The world saw him as charming, talented, and always surrounded by people, but behind that vibrant exterior, Mukul Dev battled a haunting solitude. The actor's sudden death at 54 shocked the film industry last month, but it's his elder brother Rahul Dev's deeply personal reflections that have now brought a new perspective to the grief. In a recent interview, Rahul Dev opened up about the emotional toll of Mukul's life journey, painting a picture of a man who seemed to have it all, yet carried invisible burdens. As Rahul puts it, the shared thread of loneliness—Rahul being a widower and Mukul a divorcee—defined much of their adult lives. Though Mukul shared a close bond with his daughter, he remained alone after his early separation and never remarried. Known for his effortless charm and social nature, Mukul was ironically someone who ended up isolated. Rahul believes Mukul's life was full of emotional ironies and wishes he had been more open to healing and companionship.Shilpa Dev was Mukul Dev's wife in the early 2000s, and the couple had a daughter, Sia, born in 2002. Despite their bond through parenthood, their marriage faced challenges and they reportedly separated in 2005. The reasons for the split were never publicly discussed, but as per reports in the BollywoodShaadis, it was due to minor differences, with no one solely at fault. After the separation, Shilpa moved out with Sia. Despite the distance, Mukul remained deeply connected to his daughter and often shared milestones from her life on social media, reflecting their continued bond.Rahul, too, has had his share of heartbreak, having lost his wife Rina to cancer in 2009. He raised their son Siddharth alone and now finds companionship with actress Mugdha Godse. She is known for her performances in films like Fashion, All the Best: Fun Begins, Heroine and others.

When Arjun Rampal Said He "Enjoyed" Intimate Scenes With Kareena Kapoor In Heroine: "Still Cherish Shooting Those Love-Making Moments"

New Delhi: Arjun Rampal is making headlines (again) for all the wrong reasons. The actor's old interview has resurfaced on the Internet. What's Happening In a 2021 interview with Hindustan Times, Arjun Rampal spoke about filming intimate scenes with Kareena Kapoor for Madhur Bhandarkar's film Heroine. "I enjoyed getting cosy with Bebo. I'm still cherishing shooting those love-making moments with her," he said. The Internet's Reaction A Reddit user recently shared a screenshot of the statement, calling it "so weird and unprofessional." The post quickly gained traction, with others joining in to express disappointment. "Didn't know that people were this comfortable objectifying back then," wrote one user. Another commented, "I think back then this was a promotional tactic to get people to come watch the movie - saying there is skin show." A third user labelled Rampal as "cheap." Background Heroine, which released in 2012, starred Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Mugdha Godse and Divya Dutta. The film followed the story of Mahi, a top actress whose career spirals downward after her relationship with a married man falls apart, triggering a phase of depression and professional setbacks. While Kareena has maintained a prominent position in the film industry for over two decades, she has notably limited her participation in intimate scenes on-screen. In an interview earlier this year with actor and activist Gillian Anderson for The Dirty Magazine, she addressed this choice. "It's just the way we look at the whole idea. We don't look at sexuality or sex as a human experience. We have to start looking at and respecting that a lot more before we put it on screen. It's my belief," she said.
