Shop TikTok's viral stackable makeup, smart gyms and the kid-approved Nugget Couch Consider this your weekly guide to the internet's trendiest products across beauty, wellness, travel and beyond.
Craving a taste of TikTok's most viral products—sans the exhaustive doom scroll that often accompanies it? You've come to the right place.
There are few apps that provide more shopping inspiration than TikTok, but navigating the platform's vast world of product recommendations can often be pretty daunting.
That's why I created this weekly series, where together, we can break down the most popular TikTok items trending on any given day, and assess whether or not they deserve a spot in your digital shopping cart.
Shop this week's most viral TikTok products
In this week's installment, I rounded up the most viral essentials that are currently flooding my For You page, including the kiddo-friendly Nugget Couch, a best-selling beach hat that's perfect for summer wear and the stackable makeup kit that's taking the internet by storm.
Check out our TikTok Shop
Shop trending TikTok-viral products below:
1. A modular play couch for kiddos
The Nugget Couch takes the concept of modular furniture to a whole new level. With four foam pieces as the base, the furniture is designed to be "infinitely configurable," giving kids the freedom to reimagine and redesign the sofa as they see fit. It's convertible, it's functional and it's wrapped in a washable fabric that can withstand even the messiest playrooms.
My verdict? I look at this kiddo-friendly couch, and suddenly find myself yearning for the days of weekend sleepovers and endless afternoons spent in my playroom. My only question: How old is too old to buy one for myself?
2. The floppy beach hat with over 35,000 reviews
No wardrobe is complete without a stylish beach hat incorporated into it, and according to Amazon shoppers, this Lanzom Straw Panama Beach Hat is pretty great. It boasts a 4.5 rating on Amazon's site, with over 1,000 shoppers buying the accessory last month alone.
My verdict? Beach hats are synonymous with summer, and the nearly 36,000 people who have bought (and raved) about this Amazon best-seller tells me it's truly a worthwhile buy. Farewell bucket hats—I'm entering into my floppy hat girl era.
Where to buy bathing suits: Summersalt, PacSun, Amazon, Target and more 👙
3. Look good, feel good with Tonal's smart fitness mirror
Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fittest of them all? At present, it's definitely not me—but that could change with the help of this Tonal 2 Smart Fitness System. This TikTok-famous home gym system is built to look like a standard wall mirror, but it's actually equipped with a Smart View camera, adaptive weight technology and access to expert-led workouts that'll help you up your fitness game from home—no bulky machinery required.
My verdict? I have a love-hate relationship with the Tonal 2. On one hand, it's a genius fitness tool that's designed to help users create a more comprehensive workout experience. On the other hand, its compact design makes it a manageable option for those (like myself) in small apartments—meaning I can no longer blame my lack of space on my sloppy fitness regimen. Le sigh!
4. Stackable makeup for easy travel
Multifunctional beauty lovers, this Subtl Starter Stak is just for you! The 5-in-1 cosmetic bundle includes a concealer, powder highlighter and bronzer (among other things), all of which are stacked together in a conveniently portable design that's perfect for cluttered office bags and long travel days.
My verdict? Much like my linen closet, my makeup bag has become an amalgamation of products I regularly use, products I never use and products I (realistically) should have thrown out five years ago. This stackable makeup kit is designed to better organize your cosmetics—perhaps it can make a neat freak out of me?
Throwback: Subtl Beauty was an editor-approved Black Friday 2024 deal
5. An influencer-approved vlog light
The fairy godmother of Gen Z influencers—aka Alix Earle—gave this Newmowa 60 LED Conference Light her cosign, and the iPhone accessory has been trending on TikTok ever since. It delivers more even lighting for social videos or Zoom calls, and with its clipable design, is easy to take on the go.
My verdict? Add this to my ever-growing list of products that Alix Earle has influenced me to buy.
How do I determine the most viral TikTok products?
There are a couple factors I take into consideration when narrowing down the best TikTok products on any given week, including: Which product categories are trending on TikTok? Is there an organic discourse surrounding individual items? Are there product reviews from shoppers that can support the hype surrounding a popular TikTok product? Understanding the functionality of an item—beyond just its virality—is critical in assessing its value, and I ensure that any products recommended here are also backed by USA Today Shopping editors, shoppers and boast no lower than a 4.0 average rating.

Behcet (Ben) Kaya, Revered Author, Releases 'Deception,' His Latest Jack Ludefance Thriller: 'Hired by a Dead Man'

Now available, Deception takes readers on a thrilling race against time, where uncovering the truth comes at a high cost. LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2025 / / -- Internationally recognized author Behcet (Ben) Kaya has released his latest crime thriller, Deception: A Jack Ludefance Novel. The newest installment in his acclaimed PI series launches with a chilling premise: a dying Colonel hires Jack Ludefance to uncover who poisoned him, sending the detective into a race against time filled with danger, deception, and intrigue. Deception: A Jack Ludefance Novel and the entire Jack Ludefance series are available on and other online booksellers. Click here: 'I refuse to ignore my past,' says Kaya. 'My books are a blend of what has happened and what is happening today. We can never outgrow the past; it is the root of who we are. That's why I take relevant stories and shape them into fiction that not only entertains but also helps reveal deeper truths.' Packed with twists, suspicious characters, and a race against time, Deception showcases Kaya's signature storytelling, fast-paced, suspenseful, and layered with themes of truth, morality, and justice. Readers will find themselves immersed in a narrative that feels both thrillingly fictional and eerily reflective of real-world issues. Kaya first introduced readers to PI Jack Ludefance in 2017, inspired by a dinner with his wife at a Florida bayside restaurant. The series has since grown to six novels, with a seventh, Murder at Tutley Brewery, already in progress. Readers Rave 'Deception by Behcet Kaya is another fantastic book by this author and features the character of Jack Ludefance. Having read the books in this series, I know how great the writing is. Book 6 has Jack investigating a chilling case: Colonel Westerdam believes he's been poisoned and hires Jack to determine the truth. The suspects include shady doctors, a sketchy woman, and things from the Colonel's past. Kaya builds layers of suspense, atmosphere, and character. I loved trying to figure out the puzzle of this case. The vivid, highly conversational style moves the story along at a quick pace. I was totally immersed in this book and loved the plot, characters and ultimate ending. Recommended.' Beyond his fiction, Kaya's own story is as compelling as his novels. Born in northeastern Turkey, he left home at the age of fourteen, worked on construction sites in Istanbul while studying English, and later moved to London in 1965. Balancing education with long hours as a restaurant worker, he steadily built a life defined by resilience and determination. In 1976, Kaya emigrated to the United States, became a citizen in 1985, and later earned top security clearance to work on nuclear power plant projects. Alongside his professional career, his artistic pursuits flourished, as he studied theater in Atlanta and Los Angeles before embarking on a literary career that began with the award-winning Voice of Conscience in 2007. He has since published nine novels, including Road to Siran, Erin's Story, and Murder on the Naval Base, which was adapted into a screenplay and recently recognized by the Oxford Script Awards (Summer 2025). Today, Kaya lives in Florida's Panhandle with his wife, where he enjoys the beaches, long cruises, and playing a rare violin crafted by a Turkish luthier. His life story is a testament to persistence, creativity, and the enduring power of imagination, qualities reflected in every book he writes. About Behcet (Ben) Kaya Behcet (Ben) Kaya is the internationally recognized author of nine novels and a graduate of CSU Channel Islands with a BA in Political Science. 'I have a confession to make, and if you are my kid's school teacher, just keep swiping,' she — who shares her life with three daughters, Berklie, 12, Kinlee, 9, and Hadley, 6, on social media — went on to admit that she 'sometimes' gives her girls 'the answers to their homework.''After the kids have been at school all day, done their work, been on their best behavior and they come home with homework… sometimes I give them the answers to their homework,' she said in the explained that after a long school day, she doesn't always see the point in pushing them to finish every question on their own. Weaver recalled a recent moment with her youngest daughter, Hadley, describing how the 6-year-old began to fidget and lose focus toward the end of a homework assignment.'Hadley came home from school yesterday — she is so well-behaved at school,' she continued. 'We get home, we're sitting, we're doing homework — you can tell she starts to get ancy towards the end. She's starting to get frustrated; she's starting to get over it. So, like the last four or five questions, I just give them the freaking answers.'Rather than drawing out the frustration, the mom-of-three said she simply provided the last few answers for said her daughters 'are so good at school' — earning good grades and turning in all their assignments — which is why she doesn't mind stepping in when she sees them 'getting ancy, fidgety and annoyed.'In those moments, she admitted, she'll 'give them the answers,' and the same goes for school projects, where she often takes on a large share of the work.'As a kid, that's a lot and that's hard,' she explained. 'Our job as parents is to help them; some may disagree, but I don't really care. I've been doing it since Berkeley [her oldest daughter] was the little one, and I'm gonna do it until Hadley's [her youngest] is all big.' After going viral, Weaver responded to the mixed reactions in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. "If my kids were behind in school or getting bad grades, I obviously wouldn't be giving them answers," Weaver tells PEOPLE."They are well behaved at school [and] they all excel academically, so I will always lend a helping hand if they are staying on top of school," she continues. "It's such a long day being at school all day, sitting quietly and doing work. I try my best to help."The post quickly sparked chatter among her followers, with some applauding her honesty while others questioning whether it crossed the line between support and overstepping.'Big yikes,' one follower wrote, while another chimed in, 'Homework is ridiculous, they spend hours in school.'Others sided with Weaver, with one user saying, 'I don't see anything wrong with this,' and another questioning the overall reaction: 'Why is everyone agreeing with this?' Bagel shop sparks huge backlash over its lazy schmear technique: ‘Downright diabolical'

A New Jersey bagel shop is being schmeared online for its cream cheese placement on a woman's bagels. A New York City-based influencer posted a video on TikTok earlier this month showing her 55.7K followers their abysmal breakfast from Bella's Bagels in Seaside Park, New Jersey — racking up 25 million views and countless infuriated cream cheese critics. 'What is this?' the TikTokker, Valentina, asked as she held up the two halves of her bagel with thick slabs of cream cheese in the center of the bagel, ostensibly unschmeared. Advertisement 'Did you just cut Philadelphia cream cheese and put the freaking block?' 'And I know it's not a mistake, because what is this?' she said, showing a second bagel in her order that looked even worse than the first, with a block of cream cheese on just one side of the bagel and a deep space on the other half. 'This is not OK, guys, you have to spread your cream cheese,' she declared. Advertisement Valentina received nearly 15,000 comments in response. 'I thought that was a baked potato,' one person admitted. 'WHY IS IT A BLOCK?' another exclaimed. Advertisement 'I thought that was an Ice cream sandwich,' someone else said. 'Nahh, the second one was hateful,' one wrote. 'That's an appropriate amount of cream cheese for a bagel schmear, but a downright diabolical distribution of it,' another pointed out. 3 The second bagel in her order looked even worse than the first, with a block of cream cheese on just one side of the bagel and a deep space on the other half. TikTok/ Advertisement Bella's Bagels indirectly responded with a video posted to their TikTok account, but reportedly deleted the video after backlash. But nosy internet sleuths saved the video and reposted it. 'This is how we actually make bagels with cream cheese,' an employee said in the now-deleted video. 'We put a little glob in the middle and then we spread, cover all the edges, and then we cut it,' she said. 'This is how it should look — nice and soft, nice and spread, a nice Jersey schmear. If your bagel does not look like this, please come back or give us a call and we will fix it.' The video didn't go the way the bagel shop had seemingly wanted it to, with many commenting that their response was 'rude' and 'passive-aggressive.' 'Right. We know what it should like. That's the problem,' someone wrote. 'You ACTUALLY gave her a block of cheese. She SHOULDN'T have to come back so you can redo it. You SHOULD do it right the first time so she doesn't have to be back in the Jersey Shore,' another said. 3 Valentina held up the two halves of her bagel with thick blocks of cream cheese in the center of the bagel, seemingly not spread. TikTok/ Advertisement Some perturbed viewers even went back to Valentina's original post to discuss the response. 'They replied, acting like it was your fault you didn't come back for them to fix it,' one pointed out. 'They could have addressed how it should've been done without being passive-aggressive,' another said. 'Their response is even worse,' someone wrote. Advertisement 3 Bella's Bagels indirectly responded with a video posted to their TikTok account, but deleted the video after backlash. Google Maps Since then, the Bella's Bagels TikTok account has been flooded with negative comments, with its Yelp page frozen as platform moderators investigate alleged review bombing — presumably by Valentina's followers. Valentina posted an update asking people to stop tagging the bagel shop and noted that some individual employees reached out to her through their personal social media accounts, offering to somehow fix the situation. She said she appreciated the effort but 'left it alone' — until she saw the since-deleted video from Bella's Bagels. Advertisement 'But now I see that the company is actually posting a video, and they're throwing shade at the end, which is so unnecessary,' she said in the follow-up video. 'If you are trying to fix bad PR, you should probably respond to me and not like make a snide comment. That's just my two cents.' The Post has reached out to Bella's Bagels for comment.
