A 1-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier has left the internet in stitches after bursting into a case of the zoomies while his two canine companions remain frozen like statues.
In a video shared by Sofie Mårtensson (@zo.fine) on TikTok, her energetic gray Staffy can be seen frantically looping around with excitement, while the other two dogs—a white and a beige Staffordshire bull terrier—sit completely still. A loud bang echoes in the background, but the excitable pup doesn't skip a beat as he continues zooming. The video has racked up 52,200 likes and over 530,000 views.
"There's actually 3 dogs in this film, you see them all?" Sofie captioned the clip. "Guess the 1 year old," reads the text overlay on the video.
The Staffordshire bull terrier, known for its muscular build and loving nature, is described by the American Kennel Club as a breed that is clever, brave, and tenacious. They are affectionate with family members and, despite their powerful appearance, often have a surprisingly gentle temperament—especially with children.
What viewers witnessed in Sofie's video is commonly referred to as "the zoomies"—scientifically known as Frenetic Random Activity Periods (FRAPs). Zoomies are a completely normal dog behavior that usually involves bursts of high energy, often seen after a bath, during playtime, or when a dog is simply feeling overjoyed, according to Purina. It's a sign of a happy and healthy pup letting off steam.
TikTokers quickly took to the comments to joke about the contrast between the lively youngster and his stoic companions.
"Two dogs and a bolt of black lightning is all that is seen," said one user.
"The sound of him crashing into something," added another viewer.
"Something's glitching cause I keep seeing a flash of black on the video.. not sure if it's phone or your camera," said another.
"The other dog at the back, is me when I'm feeling overstimulated on a night out with my friends," joked another viewer.
"The dog infront saying 'he's the black sheep out of us," said one user.
"My 14-year-old staffy still runs around like that and people don't believe me when I tell them how old he is," shared another user, proving the breed doesn't necessarily slow down with age.

"Your other two are so done with the antics," quipped another.
"Two dogs and those black spots in my eyes. Does anyone know what they are. should i ask an optician. they are getting bigger," joked Sharon.
"I see two, i hear something... but a girl has to blink from time to time..." added Sabine.

‘Love Island: USA' Season 6 Stars Rob and Kendall React to JaNa and Kenny's Unexpected Split
'Love Island: USA' Season 6 Stars Rob and Kendall React to JaNa and Kenny's Unexpected Split originally appeared on Parade. Yup, you read that right. After almost a year of (officially) dating, Love Island: USA season 6 fan favorites JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez have called it quits, and their castmates are already speaking out about the situation. On Sunday (July 27), fans noticed that JaNa had not only unfollowed her partner on Instagram, but she deleted every photo she had ever posted with Kenny — and untagged Kenny from her biography — as well as turned off her comments on the app. Because of this, Love Island: USA fans were disabled from weighing in with their thoughts and speculation, but that did not stop the press... With the media quick to spread the news like wildfire — jumping to conclusions that the Love Island: USA finalists had called it quits — its safe to say that Love Island: USA alumni (and friends of both JaNa and Kenny) Rob Rausch and Kendall Washington did not see this coming, as they were enjoying a midday meal with TikToker Josh Richards when the news broke. Related: During said meal, Josh happened to be live streaming via Twitch, accidentally capturing the pair's reaction to JaNa and Kenny's split. " Looks like there's some drama post-life after the villa," the 23-year-old said to the camera during the stream, which then panned to Rob and Kendall glancing at their phones and whispering to one another. With some tension in the air — seemingly feeling guilty that he unintentionally broke the news via his Twitch stream — the social media sensation then stepped outside to address the situation, admitting that he's "not a messy guy" and "would never try to get a clip here." Josh continued, "I think they're actually like, 'I missed, 'What the hell's going on?' Chat was saying that there's some drama between some of island people. Something's going on. We don't know though. We're not filled in. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I can't, sorry." Nevertheless, fans had a field day in the comment section of a TikTok video clipping the live stream, having a great deal of respect for Kendall and Rob (mainly the latter) for keeping quiet regarding the sticky situation. "Kendall is messy af and he stayed completely silent out of respect for JaNa. That says something 😭😭," one user wrote, while another added, "I like how Rob wasn't baited into reacting 😭." A third gushed, "I actually admire how Rob moves outside the villa. He doesn't chase clout by talking about people he cares about. You can tell he cares about JaNa." Will either JaNa or Kenny break their silence, spilling what really went down between them? Needless to say, we will be keeping up with both parties on Instagram (@janacraig_ and @kennyrodriguez) until further notice. Parsons is entering the final year of his rookie contract and has seen the likes of TJ Watt, Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett get paid big money, yet is still awaiting an agreement for himself. While fans continue waiting for Parsons' contract, Ferguson's was still well earned as he has been a top target for quarterback Dak Prescott the past two seasons. 4 Jake Ferguson is entering his fourth NFL season with the Cowboys. Last season was a bit quieter for Ferguson as he tallied just 59 catches, 494 yards and no touchdowns, albeit he played in three fewer games. Sombr and Addison Rae get sexy on the dancefloor in his new '12 to 12' video. On Thursday, the rising star released the video for his latest single, which stars the pop princess. The Gus Black-directed video opens with Sombr playing both host and guest on a late-night show, before zooming in to reveal Addison Rae in the crowd. The visual then cuts to Rae dancing solo under a disco ball, spinning and teasing the camera as Sombr sings the lyrics. The pair then come together in a retro booth before becoming sensual dance partners. 'In a room full of people, I look for you,' Rae mouths, mirroring Sombr's lyrics. The video ends just before they share a kiss. Both Rae and Sombr have been teasing the new video on social media, sharing clips (and outfits) from it over the last several days. 'Addison is a goddess,' he wrote on TikTok with a clip of the pair dancing. The video arrives ahead of his sold-out headlining tour scheduled for this fall. '12 to 12' follows singles 'We Never Dated,' and the viral tracks 'Undressed' and 'Back to Friends.' Rolling Stone even declared 'Back to Friends' as one of the Best Songs of 2024 So Far, lauding how 'the indie-pop record plays out like an impassioned conversation that bleeds through the walls and captures the melodrama of teenage love.' As for Rae, the video follows her opening slots at Lana Del Rey's Wembley Stadium shows in London. She's set to bring her debut album, Addison, on the road for her own sold-out tour.
