Palestinian patients praise UAE's assistance, send Eid greetings to its leadership
During a visit to the UAE field hospital in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, families of patients and the wounded extended their heartfelt congratulations and warmest greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
They wished President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed continued health and well-being for his ongoing humanitarian support.
They also expressed their deep gratitude to the government and people of the UAE, praising the nation's noble stance in supporting the Palestinian people, particularly through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which has played a vital role in providing medical and humanitarian assistance to the wounded and sick in Gaza.
Patients and their families also extended Eid greetings to the medical team and the UAE mission working at the field hospital, expressing their sincere appreciation for the exceptional efforts being made to deliver healthcare and treatment.
They also noted that the hospital has become a beacon of hope for many amid the severe conditions in the Strip.
Ashraf Juma'a, member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, also conveyed his Eid Al Fitr greetings to His Highness the UAE President, the government, the people of the UAE, and the medical team at the UAE field hospital.
The UAE field hospital in Rafah continues to provide comprehensive medical services, reaffirming the UAE's commitment to its humanitarian approach and its unwavering dedication to supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering during these challenging times.

MBRGI completes major anti-malnutrition projects in Africa
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), through its 1 Billion Meals campaign, has successfully completed a series of impactful projects to combat malnutrition in Niger, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Senegal. UNITLIFE Chairman, Philippe Douste-Blazy, praised the partnership, calling it vital in building lasting resilience and improving lives in hunger-stricken regions. Launched in 2022 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the 1 Billion Meals campaign has provided food aid across 50 countries and continues to support sustainable solutions to hunger worldwide. MBRGI implements charitable and humanitarian programs across five key areas: Humanitarian Aid & Relief, Healthcare & Disease Control, Spreading Education & Knowledge, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Empowering Communities. Launched in 2019, UNITLIFE, a UN trust fund, combats chronic malnutrition globally through a multi-disciplinary approach. It explores innovative funding opportunities to address gaps in global health and food systems, including investing in scalable, sustainable agricultural projects and programmes empowering women to address malnutrition within their communities.

UAE provided Dhs4.18 billion of aid to support Palestinians since 2010
The UAE has provided aid exceeding Dhs4.18 billion to Palestinian brothers and sisters since 2010. Since the beginning of the war on Gaza in October 2023, the UAE, through its implementation of the "Gallant Knight 3" humanitarian operation, has been the country most supportive of the people of the Gaza Strip, accounting for 42% of total international aid. This aid amounted to more than Dhs3 billion, through 53 airdrops, during which the UAE successfully delivered 3,700 tonnes of aid. The UAE also provided more than 750 tons of medical supplies, while 640,000 children received polio vaccines. The UAE field hospital has treated more than 51,000 cases since its opening, and the UAE floating hospital has provided approximately 9,500 medical services since its inauguration. Operation "Gallant Knight 3" continues to support food banks, primitive bakeries, and water well-drilling projects throughout Gaza. On the other hand, 13 Palestinians were martyred and more than 200 others were injured on Thursday by Israeli forces near the aid centre near the Netzarim checkpoint in the central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. Over the past days, the Israeli forces have targeted aid distribution points over both in Rafah and the central Gaza Strip, resulting in dozens of killings and injuries. Since 27th May, a total of 224 Palestinians have been killed and at least 1,858 wounded at aid distribution points across the territory, according to health officials.
