Tolmer high-grade silver discovery: expedited soil geochemistry program completed over ~1.9km2 area surrounding recently expanded reverse circulation (RC) drilling program1
ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA / ACCESS Newswire / July 13, 2025 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(FRA:BGD3)(OTCQB:BGDFF) (Barton or Company) is pleased to confirm that an expedited soil sampling program has been completed over a ~1.9km2 area surrounding the new 'Tolmer' high grade silver discovery at the Company's South Australian Tarcoola Gold Project (Tarcoola). ~380 samples have been collected with assay results expected during September 2025.1

Commenting on the geochemical program, Barton Managing Director Alexander Scanlon said:
"We recently expanded our Tolmer 'silver zone' drilling by ~50% to cover a ~400 metre by ~250 metre area based, in part, upon further geological surface reconnaissance. This program extends that reconnaissance to a broader area of ~1,700 metres by ~1,100 metres to see if we can potentially identify a larger mineralised footprint."
Program background
Barton identified Tolmer as a high-grade gold discovery in August 2024, and subsequently identified a new 'silver zone' ~500m west in a line of seven discovery holes with globally significant assays including 6m @ 4,747 g/t Ag from 46m, 14m @ 434 g/t Ag from 46m and 4m @ 1,417 g/t Ag from 9m.2
2,882m RC drilling was completed during June 2025 to test extensions of mineralisation in all directions, with the current geochemical sampling intended to potentially map a broader surface footprint.3

Stanford hires former Nike CEO John Donahoe as new athletic director
Stanford's new athletic director has taken quite a unique path to his job. The school announced the hiring of former Nike CEO John Donahoe as its next athletic director Thursday. Donahoe joins Stanford after spending nearly six years at Nike. He was hired by the company in 2019 and remained with Nike until Sept. 2024. Donahoe was succeeded by Elliott Hill, though remained in an advisory role with Nike until January of 2025. While Donahoe's job history makes him an unusual hire for Stanford, that's exactly what the school was seeking, per ESPN. "Stanford officials viewed [Donahoe] as a "unicorn candidate" because of both his business ties and history at the school. Stanford coveted a nontraditional candidate for the role." Donahoe has a history with Stanford, as he received his master's degree from the university in 1986 and served on the business school's advisory board. He also has experience with another university. Donahoe served on Dartmouth's board of trustees from 2003 to 2012. He received his bachelor's degree from Dartmouth. After getting his master's degree from Stanford, Donahoe put together an impressive resume in the business world. In addition to working at Nike, he also spent time at Bain and Company, eBay and ServiceNow. In the role, Donahoe will serve oversee the entire athletics department at Stanford, meaning he'll be Andrew Luck's boss. Luck was hired to be the football team's general manager last November. Luck had nothing but good things to say about Donahoe in a statement released by the university Thursday. "I am absolutely thrilled John Donahoe is joining as our next athletic director. He brings unparalleled experience and elite leadership to our athletic department in a time of opportunity and change. I could not be more excited to partner with and learn from him.' Donahoe's hiring comes months after long-time athletic director Bernard Muir announced he would step down at the end of the school year. Muir served as Stanford's athletic director from 2012 to 2025.

Ford's US July sales rise over 9% on SUV, pickup demand
(Reuters) -Ford on Friday reported a 9.3% rise in U.S. auto sales for July compared to the previous year, helped by sustained demand for pickup trucks and SUVs. Aggressive discount programs and its "zero, zero, zero" campaign, offering a $0 down payment, zero percent interest for 48 months and zero payments for the first 90 days on most vehicles, helped the company gain some market share. Ford, whose lineup leans heavily on SUVs and pickup trucks, has also continued to benefit from demand from buyers towards larger vehicles. Sales of its top-selling F-Series were up 6.6% to 73,538 trucks in July. The Detroit automaker notched sales of 189,313 units compared with 173,223 units a year ago.
