Chris Evans' CarFest moving to Silverstone for 2026
From next August, the event moves to Silverstone, the Northamptonshire motor racing circuit that is home to Formula One's British Grand Prix and where scenes from Brad Pitt's F1 movie were filmed.
Evans said: 'This move opens up possibilities we've never had before, more space, more cars, more ways to surprise and delight our audience and most importantly, an opportunity to raise even more money for UK children's charities.
'The heart of CarFest will always be the same, with charitable fundraising and entertainment, providing unforgettable experiences for all ages, at the core of our mission. As one of the UK's premier entertainment destinations, Silverstone gives us the perfect stage for the next chapter in our story.'
He said: 'I wanted to share this incredibly exciting news today, so anyone who wants to join us and say farewell to the amazing home we have had at Laverstoke Park Farm has the opportunity to join us for one last amazing party there this coming weekend.
'Together, we can deliver an even bigger and better event while raising vital funds for charity.'
This year's line-up includes music from rock band The Boomtown Rats and Scottish outfit Travis and talks with a number of chefs, wellness experts and more.
Silverstone chief executive Stuart Pringle said: 'Silverstone has evolved into a year-round destination for world-class events, and we are thrilled to be working with CarFest for next year's event.
'For more than a decade, CarFest has inspired a devoted community of fans, becoming a true highlight of the British festival calendar. As the ultimate summer celebration, blending music, motors, food, family fun, and unforgettable experiences, CarFest is a perfect fit for Silverstone.'
CarFest has run annually since 2012, with the exception of 2020, when it was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.
The 2026 CarFest at Silverstone will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, August 27-30, with tickets and further details to be announced soon.
CarFest 2025 is taking place between August 22 and August 24 at Laverstoke Park Farm.

TV fans predict 'Inbetweeners reunion' after stars tease new project
Fans of The Inbetweeners have been begging for a reunion of the Noughties comedy series since it came to an end in 2010—and some new photos have given everyone fresh hope. Starring Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley, and Blake Harrison, The Inbetweeners became one of Channel 4's most successful shows of its era. Set in suburban southern England, The Inbetweeners focused on the hilarious and painfully awkward love lives (or lack thereof) of four ordinary boys in sixth form college. It ran for three seasons, produced 18 episodes in total, spawned two sequel films, and is still one of the most popular British comedy shows of all time. Such is the extent of its popularity in Britain that fans have begged for a reunion episode for 10 years now, following the release of The Inbetweeners Movie 2 in 2014. So, when one cast member took to Instagram with a cryptic post, it's safe to say he set the comments alight. On his social media, James teased that he and Joe are 'working on something', giving no further details to excited fans. The post was accompanied by a series of pictures of James and Joe, who dressed up in different outfits for a photoshoot and showed fans behind-the-scenes images of the get-together. Naturally, the comments section reacted anything but calmly to the post. MostlyEnders commented, 'Inbetweeners 3?' while Johnoo1992 demanded, 'We need an Inbetweeners reunion'. SkylarRossFelton said they 'couldn't wait' for a potential Inbetweeners 3, while JamesKeeleyy is also 'waiting' not-so patiently. Following the end of The Inbetweeners, stars Joe and James worked together on the sitcom White Gold, which followed a crew of window salesmen in 1980s Essex. White Gold ran for two seasons between 2017 and 2019 before it was axed by the BBC, with James admitting in 2020 he had no idea the show had been cancelled. Some fans who stayed with the lads until White Gold predicted that the window sales comedy would be making a return following the Insta pics, with that being the most recent project James and Joe worked on together. MichaelParkerus was clear about what he wants: 'I don't care if it's good [or bad], I'll watch anything that supports you four getting back together.' Since then, the four stars of The Inbetweeners have all been working on separate things, with the 2019 Fwends Reunited show still the last time any of them worked together. The reunion show was panned by fans, sadly, as people had expected the talk show to be a one-off sequel episode. Out of all the cast, though, work-wise, it looks like James and Joe are the closest, as this is not the first time they have worked on a new project in 2025, with the two teaming up for an Oasis-themed sketch in aid of Comic Relief. The sketch – titled Oasis: The Reunion – followed efforts to get the feuding brothers back on stage together and starred Martin Lewis as an accountant. More Trending Joe revealed last year that he, James, Simon, and Blake have all discussed the possibility of an Inbetweeners comeback, adding that they think it would be a 'nice thing to do'. 'We're all still around; we're all still in each other's lives. We all still like each other, and if it was something that came up, I think we would want to do it,' he said. View More » Joe continued: 'I feel like we all still really like each other. We've all been able to go away and get various monkeys off our backs, in terms of things that we felt we needed to do other than The Inbetweeners to prove something to ourselves.' Got a story? Gogglebox star Ellie Warner's tearful confession about young son
Ellie Warner expressed her heart-breaking statement after a family holiday in Spain. One of Gogglebox's fan favourites Ellie Warner has received floods of support from fans following an emotional family update. She shared a heartfelt confession about her two-year-old son on Instagram this weekend. Ellie first appeared on the Channel 4 programme in 2015 alongside sister Izzi, and the pair quickly became audience favourites. The Leeds sisters have left audiences howling with their witty remarks over the years. Beyond her television career, Ellie enjoys a loving relationship with partner Nat Eddleston, with whom she has been romantically involved for several years. The couple share two-year-old son Ezra. One snap saw Ellie, Nat and Ezra together in a family selfie, whilst another photograph showed the TV star soaking up the sun. Ellie also shared endearing pictures of her young son enjoying ice lollies. In her post, Ellie revealed her conflicted feelings as their Spanish break came to an end. She penned: "Had the most amazing holiday in Spain I shed a tear on the morning of the last day because Ezra isn't going to be this little again next time we go away. Who even am I? ! I'm turning into aunty Jayne." Ellie's fans took to the comments to offer their encouragement. One supporter wrote: "You have amazing memories though, and great photos. It is sad when our babies grow up!" Someone else commented: "What a lovely family, Ezra is so cute. And you are looking amazing Ellie, enjoy every minute of him growing up it goes by in a flash." A third person remarked: "Aw looks Ezra had the time of his life xx super cutie." Ellie and Izzi last graced our screens in May when series 25 drew to a close. And their fellow cast members Dave and Shirley Griffiths have recently disclosed that the fresh series will arrive on our televisions much earlier than anticipated. Within the Instagram comments beneath a photograph of Dave and Shirley, one admirer questioned them about when filming would commence for Gogglebox's upcoming series. They enquired: "When you starting filming for gogglebox again @dave_shirl_gogglebox.?". Dave and Shirley subsequently responded: "end of August mate won't be long." The supporter replied: "Ah mate I cannot wait." In other Gogglebox news, a Scots couple were recently axed from the show. Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle announced their departure from the Channel 4 series, saying they were not asked back for the upcoming episodes. The Glaswegian duo made their Gogglebox debut at the beginning of 2022 as the first Scottish cast members to star on the programme in over six years. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Liam Gallagher continues to slam Edinburgh Council as Oasis take over Dublin
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Despite Oasis leaving the capital last week, it seems we are still on the Gallagher's minds, well more specifically, Edinburgh Council officials are. Liam let loose on officials after they had singled out the band's fans as "drunk", "fat" and "old" in secret safety briefings and he has continued on his tirade in Dublin. Bosses claimed that most of the 200,000 music-lovers attending the reunion shows across the three days were 'rowdy' 'middle-aged men' who 'take up more room' and will drink to 'medium to high intoxication," the Record reports. During each night of Oasis' epic three-day spectacular at Murrayfield in the capital, Liam slammed council chiefs over the remarks. Now, the Oasis frontman has bashed the council once again but this time during their shows at Croke Park in Dublin over the weekend. Join Edinburgh Live's Whatsapp Community here and get the latest news sentstraight to your messages. Liam called out the council by shouting, "Edinburgh City Council", before cutting himself off and pointing to the his head and then the crowd. His brother, Noel Gallagher, chimed in, however, adding: "Four billion f***ing pound they've had." The comments were in relation to Liam's comments on Tuesday August 12, Oasis final performance at Murrayfield, where he said: "£3billion we've brought into this city over the past five days. And that's between you and us. Three billion f****** quid. "You won't see f*** all, because they'll rob it and spread it among their posh ugly mates. "Still waiting for our apology, bring it on down, you c****". This comes after his remarks on Friday August 8 where the singer demanded an apology in a sweary rant at Murrayfield - calling council officials "f****** s****". Then, during the following day's show, he said that Edinburgh Council had "the cheek" to make comments about his fans. Last week, Council Leader Jane Meagher responded to the Gallagher brother's put-downs. She said: 'I think Liam Gallagher had every right to be annoyed by what he read – I would be too. Sign up for Edinburgh Live newsletters for more headlines straight to your inbox 'It's clear that the many thousands of people who flocked to Murrayfield to catch Oasis's spectacular and highly anticipated reunion shows had a great time – and I want to congratulate the band on their triumphant return to the city." Fans who successfully snapped up tickets for the Oasis 25 dates back in September 2024 had waited 332 days to see the band's first Scottish dates in 16 years since the Gallagher brothers began a well-publicised and long running feud that split the band.
