The Eagles-related portion of the draft is over after Howie Roseman added versatility and firepower on both sides of the football. Philadelphia always takes an urgent look at the undrafted free agent pool of prospects, and 2025 will be no different.
Reed Blankenship is the latest undrafted player to succeed, and this draft class offers a ton of potential that wasn't selected. Gabe Hall is among the players we predicted would land in Eagles training camp.
With the seventh round coming to a close, here are ten potential undrafted prospects the Philadelphia Eagles could look to sign.
Luke Lachey, TE, Iowa
A native of Ohio, Lachey enjoyed a 'breakout' season as a redshirt sophomore in 2022 when he recorded 28 receptions for 398 yards and four touchdowns. The following season, Lachey suffered a season-ending injury after three games. In the full two games he played that season, Lachey recorded 10 receptions for 131 yards. This past season, Lachey recorded 28 receptions for 231 yards.
Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami
His pro day performance, which included 40-yard dash times in the 4.8-5.1 range, raised some concerns about his draft stock, although he still possesses elite skills as a slot receiver. Roseman and 31 other GMs will have to weigh his slow 40-yard dash time against his production from last season, when he hauled in 69 receptions for 1,127 yards (16.3 yards per catch average). Restrepo lacks deep speed, but could have a Cooper Kupp-like impact in the slot, and he's elusive in the open field and hard to bring down.
Restrepo was a consensus All-American in 2024 when he rewrote the Hurricanes' record books. He finished his career with 200 catches for 2,844 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Jared Ivey, DE, Ole Miss
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Ivey totaled 125 tackles, five pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and 16 sacks in three seasons with the Rebels.
Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas
What he lacks in size, Bryant more than makes up for with his aggressive play on the outside at the cornerback position.
Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon
Johnson uses his speed to stack cornerbacks out of press or overtake off-man coverage.
Logan Brown, OL, Kansas
The 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle spent four seasons at Wisconsin from 2019-2022. After redshirting his freshman season, he appeared in 26 games, including three starts, for the Badgers before entering the transfer portal in November 2022. Brown logged 13 total appearances at Kansas over two years before deciding to go pro.
LeQuint Allen, RB, Syracuse
Allen is a Millville, New Jersey, native. The versatile running back posted 2,085 rushing yards and 30 total touchdowns over his final two seasons at Syracuse.
Joshua Gray, OL, Oregon State
Last season, Gray p;ayed in and started all 12 games and ended his career with an Oregon State-record 56 career games
Jah Joyner, Edge, Minnesota
Ricky White, WR, UNLV
White has been one of the top receivers in the nation over the past two seasons at UNLV after transferring from Michigan State. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder had a dominant 2023, earning All-American honors with an 80-catch, 1,314-yard, seven-touchdown season. White followed it up by recording 79 receptions for 1,014 yards and 11 scores in 2024.
Kaimon Rucker, Edge Rusher, UNC
Connor Colby, OL, Iowa
Donovan Edwards, RB, Michigan
Marcus Yarns, RB, Delaware
Alijah Huzzie, Slot CB, UNC
A potential contributor at the slot cornerback spot, Huzzie is aggressive and stays around the football despite lacking elite size (5-9 1/4, 194). Huzzie earned an honorable mention in All-ACC honors with the Tar Heels after transferring from East Tennessee State.
Traeshon Holden, WR, Oregon
Holden declared for the NFL Draft after spending two seasons at Oregon under coach Dan Lanning. Holden has 19 career touchdowns and played the first two seasons of his collegiate career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, where he posted 46 catches for 570 yards and seven touchdowns. He arrived in Eugene in 2023 and became an immediate contributor in the passing game for Bo Nix, finishing the Fiesta Bowl-winning season with 37 grabs for 452 yards, six touchdowns, and one rushing score.
9. Nick Nash, Wide Receiver, San Jose State
A Biletnikoff Award finalist, the 6-foot-3 senior took home college football's triple crown, leading the nation in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

Mets call up prized infield prospect Ronny Mauricio after Mark Vientos injury
Associated Press NEW YORK (AP) — Prized infield prospect Ronny Mauricio was called up from the minors by the New York Mets on Tuesday and put in the starting lineup at third base against the Los Angeles Dodgers. His promotion came after third baseman Mark Vientos strained his right hamstring late in Monday night's victory over the Dodgers. He went on the injured list Tuesday. Mauricio was slated to bat seventh. 'I'm feeling great,' he said in the Mets clubhouse before the game. 'I'm the same person I was before my surgeries.' Rated for years among the top 100 prospects in baseball and a jewel in the organization, Mauricio made his major league debut in September 2023 and batted .248 with two home runs, nine RBIs and seven stolen bases in 26 games that year. But months later, the switch-hitter tore a knee ligament playing winter ball in the Dominican Republic and missed the 2024 season while recovering from multiple operations. 'None of us wanted to rush that process," Mauricio said. 'There were some setbacks in my recovery. We just wanted to take it slower to make sure everything was right.' Mauricio said the year away was frustrating, but helped him in many ways. 'I was able to focus more on my body, my ability as a person. I was able to improve on my English as well," he said, explaining that he took online language classes. Finally healthy again, the 24-year-old Mauricio has played at three minor league levels this season as he finished rehabbing and began gaining regular game reps. He was reinstated from the injured list May 17 and optioned to Triple-A Syracuse. 'I think I'm the same hitter,' he said. 'The biggest difference is I now have more knowledge of the game.' Mauricio has been on a tear at the plate recently, hitting .515 with three homers, eight RBIs, four steals and a 1.382 OPS in 39 plate appearances over nine games at Syracuse. Vientos stumbled out of the batter's box on a 10th-inning groundout Monday night and fell to the turf. When he got up, he grabbed for his right hamstring. A natural shortstop, Mauricio has played several other positions in the minors and majors. He started 21 big league games at second base in 2023, and five at third. In other moves Tuesday, right-hander Frankie Montas was transferred to Triple-A Syracuse on a rehab assignment. Left-hander Brandon Waddell was recalled from Syracuse, while right-hander Max Kranick was optioned to Triple-A. ___ AP MLB: recommended

49ers overhaul defensive line with rookies and Bryce Huff after disappointing season
FILE - Philadelphia Eagles' Bryce Huff walks to the field during an NFL football NFC divisional playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles, Rams Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, in Philadelphia. (AP Photo/Matt Slocum, File) FILE - Philadelphia Eagles' Bryce Huff walks to the field during an NFL football NFC divisional playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles, Rams Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, in Philadelphia. (AP Photo/Matt Slocum, File) SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers have built their defense out from the defensive line ever since coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch arrived eight years ago. An underwhelming performance from that unit during a disappointing 2024 season has led to a near complete overhaul at the position with San Francisco now counting on three rookies and recently acquired edge rusher Bryce Huff to give enough support to holdover star Nick Bosa to get back to having a dominant front. Advertisement To make sure the additions fit seamlessly, the Niners are relying on defensive line coach Kris Kocurek, who welcomes the challenge with some 'fresh blood in the room.' 'This year is probably one of the more significant turnovers with the youth that we've added to the mix and acquiring Bryce here in the last few days,' Kocurek said Tuesday. 'There will be quite a few new faces in there that will have to make significant contributions. We knew it was a possibility there would be some turnover. It also can be challenging bringing in four to five new guys in a room. But I like it. They're all coming in very eager, willing to learn and trying to get a little better each day, stacking one day on top of the next.' The 49ers cut three Week 1 starters from last season, letting go of expensive veterans like Javon Hargrave, Leonard Floyd and Maliek Collins and replacing them with youth. San Francisco used the 11th overall pick on versatile Georgia defensive end Mykel Williams before adding defensive tackles Alfred Collins in the second round and CJ West in the fourth. Advertisement Those additions were meant to shore up a run defense that regressed in recent years with the 4.45 yards per carry allowed last season more than 1 yard higher than the 3.4 average in 2022. The trade for Huff that was officially completed when he passed a physical on Tuesday was aimed at giving the team a dynamic edge rusher across from Bosa. The team had no other edge rusher who had a season with at least five sacks before trading a conditional fifth-round pick for Huff, who had 10 sacks and 67 pressures on 334 pass rush snaps in 2023 when he played on the New York Jets for Robert Saleh, who is back in San Francisco this season for a second stint as defensive coordinator. Kocurek said Huff's speed off the edge and his quick get-off 'jumps off the tape' and is confident he can return to that form after struggling last season in Philadelphia in a defense that had him playing more as a stand-up linebacker than a dedicated edge rusher. Advertisement Huff had only 2 1/2 sacks and 23 pressures in his one season in Philadelphia, missing five games with a wrist injury. He was then a healthy scratch in the Super Bowl. 'If you're born into a hand-in-the-ground defense, it's an adjustment period to turn yourself into a stand-up, outside linebacker role and vice versa,' Kocurek said. 'There's a learning curve and steps you have to take to master the techniques. It's not just snap your fingers and go to a different scheme.' Kocurek hopes the changes in personnel lead to a change in performance after the struggles up front last season contributed to a 6-11 record and the team's fewest sacks in a season since 2020 when Bosa missed nearly the entire year with a knee injury. 'If that doesn't piss you off than you've got to get out of coaching,' Kocurek said. 'The fire burns deeper in your stomach, the chip gets bigger on your shoulder and you want to do everything humanly possible to make sure it doesn't happen again. No one should be happy about it.' Advertisement NOTES: The Niners made three other roster moves after adding Huff. They signed receiver Malik Knowles to a one-year deal, waived OL Nicholas Petit-Frere and placed WR Trent Taylor on IR. ___ AP NFL:

Is Saquon Barkley worried about the Madden cover curse? He says it's ‘in God's hands'
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley smiles after Super Bowl 59 against the Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, in New Orleans. | Frank Franklin II Saquon Barkley wasn't going to turn down the chance to be the Madden NFL 26 cover star. When he got the invite, he stayed focused on how many people would love to be in his shoes — not the so-called 'Madden curse.' Advertisement 'I know so many people, so many kids that ... would love to be in the position I'm in right now,' the Philadelphia Eagles running back told NFL Network on Monday. Barkley went on to explain that he believes in God, not curses. 'I've had injuries before. I tore my knee, I stepped on a foot and rolled my ankle and was out 4-to-6 weeks, and there was no curse then,' he said. 'That's just how life works. You're gonna have your ups and downs, but my mindset is coming in, work, do what I need to do, and the rest is in God's hands.' The Madden curse Barkley was asked about the Madden curse because it's become a major talking point in conversations about the popular video game. Advertisement Some fans believe the athlete featured on the cover is doomed to perform poorly in the future, whether because of a significant injury or some other factor. 'Numerous stars to grace the Madden cover have (dealt) with injury issues,' per USA Today. 'That includes Madden 25 cover athlete Christian McCaffrey, who was limited to four games in 2024 because of Achilles tendonitis and a PCL sprain in his knee." The article noted that rumors of a Madden curse have circulated for more than two decades. The 1999 cover star, San Francisco 49ers running back Garrison Hearst, is widely believed to be the first victim, since his 1998-99 season was disrupted by a gruesome ankle injury. Advertisement 'Complications from the injury — including avascular necrosis, which caused a bone in his injured foot to die — kept him out of the league for two seasons before he returned to play for the 49ers in 2001," USA Today reported. Barkley rushed for more than 2,000 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. He was named the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year just before he and his Eagles teammates won the Super Bowl. For the Madden NFL 26 cover, Barkley recreated his iconic reverse hurdle from a Nov. 3 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Advertisement He told NFL Network that the photo shoot for Madden made him 'realize how special (that play) was.' 'When we had to recreate it, I was like, 'I don't know if I feel comfortable doing this not in the midst of a game,'' he said. Barkley and the Madden team ultimately decided to use a harness for the photo shoot, he explained.
