital FM, Smooth Radio and Heart, as well as presented some episodes of music TV show Top Of The Pops in the 1980s. Since the incident, Pat has stayed under the radar but has been keeping fans updated with his life on Instagram. He posts snapshots of him with his grandchildren and some throwback pictures of him in his heyday. In one Instagram video, the grandad shared dozens of images of his grandchildren having fun in the pool, playing games and roaming the park in a post captioned 'Grandkids galore'. When he wasn't spending time with the grandkids, Pat appeared to be taking some time away at Windermere in the Lake District in July and enjoying trips to the beach in Watergate Bay in Cornwall with his wife Monica. Earlier this month Pat was advertising an 80s tribute gig Ultimate 80's Reloaded in Torquay with himself alongside another DJ Max Corderoy. Sharing tickets to book on his Facebook page, the event described itself as "non-stop nostalgia" with "a pulsating mix of 80's hits". Earlier this year, Pat took part in a handful of other gigs - including Music in the Park in Leyland, Lancashire, in May, and at Butlin's Big Weekenders and Lets Rock Leeds retro festival, both in May. An earlier version of this story was published in September 2023.
