The wait is over. Ludwig Ahgren has revealed the official lineup for Streamer Games 2025, and the internet can't stop buzzing. The two-day track and field showdown will bring together some of the biggest names in streaming, YouTube, and gaming for a weekend of pure chaos, competition, and content gold.
Set for August 16–17, 2025, the event will take place at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California, with fans able to attend in person. It's a rare chance to watch your favorite creators swap their gaming chairs for running spikes.

Before the dust could settle, Ludwig took to X with breaking news: Team Cinna had traded QTCinderella to Team Vanillamace in exchange for Emiru. But the 'deal' didn't stop there. The playful trade 'package' reportedly included:
A hug
A kiss?
Tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash

Naturally, fans flooded comment sections debating who 'won' the trade, while others pointed out that only in Ludwig's universe could hugs and concert tickets be official bargaining chips.

This isn't just about athleticism; it's about watching internet personalities try to sprint, jump, and throw things without pulling a muscle or breaking character. Past editions of Streamer Games have delivered everything from unintentional bloopers to surprisingly serious rivalries.
With so many fan-favorite creators in one place, the memes will write themselves, the rivalries will heat up, and at least one person is guaranteed to trip over a hurdle in front of thousands of viewers.
Streamer Games 2025 kicks off August 16, but the roster reveal has already set the tone: expect friendly chaos, questionable athletic form, and some of the funniest internet moments of the summer, all under the California sun.

‘Failure of Alia Bhatt's Jigra did not shock us,' says Karan Johar as recalls being ‘disappointed' by the film's fate at the box office

Despite opening to widely favourable reviews and eventually making it onto several distinguished 'best Indian/Bollywood movies of 2024' lists, director Vasan Bala's action thriller Jigra, featuring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in the lead roles, ended up being a massive box-office bomb. Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 80 crore, the movie ended up making only Rs 56 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, delivering a heavy blow to the makers. Although disappointed by the outcome, producer Karan Johar, recently revealed that he does not regret making the movie. He went one step further and maintained that he was, in fact, 'proud of the film'. Describing Vasan's 'syntax' as individualistic and brilliant, Karan stated that he is one of the finest minds working in Bollywood now. 'Jigra had a certain syntax that was not quintessentially mainstream. We had realised that when we watched the movie. But we all believed in it together. None of us were not on the same page. We knew what we were going for. Yes, we were hoping against hope that it would find a wider audience… but we all understand it,' he shared during a chat with Suchin Mehrotra on his YouTube channel. Karan further expressed hope that the filmmaker would continue on the same path, creating films he truly believed in. 'Vasan's meta-referencing, quirks and style of absolutely breaking the grammar of filmmaking, such things may not always land, right? But should he stop making films like this because of that? No! He must always make films that he believes in,' he stated. Mentioning that he would love to collaborate with Vasan Bala again, Karan said he would gladly agree to produce another project helmed by the filmmaker, no questions asked, regardless of Jigra's outcome. He added, 'I really believe in him.' Karan continued, 'Yes, we were disappointed, dejected and sad. But we are all very proud of that film, even today. Even now, we have a group comprising Vasan, me and Alia. Vasan has a brilliant self-deprecating sense of humour. He will make fun of himself in the most unique way possible. We still send messages on that group. I do believe that a decade or two later, we will reference Jigra as something that broke ground, something that Alia, Vasan and the rest of us were so brave to do. 'I'm very proud of Jigra. There are films that I'm not proud of. This film may have failed at the box office, but to me and our studio, it's a success story. Yes, every film is flawed; we can discuss and analyse those flaws. But did it shock us when the film failed? No, we understood it, and we did discuss it. We were pragmatic enough to know that we could be in a hit-miss zone; that we may hit the bullseye or we might miss it. We were self-aware. So, its outcome did not come to us as a devastating shock to any of us,' he added.

Aamir Khan Watches Sitaare Zameen Par With Jawans, Video Goes Viral

Aamir Khan has adopted the pay-per-view model on his YouTube channel for his latest film, Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par has won praises from all corners. He recently made headlines after a heartwarming video of him watching the film with Indian Army jawans surfaced on social media. The clip, which quickly went viral, shows the actor enjoying the film alongside soldiers, sharing smiles, laughter. In the video, shared by Viral Bhayani, we can see Aamir Khan enjoying watching film with jawans on YouTube. The video has been winning hearts on the internet. The film tells the inspiring story of a coach who trains a basketball team made up of neurodivergent children. The film features Aamir Khan in the lead role, alongside Genelia Deshmukh. Its blend of sports drama and social message resonated with audiences and translated into a positive box office performance. Watch the video here: How Aamir Khan Chooses Films 'I am not a fearless person. Before the release, you can't assume the film will work, at least my films. There were exceptions like Ghajini and Dhoom 3, where you could say yeh kuch toh karegi. But with the unusual ones, it's difficult to tell. I go with my instinct and my heart. So, I am not thinking about what the audience wants to see. I am thinking mujhe kya banana hai," he said. Why Is Aamir Khan Betting on Pay-Per-View? Aamir Khan has adopted the pay-per-view model on his YouTube channel for his latest film, Sitaare Zameen Par. After its theatrical release in June, the movie is now available online for Rs 100 per view. Reflecting on this approach, Aamir stated, 'We are able to reach only 2-3 per cent of our population in the theatrical business, and this is for the biggest hit. For a film like Sitaare Zameen Par, around one crore people would have watched it by the end of its theatrical run. In the absence of enough theatres being built, this model is perhaps the only way to reach the vast majority of India, especially with rising internet penetration." Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par tells the heartwarming story of Gulshan Arora (played by Aamir Khan), a hot-headed basketball coach assigned to train a team of adults with intellectual disabilities. What starts as a punishment soon transforms into a journey of acceptance, growth, and inclusion. The film is a spiritual sequel to 2007's Taare Zameen Par and is an official Hindi adaptation of the Spanish hit Campeones. Aamir Khan's Coolie: Aamir Khan will be making special appearance in Rajinikanth's Coolie which is releasing on August 14. At a recent pre-release event, the Sitaare Zameen Par star opened up about what drew him to the project—and his answer is pure admiration. In a candid confession, Aamir revealed that Coolie marks the first time in his career he signed a film without hearing a single line of narration. 'Lokesh came to meet me. I didn't know why he was coming to meet me. He said, 'It's for Coolie. I want you to do a role in the film.' The moment I got to know it's Coolie and Rajini Sir's film… after many, many years, probably for the first time, I have said yes to a film without hearing the script, without hearing anything," Aamir shared. The film is set for a grand Independence Day weekend release, where it will clash with Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan's War 2—making August 14 one of the year's biggest days at the box office. view comments First Published: August 13, 2025, 19:26 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
