Laura Woods will be leading the coverage, accompanied by a star-studded panel of pundits including Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand, Karen Carney and Owen Hargreaves.
Gerrard, naturally, is no stranger to Champions League glory, having hoisted the trophy as captain of Liverpool following their extraordinary comeback victory against AC Milan in the 2005 final in Istanbul, reports Wales Online.
An Anfield icon, the former midfielder retired in 2016, drawing the curtain on a career that saw him scoop numerous individual accolades as well as two FA Cups, three League Cups, a UEFA Cup and a UEFA Super Cup.
Since hanging up his boots, Gerrard has transitioned into management, taking the reins at Rangers, Aston Villa and Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq. However, he parted ways with the Saudi Pro League team in January.
As he gears up to share his insights on Saturday night's match, here's a glimpse into the life of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard beyond the pitch.
Impressive fortune.
Following a profitable playing career, Gerrard boasts an impressive estimated net worth of around £75 million, as reported by 888Sports.
It's believed that he raked in approximately £22.5 million throughout his career, which spanned 17 years at Liverpool before he hung up his boots at MLS team LA Galaxy.
The 45 year old has also pocketed a tidy sum in management, having reportedly earned a whopping £15.2 million-a-year salary while managing Al-Ettifaq.
This staggering figure placed Gerrard as the fourth-highest paid manager globally at the time, with only Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone out-earning him.
His substantial wealth has been further bolstered by numerous sponsorship deals throughout his career, endorsing brands such as Adidas, Jaguar and Lucozade.
Glamorous spouse.
Next month, Gerrard will mark 18 years of wedded bliss with his wife Alex Curran, after they exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Buckinghamshire in June 2007.
Interestingly, the pair - who began dating in 2002 - tied the knot on the same day as the weddings of his England colleagues Gary Neville and Michael Carrick.
Initially a nail technician, Curran later transitioned into modelling and worked as a fashion columnist for the Daily Mirror and OK!
Magazine.
Together, the couple are parents to four children - Lilly-Ella, Lexie, Lourdes and Lio.
During Gerrard's tenure at Al-Ettifaq, his wife, Alex Curran, and their children opted to reside in Bahrain instead of Saudi Arabia, enjoying a luxurious lifestyle in a high-end villa.
In a previous interview on the High Performance Podcast while managing Rangers, Gerrard admitted that his wife would be happy for him to leave football management "tomorrow" due to the strain on their family life. He said: "There are times when it dominates your life and you can't control that. That's what it is."
However, he acknowledged, "But there will be a stage in my life where I have to give it up, for the sake of my family and for myself. To cut it, and live life with a bit of peace. There's got to be a stage of your life where you have calm and peace, but at the moment I don't feel ready for it."
He continued, "I do still feel full of energy. I do think I can help players. I do see opportunities to have more highs, and buzzes, and adrenaline rushes."
Gerrard mentioned, "For Alex and the kids, at some stage, I'm going to have to give myself to them, 100%. When that will be, who knows? Alex would take it tomorrow. She'd take it tomorrow."
He also shared, "Alex is the one who brings me down, when I've come in, and think I'm fantastic. If I've scored a goal, or we've won a game, she pipes me down."
Gerrard added, "And when you're on the floor, and you're staring at the wall, she's the one who helps pick you up."
Earlier this year, Gerrard's eldest daughter Lilly-Ella announced that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Lee Byrne. The 20 year old broke the news on social media with a picture of her positive pregnancy test, captioning it: "Our little secret.
"The best news," she added. "Mini us is on the way."
Her beau Lee is the offspring of famed Dublin criminal Liam Byrne, who just last year was jailed for five years due to firearms offences.
Lee's late grandfather, career felon James 'Jaws' Byrne, passed away at 77.
Despite the family history, LBC reports that Gerrard treats Lee no differently than anyone else and expressed delight at becoming a grandad at 45.
Following Lilly-Ella's reveal, he commented: "We can't wait, great news and congratulations - we love you."

Tuesday's briefing: Crystal Palace to meet UEFA officials and Mason moves on

Palace must show UEFA's club financial control body (CFCB) that they do not fall foul of its multi-club ownership rules. There has been a change at Tottenham as it was announced on Monday night that first-team coach Ryan Mason had left to take over as West Brom boss, but there is still no news on the future of Ange Postecoglou. Palace's European tour on hold? Palace qualified for the Europa League after they stunned Manchester City at Wembley to clinch FA Cup final success on May 17. However, John Textor holds a 43 per cent stake in Palace through his company Eagle Football and he is also the owner of French club Lyon, who qualified for the Europa League with a sixth-placed finish in Ligue 1. No individual is allowed to have a significant say in the running of two clubs competing in the same UEFA competition and the CFCB would have to make a ruling on any potential breach. PA understands Palace are confident no rules have been breached owing to the fact that Textor – through Eagle Football – has only a 25 per cent share of voting rights alongside fellow principal owners Josh Harris, David Blitzer and chairman Steve Parish. Parish is also responsible for the day-to-day running of the club. Mason moves on Introducing our new men's first team Head Coach, Ryan Mason! 💙🤍 — West Bromwich Albion (@WBA) June 2, 2025 Ryan Mason ended his lengthy association with Tottenham on Monday to accept his first permanent managerial role as West Brom boss. West Brom quickly made Mason, 33, their leading candidate to replace Tony Mowbray after the veteran was dismissed on April 21. Spurs' roller-coaster 2024-25 campaign only ended on May 25 but after a short holiday, Mason decided to accept the advances of the Championship club and agreed a three-year deal to become the youngest head coach in the second tier. Once-capped England midfielder Mason spent 17 years at Tottenham as a player before a further seven years as a coach after he was forced to retire in 2018 after he fractured his skull in a Premier League match. Transfer activity continues Liverpool continue to pursue a deal to sign Florian Wirtz (Bradley Collyer/PA) Liverpool continue to pursue a deal to sign Florian Wirtz after their £109million bid was rebuffed by Bayer Leverkusen. A firm offer was made on Friday but the Bundesliga side are holding out for a fee closer to £125m and talks are continuing. Chelsea, meanwhile, completed the signing of midfielder Dario Essugo from Sporting in time for him to be registered to feature in this month's Club World Cup. Elsewhere, Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has reportedly decided to join Manchester United this summer despite interest from other Premier League clubs. Wiegman 'pretty close' to knowing Euro 2025 squad England face Spain in the Women's Nations League in their final competitive fixture before the defence of their European Championship title this summer. Sarina Wiegman will cast an eye over her squad for one last time in Barcelona before she is forced to whittle down her options. However, the Euros-winning head coach admitted on Monday that she was 'pretty close' to knowing her squad before a Group A3 clash which will determine who progresses into the competition's finals. 'We're pretty close. Still of course you want to go to the game tomorrow and make the final decisions, but we're pretty close,' Wiegman revealed. What's on today? In addition to England's fixture with Spain, already-relegated Scotland are also in Nations League top-tier action as they visit the Netherlands. Wales, assured of bottom spot in Group A4, entertain Italy, whilst Northern Ireland travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group B1 and Republic of Ireland could still clinch promotion from Group B2 if they can beat leaders Slovenia.

What could be better than an English county show?

A smartly dressed, bowler-hatted man and a lady in a fascinator – both of whom would hardly look out of place at Royal Ascot – stride into the pigsty with clipboards, while a white-coated man (looking a little too much like a butcher) seeks the views of a small crowd of adults and children on the qualities of four physically impressive swine. This is the delightful eccentricity of the English county show – part agricultural competition, part funfair, part entertainment, part craft fair, part trade show, part society occasion, and part food and drink extravaganza – that provides an unrivalled insight into the complexity of modern Britain's rural economy and culture. The pigs are physically impressive, yet somewhat disengaged from the proceedings – for all continue to nap contentedly while their positions are decided.

Liverpool prepare record transfer offer as final Florian Wirtz obstacle emerges

Liverpool are looking to add more talent to their team and negotiations are underway with Leverkusen to secure a deal for Florian Wirtz in a deal that could set a British record Liverpool wasted little time in getting to work in the transfer market after winning the Premier League title in Arne Slot's first season. The Reds boss inspired his side to victory despite limited transfer activity last summer but there's been a change in tact this year. The Anfield side have already signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen having allowed Trent Alexander-Arnold to exit. The full-back joined Real Madrid a month before his contract expired, with the Merseyside team bringing in £10million. ‌ And now Liverpool are looking to add more talent to their team. Negotiations are underway with Leverkusen to secure a deal for Florian Wirtz in a deal that could set a British record. ‌ Slot is also looking to bolster his options at the back with a bid expected for Milos Kerkez. The Bournemouth defender is expected to add competition for Andy Robertson. Wirtz obstacle Bayer Leverkusen still expect Florian Wirtz to join Liverpool despite rejecting two offers, it has been claimed. The Reds' second bid fell short of Leverkusen's £126m asking price but they continue to lead the race to sign the superstar. According to Bild, Leverkusen higher-ups don't consider the move to be in jeopardy and the transfer fee is the only remaining obstacle. The same outlet reports that Liverpool and Wirtz have already agreed terms. A players-plus cash deal could offer a solution, while another suggestion is Liverpool could present a bid which will only hit Leverkusen's valuations if bonuses are triggered. Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah are among those being touted if the German club get a player as part of the transfer. ‌ Deco on Barca business Barcelona sporting director Deco says that targets Marcus Rashford and Luis Diaz should not be expecting any imminent transfer offers. In an interview with BBC Sport, the former Portugal international explained the club's priorities currently lie elsewhere. "We have been focusing on renewing contracts, after that, we'll discuss players to come," he said. "Of course, these two players, like you mentioned, they are good but have contracts in their clubs, so we won't speak because it's not fair. But when you decide to go to the market, for sure, we find some names. In my opinion, we don't need to bring many players. "When I speak with the agents of the players, everyone wants to come or stay. So this is important. The image of the club is still good. We are proud because Barcelona is still such a big club, and the way we are playing football makes players want to come." ‌ Wirtz approval Liverpool's Fenway Sports Group (FSG) ownership have sanctioned the prospect of a British record bid to sign Florian Wirtz, according to reports. The Reds could now make a £118m bid for the Germany ace, a larger fee than Chelsea paid for former Liverpool target Moises Caicedo. The Anfield side are said to preparing to make their third offer in the coming days having twice not met Bayer Leverkusen's demands.
