Billionaire heiress Francesca Packer cuts a casual figure as she strolls hand-in-hand with rarely seen boyfriend Robert Bates in Sydney

Daily Mail26-05-2025

Billionaire heiress Francesca Packer has been spotted on a rare outing with her boyfriend Robert Bates.
Francesca, who is the granddaughter of the late Kerry Packer and daughter of Gretel Packer and English financier Nick Barham, lives a notoriously private life, however she broke cover on Saturday as she and her partner of two and a half years stepped out in Sydney.
The couple cut casual figures as they enjoyed a stroll hand-in-hand around Potts Point in the Eastern Suburbs.
The 30-year-old heiress ditched her usual dressy attire for a white RVCA x Benjamin Jean Jean hoodie, which she paired with black leggings as she took to the streets.
She finished off the laidback fit with a pair of black slides, as well as large sunglasses in an attempt to go incognito.

Francesca, who is usually adorned with enough jewels and bling to make eyes water, presented a pared back look with not so much as a necklace in sight, but did add a pop of colour to her ensemble with maroon red nails.
Her boyfriend, who formerly made the Australian Financial Review's Young Rich List with an estimated net worth of $145 million, wore a knitted crew neck jumper in an olive green hue.
He layered the sweater over an easy white tee and linen, drawstring pants, matching his jumper with a pair of green suede sneakers by Dolce and Gabbana.
The business owner wore his locks in his signature windswept do as he walked alongside his billionaire girlfriend while seemingly glued to his phone.
Francesca and Robert began dating in 2022 and confirmed their romance in December of that year after they were spotted kissing on the deck of a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour.
The pair are said to have been introduced by PR maven and Sydney socialite Roxy Jacenko, who was Francesca' publicist for a stint.
She reportedly 'fell head over heels' for the divorced father and even 'confided to friends her desire to start a family' with him.'
Robert is the CEO of failed wellness brands Aurum+ and Aquamamma and the founder of 7 Trinity Biotech.
In December, no expense was spared for Francesca's birthday party as she rang in her 30th year.
The billionaire heiress hosted a dress up shindig at upmarket eatery Mimi's in Coogee with an A-list guest list.
Among the celebrities joining the event was influencer Indy Clinton, who came dressed as Pamela Anderson in her Baywatch days, donning a blonde wig and red swimsuit.
Former host of The Project Lisa Wilkinson was also among the glitterati but skipped the fancy dress memo and opted for a chic, loose black suit.
Norwegian singer Adelén was in tow, opting to dress up as Julia Roberts in the classic romantic comedy Pretty Woman.
Francesca, who was dressed in a Wednesday Adams costume, held court with her boyfriend Robert.
Also coming along to celebrate the occasion was her grandmother, Roslyn, and her mother, Gretel.
Bella Wolfgang Clinton likewise in attended, sharing glimpses inside the party which had oysters and pasta on offer.
Social media posts shared by attendees showed the party people enjoying caviar and champagne and partying until the wee hours.
The socialites and celebrities mingled through the evening, taking fun bathroom selfies and dancing wildly as the night wore on.

Sydney Sweeney exudes glamour while arriving to GMA after breaking silence on her split from Jonathan Davino

Sydney Sweeney was the epitome of chic while arriving to Good Morning America to promote her new psychological thriller, Echo Valley, with Julianne Moore. As she appeared on ABC's morning talk show, the Euphoria star, 27, radiated beauty in a sleeveless black vest, white miniskirt and knee-high black leather boots. During Wednesday's segment, she and Moore, 64, discussed their new movie, which was delayed by the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike. When asked what it was like playing Moore's on-screen daughter, Sweeney gushed it was 'a dream come true.' 'I feel terrible though because my character Claire's not the best daughter and she puts her mom through a lot,' the two-time Emmy nominee added. The hosts then shared a trailer of the movie, which began with Sweeney showing up to her estranged mother's home in the pouring rain covered in someone else's blood. Later in the episode Moore revealed she was 'thrilled' to be able to work with the Anyone but You actress, who she first saw in The White Lotus and thought was 'fantastic.' When asked about the plot, Sweeney kept the details vague as she teased it is about 'how far a mother would go for their own child.' After the anchors pressed her for an Euphoria update, the performer assured fans their 'favorite version' of her beloved character Cassie was 'coming back.' Sweeney smiled as she reflected on the privilege of returning to her breakout role for season three. 'It's such a dream being able to play a very emotionally raw and chaotic character; it's so much fun,' the Fifty-Fifty Films co-founder said. Sweeney's latest appearance comes after recently breaking her silence on her split from Jonathan Davino. When asked by The Times if she was still planning a wedding, she confirmed she was no longer engaged. 'I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it,' she said of the single life. She and Davino, 41, had been together since 2018 and got engaged in 2022. He was a producer on her successful romcom, Anyone But You, co-starring Glen Powell. She and the 36-year-old Texan had such chemistry in the film that many wandered if they were a couple at the time, especially since they decided to lean into the spark while promoting the movie. 'Glenn and I adore each other, so I think we were so happy for the reception of the film.' she said, seeming to shut down any idea of a love connection. 'When you spend so much time with someone, you become close and you talk to each other about anything. So work, life, family, friends, he's just there for me. I'm there for him.' For now, Sweeney is happy to share snuggles and go on outdoor activities with her dogs Sully Bear and Tank, work on restoring vintage cars, and create a real estate empire. She already owns multi-million dollar homes in Los Angeles, South Florida and the Pacific Northwest. 'I'm obsessed with Zillow,' she explained.

Footy star reveals the incredibly strict lifestyle changes that have left him in better shape now than when he was playing

Footy star Thomas Baulch, who is also the CEO of fitness company Prime Train, has opened up on the lifestyle changes he has made which have helped him improve his health, wellbeing and foster new friendships. Baulch is well known among footy circles for his Instagram account where he helps others get in the shape of their life. The fitness trainer, who has over 45,000 followers on his personal Instagram account, is also a well-established footballer, having played in the WAFL for East Perth, NEAFL and the VFL for Aspley and Port Melbourne. The footy player, who is often dubbed 'PrimeTrain' himself, regularly publishes clips of himself playing footy on social media, battling with opponents while kicking goals. As part of his fitness business, Baulch, a midfielder, has also had clients including Brownlow Medallists Patrick Cripps and Tom Mitchell. In recent weeks, the 21-year-old appears to have been enjoying a getaway in Bali with several friends. The Queenslander, who was born in Gladstone, shared a picture of himself enjoying a meal with two friends and fellow fitness coaches, Keenan Chapman and Ned Wagner. The trio grinned at the camera as they prepared to tuck into a delicious looking meal, while Baulch captioned the post: 'Final supper with the crew in Bali for a while. 'I've been on a journey this year... at the start of the year, I said to myself it was time to lock in. 'It was lonely for a while...' At the start of January, he also shared two pictures of his own body transformation, showcasing his shredded physique on his company's Instagram account, which also has 169,000 followers. And on Tuesday, he revealed the huge lifestyle changes he had made that have seen him improve his physical and mental wellbeing. 'No alcohol, no caffeine, no nicotine, no hookups, wake up at 5am every day, gym every day, no vaping, no processed food, no substances,' he said. 'I would rather sit with a few who get the real me than stand in a crowd that never did. 'Small circles win.' In March, it was announced that 'Prime Train' was now set to join up with Division Three club, The Basin in the Eastern League, with the footy star going on to make his debut for the club in May. 'Thomas is a perfect example of what hard work and dedication can do for you, and is a great role model for the younger generation coming through, with his educational social media videos providing constant and relevant information to those that follow him,' the Basin spokesperson said on Baulch. 'Admired by so many people already within our community, we couldn't resist the opportunity for Prime Train to don the red and green, and cannot wait for the opportunity for him to run out on May the 10th vs. Scoresby and show The Basin what a star he is.'

The Project stars are left utterly shocked as magician repeatedly reads their minds live on air: 'I feel sick!'

The stars of The Project were utterly dumbfounded when an illusionist repeatedly read their minds during Wednesday night's episode. Waleed Aly, Sam Taunton, Sarah Harris and Georgie Tunny were joined by Scottish magician Scott Silven, who tasked them with thinking of an object that would take them back to their childhood. They were then asked to name the age they experienced the object they were thinking of, or that was a significant year in their lives, and each age the hosts gave was written down. Silven asked Georgie to then reveal her memory - and she said it was of a lamington cake she had at her seventh birthday party. Throughout the trick, a gift box sat on the table, and when Silven opened it, the box contained a lamington, shocking the group. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Sam was asked what object he had thought of, he said a lotto ticket - and Silven pulled one out of the centre of the cake. When he presented the ticket, it featured the exact numbers the group had chosen. 'I feel sick!' Sam cried out, while Sarah chimed in, 'We need an old priest and a young priest in here, right now!' Silven did not reveal how he pulled the trick off, but the cast were absolutely shocked by the results. There was another show on the show when Peter Helliar was back on The Project on Tuesday night. The comedian, who sensationally quit the current affairs series in 2022, appeared alongside series regulars Waleed Aly, Sam Taunton, Sarah Harris and guest star Kate Langbroek. While fans of the show were happy to see Peter back behind the desk, he was just dropping by to promote his new children's book, Detective Galileo. Peter admitted he felt a little unusual sitting in a spot on the desk normally reserved for guests. Throughout the trick, a gift box sat on the table, and when Silven opened it, the box contained a lamington, shocking the group as Georgie Tunny admitted it was the item she had in mind Sam (right) was asked what object he had thought of, and he said a lotto ticket - Silven then pulled one out of the centre of the cake 'I used to be on this side of the desk, and then the last few times on that side, and now back on this side. I'm playing tennis with myself!' he joked. Peter explained that his three sons Liam, Oscar and Aiden 'are 22, 20 and 16' so no longer the target audience for his kid's books. 'I still sit at the edge of their bed and read to them' he joked. 'They are less interested to hear my ideas, but they love it and they are supportive. I try to get in touch with my own inner child rather than talk to my kids about it'. It's not the first time Peter has returned to the show since his departure. Last year, he appeared on the desk alongside Michael Hing, Max Rushden and Sarah Harris. The Project was rocked by two other high-profile exits in late 2022. Lisa Wilkinson announced she was quitting effective immediately, and long-time anchor Carrie confirmed her departure a month prior.
