Chaos Erupts At Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter Tour' As VIP Lounge Turns Into A Fight Club

Yahoo05-05-2025

Opening night of 's highly anticipated "Cowboy Carter Tour" exploded into total chaos, but not for the reasons fans expected.
Before Queen Bey even finished her set at SoFi Stadium Monday night, an all-out brawl erupted in the VIP lounge.
A group of Beyoncé fans, decked out in denim and cowboy boots, were caught on camera screaming at each other and eventually throwing punches, sending onlookers into a frenzy.
As concertgoers headed for the exits, tensions boiled over.
One woman, rocking a denim button-down, shorts, and white cowboy boots, tried to walk away, only for another woman to swoop in and smack her hat off her head. Things spiraled fast when a woman in a denim maxi dress attempted to break it up but failed miserably.
The same cowboy-hat smacker then aggressively pushed another woman to the ground twice, with three others joining the fray before a man finally stepped in to separate them.
"I'm mad," one stunned bystander said, per Daily Mail.
Another quipped, "Another show after the Beyoncé show?"
Luckily, the dust settled when two of the women, including the one who threw the first punch, finally walked away. "She assaulted her," a man was heard saying, but it's unclear if anyone was seriously injured or if arrests were made.
Meanwhile, inside the stadium, Beyoncé stunned the crowd with her killer style, rocking tiny denim shorts, a sparkling silver top, and thigh-high fluffy leg warmers.
In a rare and sweet moment, she brought out her daughter Rumi, 7, alongside big sister Blue Ivy, 13, delighting fans.
Noticeably missing? Rumi's twin brother, Sir Carter, whom Beyoncé has made a point to keep out of the spotlight.
But behind the glittering moments, there's growing buzz that Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter Tour" might not be the juggernaut everyone expected.
Despite winning her first-ever Grammy for Album of the Year for "Cowboy Carter," the "Single Ladies" singer has faced some seriously sluggish ticket sales.
Just hours before Monday's show, over 3,000 seats at SoFi were still available, according to Ticketmaster, and resale prices had plummeted to as low as $20, cheaper than a limited-edition McDonald's "Minecraft" meal.
An insider told Daily Mail that scalpers are largely to blame, scooping up tickets and jacking up prices that fans weren't willing to pay. Still, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly "remaining hopeful" more fans will buy tickets now that resale prices are dropping.
Fans were quick to sound off online, mocking the situation.
"Due to its low demand, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour tickets ($20) are now cheaper than a McDonald's 'Minecraft' meal ($21.39)," one post read.
However, another fan argued, "Wait till the tour starts, once those clips start dropping, people will be flocking to get tickets, I know it."
While reactions were mixed, the album still soared to the top of the Billboard 200, and its lead single, "Texas Hold 'Em," claimed the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Country chart.
This year also saw Beyoncé score major wins at the Grammys, taking home Album of the Year and Best Country Album for "Cowboy Carter." Her 13-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, stood beside her during an emotional acceptance speech.
"I just feel very full and very honored," she shared with the audience, dedicating the moment to her inspirations and expressing gratitude to the Los Angeles Fire Department for presenting the award.
She had previously shared that the album "is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work."
Adding to the night's glitzy, but controversial, atmosphere, and rolled up to the concert along with director Tyler Perry. Gayle had recently jetted off into space on Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket (deposit price: a whopping $150,000), and fans didn't hesitate to call her out online for another "tone-deaf experience."
"Wealthy folks doing wealthy folks things," one person commented. Another slammed the media personality for "rubbing our faces in your wealth" while many are struggling.
Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter Tour" will continue across the U.S. and Europe, wrapping up in Las Vegas on July 26, but if opening night is any indication, the drama might just be getting started.

Is Doechii's Oversized Balloon Jacket Summer's Newest Style Trend?

Source: Bryan Bedder / Getty When it comes to commanding the stage, rapper and budding style icon Doechii never misses. However, her May 31 performance at the Samsung Edge in New York didn't just deliver a flawless stage performance but a flawless fit, too. The Florida-born rapper has again gone viral. This time in a statement-making ensemble that blurs the lines between high fashion and hip-hop flair. The fashion girls are talking – and taking notes. The Grammy-winning artist hit the Samsung stage as part of a new partnership with the tech brand. She wore a dramatic balloon-shaped trench coat layered over a crisp white button-down and maroon necktie. Styled by Sam Woolfe, the look was cinched just enough to reveal her tiny waist and mini length to show off her legs. She paired the funky outwear with high beige socks and sharp black stilettos. Adding to her look was makeup and hair for the 'gawds. Her makeup included a silver cut crease, flawless matte skin, and a glossy red lip. Gold hoops and wire-rimmed glasses gave her fit a soft throwback finish, and her signature face tape continues to be that girl. What we love about Doechii's balloon jacket is that it challenges the idea of what summer style is (or should look like). A departure from the typical warm-weather dressing of booty shorts, maxi dresses, and skimpy tops, the 'Anxiety' femcee's fit stood out. Her body was still bodying – and so was her style. Her jacket is also a nod to icons like Andre Leon Talley who always played with proportions by his own rules. Yes, the piece is just that good. If you're thinking about how to tap into the Doechii summer style trend, start with exaggerated outerwear in breathable fabrics. Think unexpected to expected from linen and chambray to seersucker and chiffon. Pair the outerwear with short hemlines or stackable layers that help balance the volume. Source: Bryan Bedder / Getty For those not ready to go bare-legged just yet, layer baggy silhouettes over shorts or bike sets. Add sleek heels or chunky sneakers to stand out and don't be afraid to play with accessories that contrast the drama. Doechii's summer style trend is for the girls who like to put that ish on. Her fashion era continues to evolve —and we're ready for every oversized moment. Ana de Armas & Tom Cruise Have Reportedly ‘Discussed' What Role Scientology Plays In Their Relationship

We all thought 2025 couldn't outdo itself when Elizabeth Hurley started canoodling with Billy Ray Cyrus, but Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas may just be the most unexpected celebrity couple of 2025. The Top Gun legend and the Cuban-born Oscar nominee have gone from helicopter drop-ins and Valentine's Day dates to sparking serious headlines — especially now that sources reveal they've had 'discussions' about how Scientology could shape their future together. For anyone catching up, this pairing felt a bit out-of-nowhere at first: Cruise is 62 and arguably Hollywood's most high-maintenance bachelor; she's 37, a Bond girl-turned-Marilyn Monroe, with a devout Catholic upbringing and a history of keeping her love life as locked down as Cruise's film sets. But these two have been spotted flying across Europe together (literally), making low-key exits from David Beckham's birthday bash, and appearing to dodge the paparazzi like it's their own personal Mission: Impossible. And while the two are reportedly connecting to discuss future projects, some insiders suggest there is more to what's going on between the two. More from SheKnows Tom Cruise Has Allegedly Offered His Reported New GF the Role of His Love Interest in a New Movie According to insiders who spoke with the Daily Mail, there's one thing they can't quite outmaneuver: religion. Cruise's long-standing ties to the Church of Scientology are public knowledge — and polarizing, to put it gently. He's one of the religion's most visible (and powerful) figures, and many point to Scientology as a key factor in his past divorces, including his split from Katie Holmes. Holmes famously sought sole custody of their daughter, Suri, who, by the way, dropped his surname and now goes by Suri Noelle. De Armas, on the other hand, hails from a modest, deeply religious family in Cuba. Raised in the Catholic Church, the Knives Out star still holds her values close. So while her jet-setting with Cruise might look carefree, the question of faith is reportedly weighing heavily behind the scenes. 'Ana was raised Catholic and her family are religious,' a source said. 'She knows that her family would not accept Tom because of his beliefs. Ana and Tom have discussed this.' The actress has always charted her own path, but even so, those close to her suspect she may be more flexible than expected. 'His Scientologist beliefs are not a deal breaker for Ana,' one insider added. 'She is her own woman. And honestly, no one would be surprised if she took up Scientology.' Whether she's about to go Clear or just keeping an open mind for the sake of love, one thing's for sure: the two are having some serious discussions. But if they plan to make it past the Cannes red carpet (Cruise's Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning premieres May 14), they might have to land on the same spiritual page of SheKnows 90 Incredible Shows on Netflix You Should Be Watching Right Now Everything Harry & Meghan Have Done Since Leaving the Royal Family These 9 Books Reveal Details About JFK Jr. & Carolyn Bessette That Were Never Known Before

New McDonald's sauces bring the heat more than ever

"Hot Ones"is a phenomenon that no one saw coming. The premise is, honestly, weird. If you're not familiar, the laid-back host, Sean Evans, sits down with celebrities and, over a plate of 10 chicken wings doused with progressively hotter sauces, asks them a series of thoughtful questions. The celebrities are distracted and sometimes distraught by the spicy food, which can result in unexpectedly intimate conversations, as well as some outright hilarity. "Hot Ones" launched on YouTube in 2015, and in the 25 seasons and 350 episodes since, Evans has interviewed some of the most A+ of the A-listers you can think of, and has made many of them cry. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter The likes of Tom Holland, Shaq, Jennifer Lawrence, and Margo Robbie have run the "Hot Ones" gauntlet. "'Hot Ones' - a breakthrough pop-culture phenomenon in which stars eat 10 progressively fiery wings (or, increasingly, a vegan substitute) while being asked 10 deeply researched questions - has built itself into an online pillar, holding steady amid the shifting tides of digital media," says The New York Times. Related: Pepsi makes major change that will anger some customers The show has nearly 15 million subscribers and more than 4 billion views on YouTube, plus millions of additional followers on Instagram and TikTok. No wonder McDonald's wants in on the action. McDonald's recently launched three "Hot Ones" sauces, but here's the bad news: the sauce collab is only happening in France. At least for now. McDonald's France offers: Hell Piñata: A smoky chipotle-infused mayonnaise with a mild kick, registering at a relatively mild 10,000 Scoville units. Thaï Toi: A sweet and sour blend featuring ginger and lemongrass, packing a punch at 70,000 Scoville units. Embrase-moi: A bold BBQ sauce infused with habanero peppers, reaching a gut-churning 200,000 Scoville units. Related: Trader Joe's sells out of TikTok famous treat (here's when it's back) The sauces are available with Chicken McNuggets and Veggie McPlant Nuggets in 6, 9, or 20 pieces, either à la carte or as part of a meal (excluding Happy Meals). The "Hot Ones" launch is part of a campaign featuring French rapper Naza, who takes on the spicy challenge under the guidance of host Kyan Khojandi. The McDonald's-"Hot Ones" spicy collab is only available in France for the time being, but American fans are salivating at the thought of a stateside release. Smuggling them from France even seems to be a thing. @noahsanchezofficial said, "I tried these! I took them on the plane back to Cali too lol, still have them" and @lakers209 said, "I brought back a 12 sets from my trip to France last year. They are all a lot hotter than you would expect." For now, spicy-food lovers can indulge in this funky fusion of fast food and fiery flavors, leaving the rest of us to hope it comes ashore here soon.
