Golden Retriever Puppy Helps Mom Relax with Hilarious ‘Barking Sound Bath'

Yahoo25-05-2025

Golden Retriever puppies are so cute and so naughty at the same time. They're terrible. They're like little sharks, and it's actually the worst thing you'll ever experience... but they're also so sweet that it completely makes up for all of that badness.
On Tuesday, May 20th, one adorable Golden Retriever puppy really helped his mom relax. After a hard day at work, she was exhausted, and he decided to help her relax with a sound bath she couldn't resist:
Tobias Alexander the Golden Retriever puppy definitely deserves to get a full government name. I'm sure his mom uses it all the time!Tobias Alexander, or Toby for short, is a monster of the cutest degree. He is so adorable it's almost not fair: he does lots of things that one could be mad at, and yet it's absolutely impossible to stay mad at him for too long because of his sweet face.
When his mom got home on this day, he was so excited to see her, but she was so tired. He wanted to get up on the couch with her to try out snuggle therapy, but he was too little. He couldn't get up on his own, so he was forced to give her therapy from the ground in the form of a barking sound bath.
Just look at him, though. It's impossible not to love him:
Golden Retrievers are one of the most sought after breeds of all time, but they're also one of the hardest. They take well to training, but they're very stubborn as well, which are two things that don't always play well together.
They're biters, too, so you really have to work on training them to resist that urge. They will chew up whatever they can get their shark-like teeth on, so you really need to be watching them or keeping them in a secure location at all times.
Once they find their voice, though, it's basically over. Just look at Toby!

Dog Raised by Cats Has Internet in Stitches: '10/10 Loaf'

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A pit-bull named Opie has baffled social media users with his ability to act exactly like the cats who raised him, in a viral video that has received over 30.8 million views and 6.7 million likes on TikTok so far. The hilarious clip, shared on Saturday under the username @justopiethings, shows the pup effortlessly curling into a loaf, squeezing into tiny cat beds, and displaying behaviors similar to those of his feline siblings. "Do yo want to see what a pit-bull raised by cats looks like?" the poster writes in the clip. "Part cat part ... Maine coon?" she continues in the caption. Dogs and cats can not only live together peacefully, but they can also form a close bond and become the best of friends. However, that is not always the case, animal charity Dog Trust explains on its website. Some cats are nervous around dogs, who sometimes have a predatory drive so strong that it may compromise the welfare of the cat. Usually, when dogs get overly excited around cats and can't be calmed down, it isn't safe for them to live together. A cat and a dog should be introduced slowly and mindfully, starting with scent swapping and then gradually removing physical barriers when you finally know that they are comfortable together, and don't pose a risk to one another. While most dogs can be trained to live with cats, with the help of a specialized animal behaviorist if needed, some dog breeds are more suited for life with a feline than others. Burns Court Veterinary Care explains that because of their friendly manners, dogs like Labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, and beagles are the breeds that get along best with cats. Cat breeds that are most likely to accept dogs into their life include Maine coons, rag-dolls, and Siamese. A stock image shows a pit-bull mix looking over his shoulder at the camera. We could not verify the details of the case. The video received over 19,000 comments from amused users. One user, Mariahargrove5, commented: "The way his facial expressions show how much he is judging you, just like a cat, is absolute perfection." Jess, the brazillionaire said: "My favorite animals are cats raised by dogs or dogs raised by cats and if you don't agree, you're wrong." T added: "Tell your dog I said pspspspsps," while Sharp Lives said: "10/10 Loaf." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share? Limping Golden Retriever Is 'Miraculously Healed' When Given a New Toy

Limping Golden Retriever Is 'Miraculously Healed' When Given a New Toy originally appeared on PetHelpful. If you have kids at home, you know that they sometimes fake being sick or injured to get out of doing something, or more often, for attention. If you have pets at home, you know that they sometimes do the same thing, and for Megan Bartels, an inexpensive toy saved her from a very expensive vet trip when her Golden Retriever faked a leg injury. Megan shared the video towards the end of May, saying that her Golden inexplicably woke up with a limp, and they didn't know why. All he wanted was his favorite stuffed animal and to lay down, with mom doting on him. He was sad and he noticed a $7 toy from TJMaxx that was just for him! Watch on to see what happens next. For some reason, his leg immediately started feeling better and just like that, he was miraculously healed! Megan wasn't too upset - the toy saved her from a $500 vet visit. Isn't it funny how quickly pets (and kids!) feel better when they find something that they want or like?!Viewers got a kick out of the Golden's miraculous recovery and shared some funny stories of their own. @loveunicorns shared, "You can't blame him for being a smart cookie. He loves his momma and he will do anything to have her and get a toy. He knows he is a good boy!" @lilyandmaverick joked, "He's thinking 'Am I the drama????' Yes sir you are!" @tammycortwright added, "Praise the lord it's a miracle!" Commenter @Susan Ann Davis pointed out, "He's acting like a human child LOL! Play hurt and if I get something I may feel better!!!" @Jess shared, "When my dogs are hurt, I ask them if they're hurt enough for the vet. It changes their attitude quickly!" @Ciara Connery shared this relatable story, "My black Lab did this. I brought her to the vet, x-rays, everything. Got her a toy and treats because I felt so bad. Vet told me she was fine, later found out she would do this when she didn't want me to leave for work." Dogs know exactly what they're doing! Golden Retriever Lands Job As 'Fishing Guide' and Totally Nails the Role

Is there anything that Golden Retrievers can't do? These gorgeous, remarkably intelligent dogs almost never fail to impress. And the Golden Retriever in this video, who shows that he is a grade A "fishing guide," is no exception. From catching fish, to steering the boat, jumping off a cliff, and even taking on a scorpion - there's nothing this "fishing guide" can't do. Not to mention that when this good boy's cheeks flap in the wind as the boat cruises along, it's pretty much as adorable as can be!Obviously, this particular Golden Retriever is an exceptionally talented dog. He can drive and park a boat for crying out loud. Is there anything this guy can't do? As this other video shows, not only is this amazing golden retriever highly competent out on the water, but he is also easily the "coolest guy out in the parking lot." Before they even hit the water, it's obvious that this canine is the real deal. Just look at the way he comes face-to-face with that duck or how he catches so many fish with ease. And once the ride gets rough and bumpy out on the water, this handsome dog is not fazed at all, taking each and every bump in stride as he lays back and relaxes on the backseat, just chilling and enjoying the boat ride. There are good boys, good dogs, and then there are dogs that are professional good boys, just like this guy. He should really be the star of his own commercial or movie. He doesn't always catch fish, but when he does, he prefers to catch them in the open water, because he's the most interesting dog in the world! Looking for more PetHelpful updates?
