Last Updated:
Each donor can bring up to two guests to experience the elaborate set of Beast Games Season 2, a private Q&A with the production crew, and a visit to the charity's food pantry.
Popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is currently hogging headlines for his unique and creative way of raising funds for charity. In his latest charitable effort that has stirred both excitement and criticism across social media, the 27-year-old YouTuber offered fans a rare, behind-the-scenes experience of his North Carolina studio. But there's a catch. To have this once-in-a-lifetime experience, one has to donate $100,000 (around Rs 85 lakhs) to his nonprofit, Beast Philanthropy. Yes, you read that right.
The American content creator announced that the first 40 donors contributing the six-figure sum will be invited to an exclusive three-day event from June 27 to 29. Each donor can bring up to two guests to experience this VIP tour which will include access to the elaborate set of Beast Games Season 2, a private Q&A with the production crew, and a visit to the charity's food distribution center.
In the announcement post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the YouTuber wrote, 'Want a tour of the city for Beast Games season 2 and all the massive sets we're building?? I'm going to personally show around people who donate $100,000 to Beast Philanthropy! I have some big charity projects I want to fund, so I think it's a win/win."

The move has sparked mixed reactions online, with some questioning the steep donation threshold. Till now, the post has raked in more than 8 lakh views.
'Why do rich people always ask for money? I never understood that," stated a user.
An account remarked, 'Ah yes, modern philanthropy – where the rich pay $100k for a VIP tour while the poor get a 15-second clip of someone getting a free house. Capitalism with extra steps and better lighting."
'We aren't you, MrBeast we don't get that kind of money," wrote an individual.
'Haha, $100,000 for a tour? I'll start saving my pennies—see you in about 1,000 years, MrBeast!"
The fundraising initiative comes on the heels of Amazon Prime Video renewing Beast Games for two additional seasons. The high-stakes reality show, featuring 1,000 contestants competing for a record $5 million (Rs 50 lakhs) prize, quickly became Prime Video's most-watched unscripted series. In just 25 days of its debut, the show has amassed more than 50 million views.

MCX gets SEBI nod to launch electricity derivatives
The Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to launch electricity derivatives. Backed by both SEBI and Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), this move aims to help power generators, distributors, and large consumers hedge price risks and manage volatility. It is a big push for efficiency in the power market and aligns with Indias goal of becoming a developed, energy-secure nation. Praveena Rai, MD & CEO, MCX, said: "The introduction of electricity derivatives marks a pivotal development in Indias commodities ecosystem. These contracts will offer participants a reliable, transparent, and regulated platform to manage power price risks, which are becoming more dynamic due to renewables and market-based reforms. With Indias growing focus on renewable energy and open access power markets, electricity derivatives can serve as a vital bridge between the physical and financial sectors." MCX is India's leading commodity derivatives exchange with a market share of about 98% in terms of the value of commodity futures contracts traded in financial year 2024-25. It offers trading in a diverse range of commodities, spanning multiple segments including bullion, energy, metals and agri commodities, as well as sectoral commodity indices. On a consolidated basis, MCX's net profit rose 54.16% to Rs 135.46 crore while net sales rose 60.83% to Rs 291.33 crore in Q4 March 2025 over Q4 March 2024.

'Lonely' Prince Harry in California has only bodyguards for company
Prince Harry may be living in a $14 million Italian-style mansion in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, but life behind closed doors is reportedly far from perfect for the Duke of Sussex. According to NewsNation, which cited unnamed sources close to the royal, Prince Harry is feeling 'desperately lonely,' cut off from long-time friends and family, and struggling to form close relationships in the US. 'He doesn't really have any real friends in the area except for polo star Nacho Figueras, and Nacho travels constantly for matches," a friend told the outlet. 'He spends a lot of his time chilling with his bodyguards." Though Harry remains close to a few old friends from the UK, such as Guy Pelly and Mark Dyer, the time difference and distance have made regular contact difficult. 'There's no one else for him to hang out with besides Nacho, Meghan, and the children," the source added. The report also said that since stepping down from royal duties in 2020, Harry's social circle has grown smaller. 'It's hard to forge deep friendships when you're older especially when you're wary of people leaking things to the press," one insider noted. A friend even compared Harry's current situation to that of his great-great-uncle Edward VIII, who gave up the throne for love and lived abroad. 'It's like history is repeating itself," the friend said. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle reportedly wishes Harry could move on. 'Meghan wishes her husband could feel less burdened by the past and more present in the life they've built together,' a source told *People* magazine. Prince Harry's Life in California Compared to Edward VIII's Exile Prince Harry's current situation is drawing comparisons to that of his great-great-uncle, Edward VIII, who abdicated the British throne to marry Wallis Simpson and spent the rest of his life abroad, largely distanced from the royal family. A source told NewsNation, 'It's like history is repeating itself,' referring to Harry's estrangement from King Charles and Prince William and his life away from royal duties in the United States. However, unlike Edward and Wallis, Harry and Meghan have remained in the public eye through media projects, including Netflix shows, books, and public appearances. The Duke of Sussex is said to be struggling with loneliness, having left behind most of his social circle in the UK. Though still close to long-time friends like Guy Pelly and Mark Dyer—who also have American wives—they are based in Texas and Virginia, making regular meetings rare. 'It's harder to forge deep friendships with people when you're older, especially if you're wary they may speak to the press,' a friend was quoted as saying. Harry is also reportedly upset about delays in securing British passports for his children, Archie and Lilibet. According to reports, he even sought advice from his uncle, Earl Spencer, about possibly adopting his late mother Princess Diana's surname. While he ultimately did not go with 'Spencer', the Sussexes are said to have dropped 'Mountbatten-Windsor' and now quietly use 'Sussex' as their family name. A source told People magazine, 'Meghan wishes her husband could feel less burdened by the past and more present in the life they've built together.'
