Each year, its FinTech50 list picks out the most promising fintech startups that are changing the way the world thinks about finance. From payments and personal finance to blockchain and compliance, the ranking highlights companies bringing fresh ideas and meaningful innovation to the financial services sector. The winners are selected based on their impact, originality, and growth potential.
ComplyControl was founded to tackle the high costs and inefficiencies associated with traditional compliance processes in modern-day realities. This tool allows compliance officers to build custom transaction monitoring rules without any need for in-depth coding knowledge, making the process faster and more accessible. The editor also includes a built-in AI assistant that helps analyse the effectiveness of the rules, ensuring that they remain relevant and up-to-date.
"At ComplyControl, we are focused on building products that solve real pain points in the financial services industry," – said Roman Eloshvili, Founder of ComplyControl. "Our goal is to make compliance smarter and more accessible, so that companies can focus less on regulatory stress and more on growth. For small and mid-sized firms, in particular, it shouldn't be a roadblock to effective operations.
Being recognised by TechRound like this is a strong validation of our mission and the hard work of our team. It signals the growing recognition of AI's importance in the future of financial compliance and the fintech ecosystem as a whole. As we continue to grow and expand our services, ComplyControl aims to become the go-to compliance partner for forward-thinking financial institutions."

A trailblazer in the avocado industry, Calavo Growers (NASDAQ:CVGW) is a pioneering California-based provider of high-quality avocados and other fresh food products. A company's long-term performance is an indicator of its overall quality. Even a bad business can shine for one or two quarters, but a top-tier one grows for years. With $694.5 million in revenue over the past 12 months, Calavo is a small consumer staples company, which sometimes brings disadvantages compared to larger competitors benefiting from economies of scale and negotiating leverage with retailers. As you can see below, Calavo's demand was weak over the last three years. Its sales fell by 15.8% annually, a tough starting point for our analysis. This quarter, Calavo's revenue grew by 3.3% year on year to $190.5 million, falling short of Wall Street's estimates. Looking ahead, sell-side analysts expect revenue to decline by 1.8% over the next 12 months. it's tough to feel optimistic about a company facing demand difficulties. Software is eating the world and there is virtually no industry left that has been untouched by it. That drives increasing demand for tools helping software developers do their jobs, whether it be monitoring critical cloud infrastructure, integrating audio and video functionality, or ensuring smooth content streaming. We believe that in the end, cash is king, and you can't use accounting profits to pay the bills. We struggled to find many positives in these results as Calavo fell short of Wall Street's estimates across all key metrics. Overall, this quarter could have been better. The stock traded down 15.3% to $23.42 immediately after reporting. The latest quarter from Calavo's wasn't that good.
