MNPD: Man who fled from officers twice found with drugs, loaded gun
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man accused of fleeing from officers twice just hours apart is now facing a slew of charges after he was found in possession of drugs and a loaded gun.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), detectives attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Tesla Tuesday night along Haywood Lane at Apache Trail. Instead of stopping for authorities, officials said the Tesla fled from the stop.

On Wednesday morning, law enforcement reportedly spotted the Tesla again and attempted to perform another stop. The Tesla fled at a high rate of speed and was disabled by detectives on Century Farms Boulevard.
The driver — identified as 23-year-old Christopher Watson— got out of the driver's seat and ran away, but was quickly taken into custody.
According to detectives, Watson was found in possession of a large bag of narcotics, which included 25 grams of crack cocaine, 23 grams of methamphetamine, nine grams of powder fentanyl, 120 fentanyl pills, Xanax and marijuana.
In addition to the drugs, police said they also found a loaded gun and more than $2,300 in cash in Watson's jacket.
The 23-year-old was reportedly convicted of selling fentanyl in 2023. For this incident, he was charged with five counts of drug possession, three counts of evading arrest, being a felon in possession of a weapon, felony weapon possession, drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Booking records show he is being held in Metro Jail on a $137,000 bond.

Mass. man sentenced to prison for trafficking counterfeit Adderall containing methamphetamine
BOSTON (WWLP) – A Lowell man was sentenced to prison last Wednesday for possession and distribution of counterfeit Adderall pills containing methamphetamine. Charging documents stated that 39-year-old Brian Gingras of Lowell was a drug supplier involved in the Asian Boyz Gang distribution network. Investigators found that between May 2022 and September 2022, Gingras delivered over 5,000 counterfeit Adderall pills to ABZ gang member Bill Phim. Mass. man arrested following deadly crash in November During this time, Phim reportedly then sold the counterfeit pills to an undercover federal agent for over $18,000. The pills were discovered through chemical testing to contain a dangerously high level of methamphetamine and caffeine. For his role in the conspiracy, Phim was sentenced in May 2025 to ten years in prison. Law enforcement obtained a search warrant for Gingras' home, where they found hundreds more counterfeit Adderall pills, counterfeit Xanax pills, and a pill press. Officers also found a storage unit containing a loaded firearm, over 30 kilograms of counterfeit Adderall pills containing only caffeine, bags of marijuana, and boxes of THC extract and edible products. In January 2025, Gingras pleaded guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Distribute and to Possess with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or more of Methamphetamine, and one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or more of Methamphetamine. Gingras was sentenced on June 4 to nine years in prison, followed by four years of supervised release. 1 dead after pedestrian crash in Lewisburg, police say
LEWISBURG, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway following a deadly collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Lewisburg Friday, according to authorities. The Lewisburg Police Department posted about the incident shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 6, saying it took place along Highway 50 near the 7-Eleven. Motorists were urged to avoid the area while first responders and investigators worked the scene.
