Former Lady Vols coach Kellie Harper to provide analysis of SEC basketball tournament
Former Lady Vols coach Kellie Harper, who has made regular appearances on "SEC Now" this season, will be part of the SEC Network's coverage of the conference tournament. She'll join analysts Nikki Fargas, another former Lady Vols star player, and Steffi Sorensen on "SEC Now" with hosts Dari Nowkhah and Alyssa Lang.
The SEC Network studio desk is set up inside the arena for the SEC tournament, and coaches and players are interviewed live on "SEC Now" to preview matchups and after games.
No. 9 seed Tennessee (21-8) will face No. 16 seed Texas A&M (10-18) in the first game of the tournament Wednesday (11 a.m. ET, SEC Network) at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Harper's last SEC tournament coaching the Lady Vols ended in the semifinal against South Carolina. Tennessee nearly upset the Gamecocks during their undefeated championship season, but 6-foot-7 center Kamilla Cardoso hit a buzzer-beater 3-pointer to win the game.
Harper, who was fired in April 2024 after five seasons, began making appearances on "SEC Now" in December. She first provided analysis on her alma mater after Tennessee set the NCAA Division I record for 3-pointers in a game.
The tournament studio coverage from Greenville begins at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and on Friday it will start at 11:30 a.m. There will be additional semifinal coverage throughout the day on Saturday along with a special Championship Sunday postgame show starting at 8:30 p.m.

The Lady Vols are playing on the first day of the SEC tournament after failing to secure a bye with a loss to Georgia.
The Lady Vols lost two straight games to end the regular season, falling to the No. 9 seed, which is Tennessee's lowest seed in the SEC tournament since it began in 1980. The previous low was a No. 8 seed in 2019.

Coming to Alabama via junior college, Henry is an experienced player at the collegiate level, but much of that didn't come in the FBS. Westfields open league account with convincing home victory
WESTFIELDS got their season off to a flying start as they overcame Pershore Town 3-1 in their opening Hellenic League Premier Division fixture. On a good day for Danny Moon's side the signings of Jamie Clarke, Adam Saunston, George Clarke, Ben Johns and Dan Bufton were confirmed before the match. Fields quickly opened their league account courtesy of another summer signing Adam Sauntson. Aidan Clark hit the crossbar before Archie Muirhead was brought down, resulting in Bailey Fuller scoring from the penalty spot. Clark almost put the game to bed before the break, but headed Kane Kahaki's cross off-target. Following the break Mason Godsall went close before youngster Arwyn Walby fired into the side-netting. Godsall then turned provider as his free-kick was headed home by Cam Davies to seal the points. Pershore were rewarded for their efforts with a late goal but could not prevent Fields from a comfortable win. The win ended a summer of change at Allpay Park as Danny Moon took over as manager following the resignation of Nic Morgan. Fields' chief executive Andy Morris said: 'We were sorry to receive Nick Morgan's resignation, he did a good job for the two years in charge and we wish him well in the future. 'Danny Moon has been appointed and has a vast knowledge of the local scene and good experience at this level. 'He is an ex-Westfields player and is aware of the club's standards. We are excited with the squad Danny has assembled, he has good staff and everyone is keen for the new season. 'The Hellenic Premier is a very strong league again this season and l can envisage a good start being important as we want to be a challenging for a top six finish.' Westfields completed their pre-season preparations on Saturday with a 2-1 defeat against Southern League Premier League side Evesham United. Fields goalkeeper Jack Oxenham made two smart saves to keep the visitors at bay during the first half. Westfields then took the lead early in the second half when Bailey Fuller cut in from the right hand side and curled a shot past the goalkeeper. Oxenham could nothing to stop the visitors equaliser, courtesy of a header at the near post. Both sides then introduced substitutes for the final 15 minutes and Evesham snatched the lead with a cracking 25-yard pile driver from Ion Richards which flew into the top corner. Westfields came all out for an equaliser and Evesham survived some anxious moments in the last few minutes to win the game by a close margin of 2-1.
