'I couldn't believe it. I thought Shams was hacked. When it first happened, we were at the Warriors' charity poker tournament. I had just seen Joe Lacob 10 minutes earlier. Joe goes, 'Draymond, I think we're gonna get Kevin Durant. It's happening, we're gonna get Kevin Durant.' He walks off, then runs back two minutes later like, 'Draymond, Draymond, I wasn't supposed to say anything. Don't tell anybody.' I said, 'I got you, Joe. I won't say anything.'
Green continued:
'We're still at the tournament, and Steph goes, 'Draymond, you see the trade?' I go, 'It happened!' Steph asks, 'Wait, who?' And I said, 'Oh, never mind.''

While the Warriors didn't land Durant in a reunion, they did pull off a major move by acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat. The deal helped Golden State make it to the second round of the playoffs before falling in five games to the Timberwolves.

Draymond Green played in 68 regular-season games, averaging 9 points and 6.1 rebounds. He has been with the Warriors since entering the league in 2012.
