And while Patrick praised Paloma on the Sunday Times bestseller, he did bring up one issue he had with it.
AWKWARD MOMENT
The dad-of-two said: "There's a chapter in this that I wasn't overly glad to read, it is. 'Are men redundant?'."
Paloma replied: "It's a question, not a statement."
Patrick said: "Okay good."

The Londoner made sure to state that she "doesn't think men are redundant".
She explained: "I really like men. I'm not here to man-bash. I just feel like there are certain things that I talk about in the book and in my life that's like... certain things, like initiative, that is lacking quite often.
"If you see the woman in your household do the same act every day, day after day, it means that that act needs to be done.
"And you shouldn't be asked to do it, because that's exhausting in itself, delegating what everyone does. You might as well just get on with it yourself, and then you get irritated, 'I'm doing everything', we say.

"And it's like, yeah, we are doing everything. So if you just see her do that thing every day, like make the kids pack lunch, just wake up half an hour earlier, make the kids pack lunch, and she will be so grateful, unfortunately, because I don't think she should be, because you should be doing it."
The 43-year-old added: "I literally have five careers, and I'm ordering the
school
uniform, I'm doing the
school
lunches, I'm thinking of everything, planning the Easter
holidays
, activities.
"Have you ever done that?"
Patrick paused for quite some time as the studio audience cheered and he finally replied: "I actually have."

Paloma questioned him further saying: "Really? What was it?"
The 54-year-old hilariously replied joked: "Well, you know, they normally come over, they're six and eight, so I normally bring them over to Dundrum for a few pints."

Irish designer creates a Taylor Swift-inspired bridal collection
Earlier this week, Rachel Morgan, owner of The White Gallery luxury bridal boutique, introduced her brand new collection of luxury mini-dresses at a dazzling event in the Canal Court Hotel and Spa in Co Down. Hosted by luxury brand consultant and founder of Danu Collective, Aisling McVeigh, the evening was a dream for brides-to-be shopping for their 'bridal era'. Inspired by Taylor Swift's Eras Tour - a global concert tour that saw the singer celebrate the many chapters of her colourful career - The White Era is a collection of mini dresses that aims to carry brides through their year of celebrations. Speaking with RTÉ Lifestyle, Morgan said that the collection was directly inspired by the Cruel Summer singer, having experienced the Eras tour with her daughters. "Taylor had a massive influence on the name," she confirms. "We've seen her twice now, and we just absolutely love her. She's such a powerful, strong woman." "The White Era is all about the bride during her bridal era," she continues. "From the minute that you get engaged - the engagement party, the day two celebration, all of the occasions where she would choose to wear white." With Swift now in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Travis Kelce, and engagement rumours swirling, the Northern Irish designer says she would "actually die of excitement" if the singer wore one of her dresses in the future. Although the collection celebrates the indulgence of celebrating a major life event, the designer says she is mindful of the impact that the fashion industry has on the environment, and has tried to keep the range as sustainable as possible. For example, one of the dresses is designed to be styled in a variety of ways so that it can be worn on multiple occasions by the bride-to-be. "You invest in one key piece, but if you wear it with the bow or the gloves or anything else, it will carry you through your bridal era," she explains. After the big day, it could also be paired with colourful accessories that would make it less bridal and more timeless. Gone are the days of buying something for one wear only. "Each piece is made to order, so we're not over-producing," she explains. It's made in our own atelier, so that everything from the pattern cutting to the finishing details is done by the one seamstress." "It's so lovely for people to support Irish design," she adds, applauding the array of talent that Ireland has to offer. "There's so much choice out there, and it's lovely to have the option of choosing something that has been made here." With over a decade of experience, Morgan says that these recent designs were created as a solution to the problems that many of her clients were facing, particularly in recent years, with multiple celebrations becoming more commonplace. "They want something special for their engagement party, the rehearsal dinner, or a lot of Irish get married abroad but want to have a gorgeous legal ceremony in city hall, and they want something special and elevated to wear to that event. "Then there's day two, or some brides want to change into a mini in the evening because they want to enjoy their wedding party, and sometimes that's hard in a full-length ball gown." RTÉ 2FM presenter Doireann Garrihy was one of the first brides to wear a mini dress from the collection, and Morgan says she was thrilled to have her wear the brand. "She was one of the first to wear it, and she wore it so beautifully," she says. "It's just really special. We're 14 years open in bridal, and we just have so many brides looking for something different that reflects their personality."

Father's Day Gifts: Irish whiskeys guaranteed to make you the favourite child
It seems a little unfair sometimes that Mother's Day is all about flowers, chocolates and spa treatments, while Father's Day is socks, ties and gardening tools, but if dad will insist on being difficult to buy for, what does he expect? If you want to cement yourself as the Favourite Child, however, you can't go wrong with a bottle of decent whiskey. And if he doesn't like whiskey? Well, it's the thought that counts and perhaps he'll let you have a drop whenever you pop over to visit. Win-win. There's a lot of great Irish whiskey on the market these days, so navigating it can be a little daunting. Here's a guide to some of the most delicious distilled beverages available, so you can pick up something he'll love no matter what your budget. Bushmills Antrim's finest, and the oldest licenced distillery on the island, Bushmills should be a staple of any home bar. At the €20-30 end of the scale, you really can't go wrong with a bottle of Bushmills Black Bush - a very affordable premium whiskey that punches way above its weight. It's great on its own, and mixes really well in whiskey sours, old fashioneds or straight up whiskey sodas. If you want something a little bit extra this year, however, then take a look at the Bushmills Single Malts range. The light and fruity 10 Year Old is a great starting point, but if he's a bit more experienced then the bold and unusual 14 Year Old might be just the thing. Or, if you really want to push the boat out and have €12,000 to spare, Bushmills introduced their oldest ever expression earlier this year with a 46-year-old single malt 'Secrets of the River Bush'. This one's guaranteed to grab his attention - even if you're a middle child! Redbreast This perennial favourite picks up awards all over the world every year, and with good reason! You can't go wrong with any of the whiskeys in the Redbreast family, so it all comes down to budget. At €70, Redbreast 12 is a great starting point and an absolute cracker of a whiskey. If you've got a bit more to spend, exploring the 15, 18 or 21 Year Old expressions would make this a Father's Day to remember. There are also a few slightly more obscure entries to the range, including the recently released Cask Strength 15 Year Old, which was launched to celebrate 20 years since the release of the original 15 Year Old. Tullamore D.E.W. Tullamore D.E.W. doesn't always get its props, but we're here to tell you it's an absolutely delicious drop. Whether you go for the standard blend or the rum-cask finished XO, these are lovely whiskeys that can be enjoyed alone or in a cocktail. If dad has a sweet tooth, the recently released Tullamore D.E.W. Honey liqueur is definitely worth a taste. For that extra-special occasion, however, we'd recommend Tullamore D.E.W. 12 Year Old. Retailing at around €50, this is a very classy whiskey and really should be a staple of all liquor cabinets. Teeling As one of the trailblazers of the new wave of Irish distillers, Teeling haven't been shy about pushing the boundaries of what's possible with Irish whiskey. In addition to their phenomenal core range, The Teeling 'Trinity' of Small Batch, Single Grain and Single Malt whiskeys, they boast an unbelievable range of experimental, limited edition and super-premium expressions. A great way to explore them is a visit to the Teeling Distillery, in Dublin's Newmarket, where you and dad can tour the working distillery and try a few of their tasty drops. Boann Another relative newcomer, Boann distillery is home to the Whistler whiskeys, which include the wonderfully named PX I Love You, the beautifully rich Irish Whiskey & Honey Liqueur and a delicious Irish Cream liqueur - plus several other excellent whiskey expressions. In addition to the Whistler, Boann has recently branched out into Single Pot Still, with a trio of different finishes using traditional recipes that are picking up awards all over the place. Definitely worth checking out if dad has a bit of the whiskey nerd about him. McConnell's McConnell's is a brand that can trace its history back to 1776, and has been recently revived with a new, state of the art distillery in Belfast's Crumlin Road Prison. Their entire range is worth exploring, but the just-launched 5 Year Old Cognac Cask Finish is a definite winner.

Westlife to mark 25 years with new album and shows
Westlife have announced plans to mark their 25th anniversary with a new album and a series of special shows to celebrate the milestone. The news comes more than two decades after their first world tour began on 9 February 2001 at Newcastle Arena in the UK. In a statement shared on Instagram, the band said they are "thrilled to announce the launch of our 25th anniversary celebrations" and promised "new music, an album, special shows and many, many more surprises along the way." They confirmed that Mark Feehily will not be taking part in the anniversary events due to ongoing health issues. Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan will continue the celebrations as a trio. "We hope he can join us back on stage when he is ready and able. He sends his love and positivity to you all as always," they added. Westlife have enjoyed remarkable success in Ireland over the past 25 years. They hold the record for the most number-one albums by an Irish act, with eleven albums topping the Irish Albums Chart. On the singles front, the group have had sixteen number-one hits in Ireland, including Flying Without Wings, My Love, Uptown Girl and Mandy. Their debut single Swear It Again also topped the Irish chart, while Fool Again peaked at number two in 2000. Feehily, who became a father in 2019, has dealt with ongoing health challenges in recent years. He underwent surgery for a hernia and previously revealed he had been treated for sepsis during the pandemic, which led to several absences from live performances.
