THERE are not one but two ticket offers in place for Warrington Wolves' home fixture this weekend.

And youngsters aged 16 and under can watch the game for just £1 thanks to the return of the 'Kids For A Quid' offer, which was in place for Catalans Dragons' visit earlier this year.
The offer for tickets in the HJ's West Stand and juniors must be accompanied by a paying adult, who can gain entry for just £5 as part of the deal.
The offer can be redeemed online via the Warrington Wolves website's ticketing page or in-person at The Halliwell Jones Stadium club shop.
Furthermore, 2025 members can take advantage of the 'bring a friend for a tenner' offer for the fixture, with members able to bring a non-member in any stand for just £10.

This offer can be redeemed at the club shop upon production of a 2025 membership card or member number.
And it's not just the Super League game ticket holders will get to watch, with the two clubs' reserve teams also meeting in the curtain-raiser fixture with one ticket covering both matches.
The reserve match kicks off at 12.30pm, with the main event getting underway at 3pm.

Napoli preparing £45 million bid for Manchester City's Jack Grealish

Napoli have emerged as the latest contender to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City this summer, as per a new report. Grealish is expected to leave Manchester City – either on loan or a permanent deal – in the coming months after starting seven Premier League games last season and being excluded from Pep Guardiola's FIFA Club World Cup squad. Advertisement The 29-year-old has two years remaining on his lucrative contract at the Etihad Stadium, with the England international understood to be earning in excess of £300,000-per-week after joining City from Aston Villa for what was then a British-record £100 million fee in 2021. However, things haven't gone as planned for Grealish in the last two seasons as after playing a starring role in Manchester City's 2022-23 treble-winning campaign, the forward has struggled to maintain form, fitness and confidence in the last 24 months. Guardiola has left the door open for Grealish to stay in Manchester and fight for a starting place next season but the Manchester City manager has lost faith in his most expensive signing, who is also fighting for his England career. Grealish has been left out of Thomas Tuchel's first two squads as England manager and the Birmingham-born winger has been told by the Three Lions boss that he needs to be playing regularly for his club to be in contention for a place in England's 2026 FIFA World Cup. Advertisement Manchester City have already added Rayan Cherki from Lyon to their attack this summer and there remain huge question marks over whether Grealish can turn the ship around at the Etihad Stadium under Guardiola, who left his record signing on the bench altogether in the FA Cup final defeat to Crystal Palace at Wembley. Grealish was also left out of the matchday squad for Manchester City's final Premier League game of the campaign against Fulham and there appears to be a consensus amongst all parties that now is the time to part ways and move on for the winger to revitalise his club and international career(s). Sun Sport are reporting that Napoli are ready to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City for a sum of £45 million this summer. The newly-crowned Serie A champions are eyeing a swoop for either Grealish or Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho. Napoli confirmed the signing of Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City on a two-year deal last week and are understood to be keen on reuniting Grealish with his former teammate, with Grealish also believed to be attracted to the idea of playing abroad. Advertisement Manchester United have set a £70 million asking price for Garnacho – who is keen to stay in England – and whilst Napoli would ideally look to sign the 20-year-old Argentine owing to his age, Grealish is their preferred addition and Manchester City would be ready to sell him for £45 million this summer. Grealish has not attracted much interest from the top end of the Premier League and his best shot at a new lease of life and a place on the England plane to the FIFA World Cup next summer may lie abroad.

Chelsea face tough calls as summer window gathers pace

Chelsea's Summer Jigsaw: Building Balance Amid Big Decisions Chelsea's summer transfer window is taking shape with all the tension of a slow-burning thriller. The pieces are being arranged carefully, deliberately, but with an edge of unease. This is a club trying to rebuild identity and cohesion, while simultaneously grappling with the legacy of past scattergun spending. The week's developments, as reported by The Athletic, speak to a Chelsea attempting to act with clarity, even if the final picture remains fuzzy. Gittens pursuit signals new direction At the heart of Chelsea's strategy lies Jamie Gittens. Quick, direct and utterly fearless, the 20-year-old winger is the embodiment of the profile Chelsea now prioritise — high upside, high energy, high ceiling. Their £42 million bid on June 10 might have been rebuffed by Borussia Dortmund, but the intent is clear. Chelsea and Gittens have agreed personal terms on a seven-year deal, and while the structure of the offer remains a sticking point, 'the two clubs have not ruled out reaching an agreement in future.' Photo IMAGO Advertisement Thom Harris describes Gittens as 'a speedy dribbler with a powerful right-footed shot,' and his numbers justify the attention. With eight goals and three assists last season, he ranks among Europe's most aggressive take-on specialists, only bettered by two players across the continent. Photo IMAGO In short, Gittens ticks every box. And with Enzo Maresca confirming in his Club World Cup press conference that a 'right-footed left-winger' remains a top priority, Chelsea's focus looks admirably aligned. The chaos of recent years may finally be giving way to coherence. Goalkeeper situation reveals pragmatism Elsewhere, Chelsea's goalkeeping strategy is a study in realism. Mike Maignan was admired, but the club's valuation of €15 million did not match Milan's. No bid was made, no drama created. Photo IMAGO Advertisement Meanwhile, Marcus Bettinelli completed a quiet switch to Manchester City, and third-choice options are being shuffled with quiet efficiency. Djordje Petrovic remains an open question. A gentleman's agreement is in place for a £25 million departure. His decision to exclude himself from the Club World Cup squad suggests clarity about his role. As The Athletic notes, 'Petrovic has been given the green light to find himself a club over the next month.' If nothing materialises, Strasbourg — where he impressed last season — remains a viable fallback. Photo IMAGO This is transfer policy with boundaries. Not every target will be chased. Not every outgoing will provoke a headline. But crucially, there's now a semblance of process. Attacking reshuffle underway Beyond Gittens, Chelsea's attacking refresh includes several names of intrigue. Hugo Ekitike, Joao Pedro and Mohammed Kudus all represent different facets of the 'all-round attacker' Maresca is said to want. Chelsea's verbal enquiry for Malick Fofana hints at a growing scouting network finally being brought into focus. Photo IMAGO Advertisement Some moves are already off the table. Benjamin Sesko, long admired, was ruled out once Liam Delap arrived from Ipswich Town for £30 million. The logic is functional: Sesko's playing style mirrors Delap's. Chelsea see no reason to duplicate. Photo: IMAGO That decision alone speaks volumes. In another era, Chelsea might have bought both. Now, choices are being made with positional clarity. Outgoings inevitable and strategic A key theme in Chelsea's summer is simplification. The bloated squad — a legacy of multiple regimes — is being trimmed with quiet resolve. Raheem Sterling, Renato Veiga, Armando Broja, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Joao Felix and more are all potentially available, with only Andrey Santos likely to stay among last season's loanees. Photo: IMAGO Advertisement Trevoh Chalobah, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and even Christopher Nkunku may seek regular starts elsewhere. The most significant news involves Chelsea's highly regarded youth. Kendry Paez and Mathis Amougou will both head to Strasbourg on loan. Teddy Sharman-Lowe is joining Bolton, while Donnell McNeilly and Leo Castledine are likely to depart permanently. Photo IMAGO These are not the headline-grabbing moves of years past. But for once, Chelsea are letting football reasons — rather than vanity projects — guide their transfer logic. Our View – EPL Index Analysis If you're a Chelsea supporter, there's a sense of cautious optimism in this report — but also reason for concern. Advertisement The good news? The club seems to be learning from past excess. There's a plan, and it's not simply to buy whoever has the biggest TikTok following. Gittens is an exciting talent and could bring the kind of wide threat Chelsea have lacked. The pursuit of multifunctional attackers like Kudus and Pedro shows that the scouting is broad and intelligent. But here's the flip side: Chelsea are still relying heavily on promise, not proven quality. Gittens is 20. Delap is a gamble. Ekitike has stalled elsewhere. We've watched this movie before, and the ending is usually mid-table. The goalkeeper saga is another sign of short-term thinking. Maignan is a proven player, and while €15 million may be shrewd business, it also reflects a club unwilling to back big decisions. Petrovic wants out, and if no successor is lined up, they're back to square one in a key position. Finally, the outgoings list looks long and necessary, but who replaces the experience of Chilwell or Sterling if they go? Paez and Amougou are exciting, but they're not ready now. If Maresca wants to impose a philosophy, he'll need players who can deliver it immediately, not just potential. In short, the blueprint is improving, but Chelsea's summer must still be judged by outcomes, not intentions.

Arsenal hesitate while rivals secure top targets ahead of deadline

Arsenal's Summer Drift: Quiet Moves, Loud Questions It has been another week of waiting in North London, a period defined not by signings or statements, but by the absence of them. Arsenal, touted as Premier League title contenders for a second consecutive summer, are once again caught between what they are supposed to be and what they actually are — a club with clear ambition but little visible movement. Advertisement This is not necessarily a cause for panic. It is, however, cause for scrutiny. Lack of urgency around striker targets Arsenal have made no significant progress in their pursuit of a new striker, despite having known for months that this was a pressing need. Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres remain the top options. Photo: IMAGO Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas has made his position clear. In quotes carried by Record, Varandas said, 'We said two things (at the start of the season): that we would not demand €100million and that the value would depend on the performance of Viktor.' The performance in question? Sixty-three goals and 17 assists for club and country. 'Even then, Sporting will not demand his release clause. But people should know that threats, blackmail and insults will not work with me,' he added. 'He won't leave here for €60million plus €10m in add-ons.' Photo IMAGO Advertisement This kind of public standoff may deter Arsenal, or at least offer them a convenient exit route. But the larger question is why a club so obviously in need of a striker still has nothing to show for its efforts weeks into the window. Missed chances on wide targets While Arsenal's striker shortlist stagnates, options in wide areas have also been slipping through their fingers. There were talks with Leroy Sane, but as The Athletic report, the German is now on the verge of joining Galatasaray. Photo: IMAGO Sverre Nypan, the Norwegian teenager once admired at London Colney, is set to join Manchester City. Neither were essential targets, but both signings would have represented the type of strategic depth Arsenal still lack when compared with their rivals. Photo: IMAGO Advertisement Instead, the attention is now on more established and expensive names. Real Madrid's Rodrygo and Newcastle's Anthony Gordon are both of interest, but neither will come cheap. Rodrygo, in particular, would be a statement addition, though the feasibility of such a deal in a market where Arsenal have historically operated with caution feels doubtful. Photo IMAGO Balancing depth and ambition There is a sense, once again, that Arsenal are trapped in the in-between. Not quite title-ready, but not quite rebuilding either. Mikel Arteta wants another central defender, ideally one who can rotate with Gabriel and Saliba. Marc Guehi is admired, but the prospect of him accepting a squad role seems unlikely. Photo: IMAGO Advertisement Similarly, if Thomas Partey's contract is not renewed, Arsenal may move for another midfielder. But again, there is no clear succession plan in place, and no sign that such a move is imminent. Partey himself seemed resigned to the situation when speaking to TV3 Ghana: 'I'm an Arsenal fan, I can't decide anything and just have to leave it to my agent and the club. I just want to enjoy football.' Photo IMAGO In a week where Reiss Nelson could be heading back to Fulham and the window is open for business, Arsenal's outgoings seem more likely than incomings. Planning versus execution Arsenal's activity, or lack thereof, speaks to a familiar theme. The plans are always coherent. The strategy is evident. But the execution remains cautious, sometimes excessively so. Advertisement The interest in players like Rodrygo or Gyokeres points to ambition. But without decisive movement, that ambition risks being interpreted as something more hollow. Football, particularly at the elite end, rarely waits for anyone. If Arsenal's primary targets continue to drift elsewhere, the pressure will mount — not just on Arteta, but on the entire recruitment structure at the Emirates. Our View – EPL Index Analysis There is an eerie sense of déjà vu here. Another summer, another window full of interest, admiration, and assessment, but no arrivals. Arsenal supporters are constantly told to trust the process, to believe in the long-term vision. But when their top striker targets have yet to receive any form of an offer and they're losing out on fringe targets like Nypan and Sane without batting an eyelid, it starts to feel like more than just prudence. It feels like hesitation. The quotes from Sporting's president make one thing clear — this will not be a straightforward deal. But is Arsenal's reluctance financial, strategic, or just fear of failure? Arsenal talk about going to the next level, but actions speak louder than briefings. Rodrygo sounds exciting, but does anyone believe Real Madrid will let him go without a fee that borders on absurd? And even if they do, do Arsenal have the ruthlessness to get the deal done before someone else swoops in?
