With an estimated net worth of £4.7 million, a costly divorce has left Brown as the least wealthy of the Spice Girls. Sizeable as her fortune may be, it's fairly modest for a woman who comprised one fifth of the best-selling girl group of all time. Since bursting onto the music scene in 1996 with their hit single Wannabe, the group has sold over 100 million records worldwide. And while rumours of a Spice Girls reunion may be unfounded, let's hope Mel B continues to make sweet music with her latest husband, at least.

KFC and Greggs tease collaboration as fast food fans go into meltdown
KFC and Greggs fans are convinced the two food giants are set to join forces and create a fast food masterpiece Whether it's a sausage roll, a quarter pounder, or a cheeky chicken wrap, Brits love fast food from time to time. As long as we eat such treats in moderation, there is nothing wrong with indulging in some convenience food. And now, British fast food fans are salivating over the possibility of an unexpected collaboration that could soon arrive on high streets nationwide. The excitement follows bakery giant Greggs teasing a potential partnership with KFC on social media. Across both Instagram and TikTok, Greggs posted a short clip showing one of its legendary sausage rolls being held against a KFC outlet's signage. Set to The Sundays' hit Summertime with the lyrics: "It's you and me in the summertime," the post was captioned: "Oddly satisfying. Is this a sign?" The post sparked wild speculation amongst eager food enthusiasts about what a possible tie-up between the two brands might involve. Responding on Instagram, one user wondered: "KFC inspired Chicken bake? Instead of creamy sauce in the current chicken bake it'll be KFC gravy? A KFC and gravy style bake? I'm invested," reports the Mirror. Another person speculated: "Or... 'Chicken Bake Royale' - a buttery Greggs pastry filled with KFC's crispy chicken pieces, creamy gravy, and sweetcorn – finished with a flaky top crust. Like a chicken bake on steroids." A third pleaded: "Arghhhhh stop teasing! What is it? Zinger roll? Tell me now." Meanwhile, a fourth Instagram user proposed: "Sausage roll covered in KFC batter and fried to perfection and served with a KFC gravy based chippy curry sauce." And a fifth person proclaimed: "Okay, dipping a Greggs sausage roll in KFC's gravy (I realise while typing this it sounds a bit NSFW)... game changer." While both companies have yet to officially confirm any partnership, KFC replied to Greggs' "oddly satisfying" comment by simply saying: "I agree." Throwing more petrol on the flames, Greggs then responded: "Fancy seeing you here." This marks only Greggs' second major high street tie-up, following their 2022 collaboration with fashion retailer Primark to launch a clothing collection dubbed 'Tasty'. Rockstar Terry 'Superlungs' Reid who turned down Led Zeppelin dies aged 75
Iconic rocker Terry Reid, known as 'Superlungs' due to his powerful singing voice, has died at the age of 75. The singer, who famously turned down the chance to be in both Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, was forced to cancel a number of shows last month due to medical issues arising from recent treatment for cancer. It has now been confirmed that Reid has died due to complications from cancer. An announcement was shared on social media in early July, stating: 'Due to medical issues arising from recent treatment for cancer, Terry has had to postpone his autumn 2025 UK, Irish, and Norwegian tour. 'Terry is especially upset about this as his 2024 tour was so successful and he had been looking forward to playing some new towns and venues plus old faves, as well as his first ever dates in Norway.' Born on 13 November 1949 in St Neots, Huntingdonshire, Reid emerged in the early 1960s as frontman of Peter Jay & The Jaywalkers. He rose to prominence after supporting the Rolling Stones on their 1966 British tour, quickly gaining attention for his powerful vocals and commanding stage presence. More Trending Reid was a trailblazing part of the London music scene in the 1960s, and was close friends with Jimi Hendrix, with whom he often played. Despite being offered the vocalist spot for the newly formed Led Zeppelin by Jimmy Page and a chance to front Deep Purple with Ritchie Blackmore, Reid opted to pursue his own path. Instead of joining either band, he recommended Robert Plant (and even John Bonham) to Page – decisions that ultimately shaped rock music's trajectory.
