Saiyaara, led by Ananya Panday's cousin Ahaan Panday, is making waves across theatres. The film, directed by Mohit Suri dubbed to be a master in heartbreak storytelling, also features Aneet Padda as the female lead.
From the intense performances to the soul-stirring songs, Saiyaara has hit the right chord with fans. The plot, touching on themes of deep love, loss and heartbreak, adds to the emotional depth.
So, if you have watched Saiyaara, felt it tug at your heartstrings and experienced a lump in your throat after leaving the theatres, then do not miss their top 10 intensely romantic movies. PS: Store lots of tissues beforehand.
Aashiqui 2 - Prime Video (2013)
This Mohit Suri classic will leave you in tears and bring a certain sense of peace by the end of it. The love story of Rahul (Aditya Roy Kapur) and Arohi (Shraddha Kapoor) trying to hold on to love while everything else falls apart will consume you completely. The hauntingly beautiful soundtrack adds to the drama.
Rockstar - Zee5 (2011)
Ranbir Kapoor breathed life into Jordan —a musician who discovers his true voice through pain. Jordan's equation with Heer (Nargis Fakhri) is messy, rebellious and sometimes heartbreakingly real. The film explores the extremities of love — how it can be both freeing and destructive.
Raanjhana - Zee5 (2013)
Raanjhana reminds you that love isn't perfect — it's chaotic, painful and sometimes tragically on-side. Kundan (Dhanush), a flawed, impulsive but sincere man from Varanasi, is obsessed with Zoya (Sonam Kapoor) even when she does not choose him, ultimately realising that love isn't about winning.
Ae Dil Hain Mushkil - Prime Video (2016)
Another depiction of one-sided love, Ae Dil Hain Mushkil, shows how unrequited love can be intensely agonising through its central characters Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) and Alizeh (Anushka Sharma). Yes, it is also a tale of forever friendships with a little reminder that 'pyaar dosti hai' literally.
Laila Majnu - Netflix (2018)
Qais (Avinash Tiwary) and Laila's (Triptii Dimri) story of doomed lovers is a journey through madness, longing and an ode to a love that transcends reality. Intense performances and a soul-soaked soundtrack add to the movie's beauty.
Sadma - YouTube (1983)
Sadma, featuring Kamal Haasan as Somu and Sridevi as Nehalata, is an unconventional romantic drama that teaches patience, selflessness and a quietly powerful love. When Nehalata regresses to childhood after an accident, Somu becomes her gentle guardian, eventually falling in love. But it's the climax scene that you will never be able to forget.
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak - YouTube (1988)
This Mansoor Khan directorial contains hard-hitting dialogues and pleasant tracks, filled with a raw intensity which makes the classic Bollywood trope interesting to watch. Raj (Aamir Khan) and Rashmi (Juhi Chawla), a passionate couple, navigate umpteen challenges to be with each other in a world that refuses to let them be.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Netflix (2004)
Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey's effortless chemistry makes this film extra special. The theme centres around the idea that even if we erase the pain of love, we are meant to feel it over and over again through shared emotions, laughter and even heartbreak.
Blue Valentine - Prime Video (2010)
The movie is an honest portrayal of modern-day love — how it begins with butterflies and flourishes into ecstasy but sometimes falls apart despite the best intentions. Dean (Ryan Gosling) and Cindy (Michelle Williams) are two such people who once shared an unbreakable bond but slowly they got distant, weighed down by time, unspoken wounds and disappointment.
The Notebook - Google Play (2004)
Based on a same-titled novel by Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster through the story of Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachael McAdams). They are madly in love one summer, fighting each other fiercely in the next, growing apart and yet finding their way back to each other. The movie also touches on the topic of Alzheimer's.
So, which one are you picking?

Actress Huma Qureshi's Juhu villa's monthly rental could be an engineer's annual package. Here's a glimpse of the lavish house

Bollywood siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem are living large in Mumbai's upscale Juhu neighbourhood, and their luxurious villa has caught the attention of fans — and even filmmaker Farah Khan, who recently featured it on her YouTube vlog. Located in the Equest Condominium on Juhu Tara Road, the bungalow, fittingly named Shukr, is not only massive but also dripping with personality, comfort, and refined taste. (Screenshot from Farah Khan's YouTube) Spanning over 3,370 square feet with an additional 2,654-square-foot basement, the villa boasts a swimming pool, a garden, a parking space for four cars, and expansive floors — including a 1,245 sq ft ground level, 1,011 sq ft first floor, and a 1,112 sq ft terrace. According to GQ India, the rental agreement for the villa was registered on February 25, 2025, with a whopping Rs 30 lakh security deposit and a five-year tenure starting from March 20. Hindustan Times adds that the agreement includes a 48-month lock-in period and a 10% rent hike after the first 36 months — a monthly rental figure so steep, it could rival the yearly income of many Indian engineers. Her video tour begins with a waiting area dressed in floral wallpaper, elegant white furniture, and curated wall art. Right outside lies a luxurious swimming pool, adding to the home's tranquil charm. Swimming Pool inside Huma Qureshi's house. Huma shared her love for art and how, previously, she could not afford it, but now, she and Saqib are happily investing in the pieces they admire. Dining area in Huma Qureshi's house. I don't think we'll find anything better than this.' The episode also offered a glimpse into their roots. Saqib spoke about their family-run restaurant, Saleem's, a Delhi favourite started by their father at the age of 17. Now 47 years old, the eatery remains a beloved legacy. Their mother, Ameena Qureshi, runs a salon called AMIQUR, blending the family's entrepreneurial spirit with creative flair.

The video, featuring Aneet in a red outfit twirling with joy, offers a playful side of the actress. What's more? Aneet's vibrant smile and playful energy have also won the fans, leaving everyone in awe. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ameet Padda Fanpage💙 (@aneetpadda15) Aneet Padda's Exciting Project According to Peeping Moon, Aneet Padda is set to star in the web series Nyaya, a compelling courtroom drama based on real-life events. Interestingly, Aneet had already wrapped up filming for Nyaya before Saiyaara, despite having signed an exclusive three-film contract with Yash Raj Films. 'Aneet is a big screen heroine for YRF. Nyaya was shot before she signed Saiyaara, and it has no bearing on her career trajectory as a theatrical heroine going forward. A girl who is delivering probably a 400 crore hit in theatres is a true Gen Z star at the age of just 22, and will be preserved for theatricals. There are huge plans to make her the face of a generation, and that can be achieved only by consolidating her theatrical equity," informed a trade source. Nyaya, directed by Nitya Mehra and produced alongside her husband Karan Kapadia, promises to spark conversations around faith, law, and justice. The series boasts an impressive cast, including Fatima Sana Shaikh as a determined police officer and Arjun Mathur in pivotal roles, with Aneet playing a 17-year-old girl fighting for justice after being sexually assaulted by a powerful spiritual leader. Meanwhile, Aneet Padda's acting journey took off with a small but impactful role in the 2022 film Salaam Venky, where she shared the screen with Kajol. Her breakthrough moment arrived with the Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don't Cry, where she landed her first lead role as Roohi Ahuja, showcasing her talent and versatility as an actress.
