NFL suspends former Ravens kicker Justin Tucker for first 10 weeks of the season amid slew of off-field allegations

NFL star Justin Tucker has been suspended for the first 10 weeks of the upcoming season, following a slew of allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior.
Tucker is a former kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, and received his suspension on Thursday, after being accused of violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.
The 35-year-old became a free agent after the Ravens released him last month in the aftermath of reports that he was accused of inappropriate sexual behavior by over a dozen massage therapists.
Allegations against Tucker first emerged in January, when The Baltimore Banner reported that six massage therapists from eight Baltimore-area spas had shared their first-hand accounts with the outlet.
The outlet reported that the NFL star repeatedly exposed himself to the masseuses, touched two of them with his exposed penis and also several times left what appeared to be ejaculate on the massage table.
By February a total of 16 had come forward. All said Tucker's actions occurred between 2012 and 2016.
Two of the spas said the player's behavior was so bad that he had been banned from the premises.
After the initial allegations emerged, Tucker said that he has never received any complaints from a massage therapist or been told he was not welcome at a spa or other place of business.
His 10-week suspension takes effect on August 26, which is roster cutdown day, and will be eligible for reinstatement on November 11.
Tucker is still able to try out with and sign with a team. If he is signed, he can attend training camp and participate in preseason games.
A five-time All-Pro, Tucker has played his entire 13-year career with Baltimore. He's considered one of the best kickers in NFL history, although 2024 was his worst season.

Police are investigating a break-in at a home reportedly owned by Brad Pitt, who has been on a globe-spanning promo tour for his new movie, F1. The Los Angeles police department confirmed they responded to a break-in Wednesday night at a house on the 2300 block of North Edgemont Street in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Three suspects broke into the residence through the front window, ransacked the home and fled with miscellaneous property, said officer Drake Madison. Madison said he could not identify who owned or lived in the home, and no information is currently available on what was stolen. Pitt reportedly bought the home for $5.5m in April 2023, according to Traded, a commercial real estate website. A representative for Pitt declined comment. Pitt has been out of the country on a promotional tour for the F1 movie. He attended the international premiere in London on Monday. The burglary was first reported Thursday by NBC News.

Awkward moment FOX host Colin Cowherd, 61, is advertently announced as an NBA Draft pick live on ESPN

A hilarious slip of the tongue saw Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd accidentally announced as a pick during this week's NBA Draft. With the 11th pick on Wednesday night, the Portland Trail Blazers selected Cedric Coward from Washington State. But as cameras cut to the 21-year-old celebrating with his loved ones, ESPN anchor Malika Andrews announced that Portland had picked 'Colin Cowherd'. 'This is a young man with the ultimate bet-on-yourself story,' Andrews continued. Alas, Colin Cowherd is a 61-year-old sportscaster with Fox Sports who hosts 'The Herd'. He made light of ESPN's error on social media. 'Apparently, I made a hell of an impact in Portland,' Cowherd wrote. He then used AI to create a picture of him wearing a Blazers jersey. 'Nothing against Memphis but this would have been epic,' Cowherd wrote alongside the image. Welcome to the Grizzlies, Colin Cowherd! — Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) June 26, 2025 Coward, meanwhile, ended up with the Grizzlies after Portland agreed to send his rights to Memphis on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies received Coward in exchange for Yang Hansen (the No 16 overall pick) as well as two second-round picks (2027 and 2028) and a 2028 first-round pick. Elsewhere on Wednesday, ESPN star Scott Van Pelt bemoaned the trend of newly-selected players wearing the wrong team's hat. It's a problem that comes with teams trading their picks and prospects, and results in players getting a photo with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver while wearing the hat of a team they will not play for. It happened a few times on Wednesday night, including with 10th overall pick Khaman Maluach, who was visibly crying while wearing a Houston Rockets hat. Maluach is headed to the Phoenix Suns, after the team acquired the pick in the blockbuster Kevin Durant trade. 'I'm gonna scream about the hat situation,' Van Pelt said on ESPN's airwaves during the 'SportsCenter' broadcast that immediately followed the first round.
