Texas A&M baseball reveals new uniform ahead of the 2025 season Texas A&M's new uniform ahead of the 2025 season is highly fitting
Texas A&M's 2025 baseball season deserves the hype it's received this offseason, mainly due to the returning talent on the roster from last season's 2024 College World Series Championship runner-up, as the Aggies fell to Tennessee in game 3 of the program's first title game appearance.
This is the deepest lineup in program history compared to previous seasons. The return of star hitters Jace LaViolette and Gavin Grahovic is just the tip of the iceberg; the additions of power hitters Gavin Kash and Wyatt Henseler are a good problem to have on a week-to-week basis.
On the mound, ace pitcher Ryan Prager returns for a final season after flirting with the MLB, while Justin Lamkin and newcomer Myles Patton fill out a solid starting rotation. However, the bullpen is still a wildcard, which could deal with some issues early in the season.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that first-year coach Mike Earley's team would don a new uniform to open the season, and while Aggie fans are focused on the play on the field, it's never a bad thing to look good while doing so.
As you can see above, Maroon & White are the central colors, while the choice to go with gold in the number is interesting, with a slight resemblance to Texas State's standard color combination.
The Aggies start the campaign against Elon at Blue Bell Park on Valentine's Day at 6 p.m.

How Lane Kiffin showed support for Tennessee baseball vs Arkansas in NCAA super regional
Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin has had an up-and-down relationship with Tennessee, but he's rooting for the Vols in their NCAA baseball super regional matchup with Arkansas. Kiffin made his rooting interest clear in a social media post wishing the Vols his best. Tennessee (46-17) is locked in a tight game against the Razorbacks (46-13) at Baum-Walker Stadium. Advertisement Kiffin was the football coach at Tennessee in 2009. Many Vols fans soured on Kiffin after he left the job after one season to coach at Southern Cal. Kiffin has had memorable moments at Neyland Stadium since returning to the SEC as Ole Miss' coach in 2020. He had a golf ball and a mustard bottle thrown in his direction in Ole Miss' 31-26 win at Tennessee in 2021. Kiffin seemingly still has a soft spot for the Vols; but he has also trolled his former team's fans over baseball games. Sam Hutchens covers sports for the Clarion Ledger. Texas A&M lands rising 2026 3-star Athlete out of Missouri City (TX)
Texas A&M lands rising 2026 3-star Athlete out of Missouri City (TX) Texas A&M coach Mike Elko and his staff are currently hosting 15 2026 prospects this weekend, including a three-star athlete who has been a star quarterback for Fort Bend Marshall HS in Missouri City, Texas, as Kaeden Johnson announced his commitment to the Aggies on Saturday night. Previously predicted to land with the Colorado Buffaloes, Johnson will not play quarterback at the next level despite his production, especially his 6'6" frame and athleticism, as the Aggies see him as a tight end due to his size, speed, and route-running knowledge. This has been a successful transition for several former quarterbacks, including Vanderbilt star TE Eli Stowers, who, as Aggie fans remember, was once a backup QB for Texas A&M. Johnson's ahtletic traits make him a future starter with plenty of potential, and could also be helpful as an emergency quarterback given his background. During his 2024 junior season, Johnson passed for 2,109 yards and 25 touchdowns, completing 60% of his passes, while also rushing for 571 yards and six touchdowns. Again, this young man can sling it, but Texas A&M tight end coach Christian Ellsworth deserves credit for striking while the iron is hot, knowing that Johnson has been sky rocking locally before his OV. Georgia, Kirby Smart Flip 4-Star SEC Commit On Saturday
Georgia, Kirby Smart Flip 4-Star SEC Commit On Saturday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs continue to build momentum in the class of 2026. Georgia entered the weekend with four commitments in the month of June, including blue-chip cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick, top punter Wade Register, top kicker Harran Zureikat and three-star offensive linemen Zykie Helton and Zachary Lewis. Advertisement The Bulldogs' latest pledge, the fifth in the last two weeks, is one that Smart and his staff have been working on for a long time. Four-star cornerback Caden Harris initially committed to SEC foe Vanderbilt on April 29 over Georgia and Notre Dame. Harris is a two-way standout at Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tennessee. He totaled 30 tackles, seven pass breakups and an interception on defense while catching 37 passes for 782 yards and 11 touchdowns on defense as a junior last season, per MaxPreps. Haywood's Caden Harris (1)Jamar Coach / The Jackson Sun / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Harris (6-foot, 170 pounds) ranks as the No. 8 player at the position, the No. 4 player in the state and the No. 76 overall recruit in his class (On3). Advertisement Despite Harris' commitment to Vanderbilt, Georgia kept in touch and officially hosted the highly-coveted recruit last weekend. And that trip has seemingly paid off for Smart and Co., as Harris flipped his pledge to UGA on Saturday. Harris becomes a key piece in what is shaping up to be a talented group of defensive backs for the Bulldogs under Smart, co-defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson and cornerbacks coach Donte Williams. Georgia also holds commitments from four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick and four-star safeties Jordan Smith and Zech Fort. Harris' pledge vaulted the Bulldogs to fourth nationally in the 2026 cycle.
