One dead after crash on John Deere Road
One person is dead after a crash on John Deere Road in Moline yesterday.
According to a news release from the Moline Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of 70th Street and John Deere Road on February 25 at about 1:29 p.m. about a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and tandem axle Mack truck.
A 2010 Ford F150, driven by 24 yr old man, was heading east on John Deere Road, in the middle through lane. As the driver approached a green light at the intersection of 70th Street, he rear-ended the Mack truck. The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
An email from Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson says the driver of the Ford has been identified as Logan A. Reyes, 24, of Davenport. The cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries due to a two-vehicle accident.
The death is considered an open and ongoing investigation by the Moline Police Department's Accident Reconstruction Unit and the Rock Island County Coroner's Office.

Orbeez gun leads to aggravated assault arrest in Siloam Springs
Siloam Springs, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Gentry man was arrested on May 31 after allegedly pointing a toy gun at a woman in Siloam Springs, according to court documents. Donnovan Hayes, 18, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault. No formal charges have been filed as of June 5. According to a probable cause affidavit, police responded around 4:31 p.m. to a report of an individual with a gun in Siloam Springs. Officers found gray Ford Fusion matching the suspect vehicle description at the scene. After being briefly held at gunpoint, all three occupants in the Ford were detained without incident. A white object resembling a firearm, later identified as an Orbeez gun, fell from the vehicle as one person exited, according to the affidavit. An alleged victim, parked nearby, told police the front passenger, Hayes, pointed what appeared to be a gun at them, leaving her and her children frightened. According to the affidavit, that Hayes denied pointing the gun at the victim. Ormond Beach biker, 60, killed when car pulls in front of him on S.R. 415
An Ormond Beach motorcyclist was killed this morning when he slammed into a sedan that pulled in front of him on State Road 415, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The 60-year-old Ormond Beach man was heading south on State Road 415 on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a Ford Fusion pulled out in front of him at Fort Smith Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The motorcycle hit the left side of the Ford, which was driven by a 48-year-old Deltona man. First responders took the 60-year-old to HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, but authorities pronounced him dead at the hospital. The driver of the Fusion had serious injuries, and first responders took him to the same hospital. The crash happened about 7:16 a.m., and the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating. Authorities have cleared the roadblock at the intersection. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. Driver killed when vehicle hits forklift
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A driver was killed and two passengers were hurt in a crash early Wednesday morning in the Barrio Logan neighborhood. The collision occurred around 2:04 a.m. at 1200 Harbor Drive, according to the San Diego Police Department. The 24-year-old man was driving his 2023 Ford F150 southbound on Harbor Drive when the vehicle drove through road close barriers at Park Boulevard and Harbor Drive, authorities said.
