Deepika Padukone and Spirit controversy
Bollywood meets South India's biggest stars in what's shaping up to be a cinematic storm. Deepika Padukone , fresh off her high-profile roles, has officially joined forces with director Atlee and Telugu superstar Allu Arjun for the upcoming mega-project currently titled AA22xA6 . This collaboration is not only packed with star power but also promises to push creative and visual boundaries, roping in top Hollywood VFX giants to craft what many are already calling a global spectacle. The announcement came on June 7, with a striking video shared by Sun Pictures . It shows Padukone deep in discussion with Atlee before transforming into her battle-ready avatar on set, adorned in dramatic costume and headgear. The production house captioned it fittingly: 'The Queen marches to conquer!'This marks Padukone's second outing with Atlee after Jawan and her first-ever collaboration with Pushpa star Allu Arjun, sparking huge excitement across fanbases. But the buzz doesn't stop at the cast. Hollywood VFX veterans—including James Madigan (Iron Man 2), Mike Elizalde (Spectral Motion), Justin Raleigh (Fractured FX), and William Write Anderson (Lola VFX), have heaped praise on the script, calling it mind-bending and packed with limitless creative possibilities. With filming set to begin later this year, AA22xA6 is aiming for nothing short of a global audience. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.Deepika Padukone's reported exit from Spirit, directed by Animal filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has stirred major buzz. According to GreatAndhra, the fallout was driven by creative and professional clashes, ranging from her request for an 8-hour workday and a hefty Rs 20 crore fee with profit share, to her alleged reluctance to speak Telugu for the role. Tensions reportedly peaked, leading Vanga to recast the lead. While no names were mentioned, Vanga's emotional post on X about a betrayal and 'dirty PR games' seemed to hint at the situation. Soon after, Triptii Dimri was confirmed as the new lead, intensifying the speculation.

Aamir Khan breaks silence on his fallout with Ram Gopal Varma after Rangeela: ‘I'm sure I'll miss him as a director'

The 1995 cult hit Rangeela, directed by Ram Gopal Varma and starring Aamir Khan , marked a turning point in Hindi cinema with its unique storytelling, vibrant visuals, and chart-topping music by A.R. Rahman. While the film garnered both commercial and critical acclaim, a behind-the-scenes controversy left a lasting impact on the relationship between its lead actor and director, one that led to the two never working together again. During an interaction with fans on Rediff, Aamir Khan was asked about the much-talked-about rift with Ram Gopal Varma. A fan wrote, 'What went wrong between you and Ram Gopal Verma? He is a terrific director and you would only stand to gain by your friendship!!' In response, Khan said, 'Ram Gopal Varma and I never did share a friendship, and I'm SURE I'll miss him as a director.' The controversy that caused the rift The fallout reportedly began when Varma made a comment during the shoot of Rangeela, referencing a scene that featured a waiter. He remarked that the actor playing the waiter gave a better performance than Aamir Khan in that specific scene. The comment, which was meant as a technical critique on scene dynamics, was misquoted and perceived as a dig at Khan's acting. Due to limited communication avenues at the time, Khan was unable to clarify the context directly with Varma. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Test gratuit pentru intoleranțe sau alergeni.
