PANATHINAIKOS legend Giannis Goumas netted the last time they faced Rangers and he's warned the Greek side not to be blown away by the Ibrox atmosphere.
Rangers host Panathinaikos in Glasgow in the second qualifying round of the Champions League with the return in Athens.

The last time the sides met, it finished goalless at Ibrox in 2008 before Giumas opened the scoring for the hosts in the return leg.
But an 81st minute goal from Nacho Novo saw Rangers go through on away goals to send them into the Last 16 in a competition where they eventually went all the way to the final before losing to Zenit St Petersburg in Manchester.
And Goumas - who spent his entire career at Panathinaikos and helped Greece win Euro 2004 - is wary of the Ibrox atmosphere.
He said: "The key for the tie is for Panathinaikos to withstand the pressure in Scotland.
"I scored a great goal against Rangers in 2008, but it meant nothing because we didn't qualify. It was a shame because it was one of the best goals of my career.
"Rangers are also undergoing transformation with a new manager and players and we don't know how they will present themselves in these two games.
"But they are a Scottish team and we know the Scots bring out that extra passion, especially at home.
"The atmosphere in front of their fans will be explosive.
"That's the key for me, in the first game Panathinaikos will have to withstand the pressure and must try to be able to score without being afraid of the home team.
"They have to go and play their game, get a result and if they do that, I think their task will be easier in the second leg.

"Any player who wears the Panathinaikos jersey must honour it and give everything they have.
"There is no need for fear, but there is certainly pressure in Glasgow."
Meanwhile, Panathinaikos have slashed ticket prices for their home leg against Rangers next week to just £13 in a bid to get a full house.
The game has been moved to Athens' Olympic Stadium because Panathinaikos' home stadium is still being renovated and they want to get as close to the capacity of 69,000 as possible.

After a nervy first half, 18-year old Findlay Curtis fired Rangers into an early second half lead with a stunning strike. Martin's men took control after Giorgos Vagiannidis' red card and debutant Djeidi Gassama's brilliant goal sealed a 2-0 first leg victory for the Gers. It's certainly the kind of start Martin would've been hoping for. While Light Blues fans were pleased to see their new boss get things up and running with a huge win, many couldn't help but notice a quirk! That was the fact that Martin had changed his outfit during the course of the evening. Not once - but twice! It's always been the tradition for Rangers managers to wear a suit on matchdays. So Martin raised a few eyebrows during the Ibrox friendly with Club Brugge earlier this month when he wore a black T-shirt on the sidelines. While the blazer from his suit remained, Martin had swapped the shirt and tie for a black T-shirt. He'd also changed his shoes from the brogues to the ones he wore when was presented as Rangers boss in June. But after the game, Martin changed his attire AGAIN. When he emerged for post match media duties, the smart gear was back! Martin was once again spotted in the full suit, with the shirt and club tie once again making an appearance. It all didn't go unnoticed with many Rangers fans commenting the quirky occurrence. One bemused punter asked: "Does he not wear the suit then?" While another joked: "More outfit changes tonight than a Taylor Swift gig." A third said: "Either wear the suit or don't!" While another posted: "You can just tell he's choking to get that suit off." Some Rangers fans were seemingly not at all fussed about what the boss wears. One simply said: "A manager wearing a suit doesn't make him a better manager." Rangers will travel to Athens to face Panathinaikos in the second leg next Wednesday. Scottish Curling says there was 'no sign' of Elgin rink closure
The national governing body for the sport of curling has said the closure of the Elgin ice rink has come as a "shock" for Curling said it only found out about the move on Monday afternoon after Moray Council confirmed the closure would take place on 4 August. The board for Moray Leisure Centre said "spiralling energy costs" had made it difficult to continue operating the rink. Scottish Curling chief executive Vincent Bryson told BBC Scotland: "No one knew anything. There's a feeling of surprise, shock and anger." He said more than 200 people in the Elgin curling community would be affected along with even more who play different ice sports. He added that there was a community movement building and a petition online has started, with thousands of signatures already.A protest was also staged outside the rink on Bryson said: "There was no sign that any closure was coming."He said communication with managers at the site had been healthy over the past few months and there was no suggestion that it was at Scottish Curling said the leisure centre board announced the closure without further discussion with key participants. Mr Bryson said: "More has to be done on the consultation side of things".Moray Council issued a statement and said the closure was a "difficult decision" for the board to make but rising energy costs made it an "understandable measure".The board of Moray Leisure Centre said it had concluded its ice rink was "no longer financially viable".A statement added: "Moray Leisure Centre has seen its energy costs double, and the board have had to review the full operation at Moray Leisure Centre."The board have made a decision to close the area which generates the least amount of income and consumes the most energy, which is the ice rink."The board said the cost of running the ice rink threatened the financial sustainability of the whole leisure centre. Curling may be 'under threat' Many of Scotland's ice rinks are facing difficulties after increasing energy prices have made it hard to break even, Mr Bryson said."There's difficulties to avoid closure and it's a credit to the people who own and operate those rinks," he ice rink closed its doors in September 2023 due to unprecedented hikes in the cost of gas and electricity. Ice rinks in Inverness and Aberdeen have also been reportedly struggling to stay open previously but they have managed to avoid Curling said those ice rinks had been able to find solutions to continue operating but those were short-term. Mr Bryson said issues across the globe could have a knock-on effect on energy costs which were seen weeks or months said: "Conflicts happening directly impact the energy. It's a really volatile market."He said Scottish Curling would work to help avoid further closures but might need assistance from other stakeholders and energy firms to secure the future of the nation's ice rinks.
