Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud vs Coop Original Adjustable: Which pillow for stomach sleeping should you buy?

Type: Tempur foamPrice: from $89 at Tempur-PedicBest for: Stomach and back sleepersSizes: Queen and KingTrial: N/AWarranty: 5 yearsShipping: Free Type: Memory foam and microfiber blendPrice: from $85 at Coop Sleep GoodsBest for: All sleepersSizes: Queen and KingTrial: 100 nightsWarranty: 5 yearsShipping: Free Experts often say that stomach sleeping is the unhealthiest sleep position because of how it strains your body, for periods of up to eight hours or longer. But what if you're a natural stomach sleeper? The best mattresses for stomach sleepers are designed to maintain a healthy spinal alignment, minimizing the risk of getting back pain and aches due to a compromised sleeping position. However, it is crucial to pair it up with a mid or low loft pillow, as sleeping with your head at the wrong angle can quickly strain your neck muscles, leading to pain and, potentially, serious injury. In your search for a decent pillow that supports your stomach sleeping position, you might be tossing up between the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud and Coop Original Adjustable — two plush fan favorites currently holding a spot each in our guide to the best pillows of the year. Here, we'll compare them against key performance indicators like price, comfort and support. Let's get started... Both the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud and Coop Original are the most affordable pillows from their respective brands, and there isn't a great difference in price between the two. The Tempur-Cloud is available in two sizes: queen and king. The queen is priced at $89 while a king will cost you $109. The brand often runs a bundle sale on all pillows that drops the price of two queen Tempur-Cloud pillows from $178 to $119. Besides this standard deal, we've previously seen the Tempur-Cloud with up to 64% off and on a 'buy one get one free' sale during events like Memorial Day and Black Friday, which drops the price of a queen to $56.96. It's also worth looking up the Tempur-Cloud on Amazon, where you'll regularly find it at a lower price than at the Tempur store. However, unlike other pillows in the market, the Tempur-Cloud does not include a sleep trial, however you get a 5-year warranty and free shipping. The Coop Original Adjustable comes in three shape variants and two sizes: queen and king. The classic Original Adjustable is the cheapest of the lot starting from $85 for a queen while a king is priced at $99. The Coop Original is usually up to 20% off during major sale events which reduces the price of a queen to $68. And unlike the Tempur-Cloud, the Original Adjustable from Coop comes with a 100-night sleep trial as well as a 5-year warranty and free shipping. Considering both price and deals, the Coop Original seems to be the clear winner here, but let's continue to look at the other differences in detail. While both include memory foam, the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud and Coop Adjustable are remarkably different in terms of design and build. The Tempur-Cloud consists of a single slab of extra soft Tempur foam encased in a hypoallergenic quilted polyester cover. The 5-inch tall pillow features gusseted sides that ensure it has an even height across the surface. You can find the Tempur-Cloud in two sizes (queen and king), with an option for hot sleepers to choose a cooling upgrade (at an additional cost of $20). The Coop Original Adjustable has a fully customizable memory foam and microfiber fill. It's a medium-soft to medium-firm pillow that comes with a half-pound bag of additional fill, so you can fluff it up or remove some to suit your sleeping position and preferences. It comes in a Lulltra fabric (a blend of polyester and bamboo-derived viscose) cover, which is stretchy, soft, breathable and machine-washable. One concern stomach sleepers might face with the Coop Original is the lack of a precise guide to the amount of fill to be added or removed for a particular sleeping style. This can result in multiple trial and error attempts, until you find what works for you. In terms of design, we think that out of the box, the Tempur-Cloud is a more suitable stomach sleeping pillow than the Coop Original. Our stomach sleeping tester was impressed by how the Tempur-Cloud kept her neck aligned with the spine, delivering both support and pressure relief. The mid to low loft Tempur-Cloud was effective in keeping her head from tilting upwards, which is often the issue when using pillows that are too tall. The temperature regulation, on the other hand, is a little lacking. She recommends hot sleepers to go for the cooling upgrade, as the Tempur foam has a tendency to trap heat. Considering all the factors, it was awarded an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars in our Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud pillow review. In our review we concluded that this is an ideal pillow for all sleeping positions. Our combination sleeping tester (back and side), found it to be a plush and contouring headrest in every position. The key to making it work for you is to try and adjust the fill, which can be tricky to get right immediately. However, one disadvantage of the Coop Original is that it requires constant fluffing up to maintain its support and shape. It tends to flatten easily and hence might lack enough support for stomach sleeping all night. Like the Tempur-Cloud, the Coop also has a tendency to retain heat. Our tester points out in the Coop Original Adjustable Pillow review that hot sleepers are better off choosing the cooling alternative offered by the brand: the Cool+ Adjustable Pillow. Considering overall performance, we think the Tempur-Cloud does better when it comes to delivering the right balance of comfort and support for stomach sleeping. ✅ You're a stomach sleeper: The mid-loft Tempur-Cloud minimizes any risk to your neck while stomach sleeping and relieves any built-up tension. ✅ You struggle with neck pain: If you're a back sleeper who experiences neck pain, the mid-loft Tempur-Cloud offers the right comfort and support to soothe any aches or discomfort. ✅ You need a portable pillow: Our tester was impressed by how you can pack up and compress your Tempur-Cloud, due to its travel-friendly design. ✅ You're a combination sleeper: The Coop Original is ideal for anyone who is not a dedicated stomach sleeper and shifts their position during the night. ✅ You want a pillow with a sleep trial: Coop is a bedding brand that sets the bar high for pillow benefits with a 100-night sleep trial, 5-year warranty and free shipping. ✅ You need customizable firmness: Thanks to the adjustable fill, you can change the firmness and feel of your Coop pillow to suit your sleeping preferences.

Memorial Day Sale Still Live: Last Chance to Enjoy a Flat 35% Sitewide Discount at Nolah

Sales events like Memorial Day are a great time to save on some big-ticket items, like new tech gadgets and appliances. Another category that sees major price drops during this time is mattresses. The holiday weekend officially wrapped up yesterday, but if you didn't get a chance to invest in your sleep for less while the event was live, we have good news. Some deals are still available, including 35% off sitewide at Nolah. Plus, select mattress purchases come with two free pillows. However, since Memorial Day is officially over, this sale will likely end soon. Nolah makes some of the absolute best soft mattresses on the market, which makes them an excellent option if you're a side sleeper. In particular, our experts recommend the Nolah Original for those on a tight budget. The queen-size typically sells for $1,449, but it's currently on sale for just $942, which saves you more than $500. There's also the Nolah Evolution Hybrid, which is our overall favorite soft mattress this year, thanks to its plush pillow top and zoned support. The queen size is currently $744 off, which drops the price to just $1,383. Both of these mattresses also come with a free pair of pillows, a $149 value. Tons of other mattresses are on sale, as well as discounts on bases, pillows, sheets and toppers. Why these deals matter Nolah's mattresses are already some of our favorites for those on a tight budget, so a chance to pick one up for hundreds off the usual price is a can't-miss bargain if you're shopping for a new bed. These are excellent options for those who sleep on their side or just prefer a cushier sleep experience, and they're 35% off right now. Just be sure to hurry, since the sale might not last much longer.

Tempur-Pedic's Memorial Day sale just got exciting — save up to $1,300 with the adjustable base bundle

I've been paying close attention to Tempur-Pedic this Memorial Day and my vigilance has been rewarded with this dreamy deal for sleepers with joint pain — 40% off the Tempur-Cloud mattress and Ease Power Base at Tempur-Pedic. That brings a queen down to $2,198.40 (was $2,998). That's a huge $799.60 saving. Crafted using NASA foams, Tempur-Pedic beds are known for their pressure-relieving feel that puts them among the best mattresses you can buy online. The addition of the Ease Power Base adds another layer of space-age comfort; zero gravity positioning. Lifting the head and the feet, this sleep position is used to achieve a weightless, no pressure feel to minimize pain. Let's explore why this is one of my top picks in the Memorial Day mattress sales 2025... Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud Mattress + Ease Power Base: twin was $2,598 now $1,918.40 at Tempur-PedicThe Tempur-Cloud mattress is an all-foam mattress made using multiple layers of iconic Tempur Material to create a body-hugging feel. In our Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud mattress review we praised the "great pressure relief", noting how the foams contour to the joints to relieve aches and pains. Bundling your mattress with an Ease Power Base helps enhance that pain relief, raising the head and the feet to reduce pressure on the spine as you sleep. For ultimate relaxation, try the zero gravity position. Purchasing the two together saves you 40%, reducing a queen size to $2,198.40 (was $2,998) plus you get a $200 instant gift — simply add any Tempur-Pedic sleep accessories under $200 to your cart to get them for free. Our review (mattress only): ★★★½User score (mattress only): ★★★★½ (3,000+ reviews) I'm used to seeing 30% off the Tempur-Cloud mattress in the Tempur-Pedic mattress sales but this Memorial Day 'sitebuster' saving is much rarer. When you purchase the Tempur-Cloud mattress with an Ease Power Base, you can save 40% off the entire purchase. This is the biggest percentage discount I've ever seen on the Tempur-Cloud. And as an added bonus, today you get a $200 instant gift as well. To make the most of this offer, select any sleep accessories that take your fancy and add them to your cart. Tempur-Pedic will automatically take off $200 — might I suggest the Tempur-Cloud Dual Cooling pillow? Tempur-Pedic has even upped the benefits. As well as the 90-night trial and 10-year warranty (standard with the Tempur-Cloud mattress) you can also claim free white glove delivery with your power base purchase. Nectar Adjustable Comfort Classic Bundle: twin XL from $1,148 at NectarNectar's Adjustable Comfort Bundle pairs an adjustable bed base with the Nectar mattress of your choice. For shoppers on a budget, our Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress review team recommend this mid-range model which, combined with the head and foot elevation of the base, offers excellent support to back sleepers. A queen costs $1,298 in the Nectar mattress sale and comes with a 365-night trial and lifetime warranty. Unlike the Tempur-Cloud bundle this deal is nothing new but the price is still special. Our review (mattress only): ★★★★½User score (mattress only): ★★★★½ (50,000+ reviews) More top sales to consider
