Sana'a – Saba: Mayor of the Capital Dr. Hamoud Ubad has launched a comprehensive cleaning campaign evening across Sana'a's districts in preparation for Eid al-Adha. The initiative aims to remove stalls, unsightly displays, and waste from streets and markets, improve the capital's appearance, and regulate traffic. The campaign, which began in key areas like Bab al-Yemen and various central markets, involved the Capital Sana'a, Cleanliness Fund, Public Works Office, and security directorates. Over 3,500 workers and 500 vehicles/equipment were deployed according to a detailed action plan. Mayor Ubad confirmed the widespread cleaning efforts on Eid eve, commending the participants' cooperation. He emphasized the need for continued stability in markets and strict supervision to prevent re-littering during the Eid holidays.
