Authorities searching for missing St. Cloud teenager last seen Dec. 11
Authorities in St. Cloud are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl who was last seen seven weeks ago.
In an alert Wednesday, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Sulaih Ayanna Brook Netzer was last seen Dec. 11 wearing a white t-shirt, black leggings and white and blue Nike Air Max shoes.
Authorities have not shared information indicating where she was last seen, or where she might've been headed.
According to the BCA alert, Netzer is 5'4" and weights 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact St. Cloud Police at 320-345-4444.

The backstory Just after 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Brooklyn Center police say they were called to a home along 63rd Avenue North just west of Xerxes Avenue for the report of a domestic disturbance. As police responded, a second caller reported there was someone inside their home, armed with knives. Police responded and later called in crisis negotiators to assist with the incident. As the standoff lingered on, police say the man eventually exited the home. What we know When he came out of the house, however, police say the man was carrying a chainsaw. Officers used less-lethal force, including pepper balls and rubber bullets, to try and disarm the man. But ultimately, they say, officers fired shots, striking the man. The man was rushed to the hospital following the shooting and police say he is currently in stable condition. Police say the chainsaw was secured at the scene. What they're saying A neighbor said he heard what seemed like two rounds of shots — with the initial round potentially being the less-lethal ammunition — and saw the man charging at officers with a running chainsaw. The witness said it all seemed like a scene out of the horror film "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." "First thought, 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' came through my mind," said neighbor Tyler Ferguson. "Kind of looked like it too." What's next The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been called in to review the use of force. The officers who used force have also been placed on leave. Both are standard protocol in police shootings. Police say there is no lingering danger to the public.

Officers shoot chainsaw-wielding man in Twin Cities, police say
Police in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, say officers shot a man wielding a chainsaw overnight Thursday amid a domestic disturbance call. It happened on the 3200 block of 63rd Avenue North, according to police, after officers were called to the scene on a report of someone inside a residence "armed with knives." Police say crisis negotiators were called in to assist before officers told the suspect he was going to be arrested. Police say the man then walked out of the home with a chainsaw. "While trying to arrest and control the male, officers used pepper balls, 40 mm less lethal, and ultimately Brooklyn Center Police Officers discharged their firearms striking the male," police said in a statement released early Thursday morning. Police say the man was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition. The officers involved are now on critical incident leave as the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension investigates. State officials say they are investigating "a death and a use-of-force incident" in southern Minnesota Wednesday morning. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension announced the investigation in rural Albert Lea just after 3 a.m., but gave no information about what agency used force, what type of force was used or who died.
