He later travelled down south to complete the first leg of the walk.Two years on from their challenge, documentary The Two Of Us is to be screened at the Raindance Film Festival, which starts in London on Wednesday.Mr Edwards said: "You'll see that when times get really tough, as long you keep going and you keep having that little bit of hope and a bit of strength behind you, and the willingness to carry on and never give up, then you will come out alright the other side."He took on the walk before the trial of gunman Connor Chapman who was jailed for a minimum of 48 years after being found guilty of Ms Edwards' murder.Mr Edwards said: "I've been through the worst hell you can imagine, there's not a lot else that could really turn me."For Mr Edwards, the documentary is part of his aim to create a positive legacy for his daughter.He said: "It was always about keeping Elle's name alive. "So whenever Elle's name was mentioned, it would be mentioned in a positive way and not about what happened to her. "That was the goal and still is, it will always be the goal."
Mr May, 43, who produced the feature-length documentary, said he hoped people would be inspired.The actor said the film is "about brotherhood more than anything I'd say."

Bournemouth air and sea search for missing nine-year-old girl
Lifeboats and a coastguard helicopter are searching for a nine-year-old girl who has gone missing in a seaside was last seen in the area of Bournemouth Pier at around 12:30 BST, Dorset Police is described by officers as black, with braided hair, and was last seen wearing a black and pink floral Coastguard said it was informed at about 13:50 and deployed a search and rescue helicopter, coastguard rescue teams and RNLI lifeboats from Mudeford, Poole and Swanage. Insp Robin Morgan said: "We are growing concerned for Salimatou's welfare and are carrying out searches to try and locate her."I would urge anyone who has seen Salimatou, or a child matching the description given, to please get in touch." Man arrested after Bournemouth footballer reported racist abuse at match
A man has been arrested following reports that a Bournemouth football player was racially abused during the first Premier League game of the season. AFC Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo reported being racially abused by a spectator during the opening match against Liverpool. Match referee Anthony Taylor stopped play in the 29th minute on Friday and a man, 47, was ejected from Anfield stadium. A 47-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence and has been taken into custody to be interviewed, Merseyside Police said. Chief Inspector Kev Chatterton, match commander for the Liverpool versus Bournemouth game, said on Friday: 'Merseyside Police will not tolerate hate crime of any form. 'We take incidents like this very seriously, and in cases like this we will be proactively seeking football banning orders, with the club, against those responsible.' He added: 'There is no place for racism and it is vital that anyone who witnesses such an offence reports it to stewards, or the police, immediately so we can take the necessary action like we did this evening. 'As with all matches, we work very closely with both Liverpool and Everton FC to ensure the safety of the public and the players.' A spokesperson for Liverpool Football Club said: 'Liverpool Football Club is aware of an allegation of racist abuse made during our Premier League game against Bournemouth. 'We condemn racism and discrimination in all forms, it has no place in society, or football. 'The club is unable to comment further as tonight's alleged incident is the subject of an ongoing police investigation, which we will support fully.'
