Nexxen unveils nexAI suite to transform advertising with AI

Techday NZ28-04-2025

Nexxen has announced the launch of nexAI, an artificial intelligence-powered suite of tools designed for its advertising technology platform.
The nexAI platform is structured as a collection of AI assistants and features that are vertically integrated across the core functions of Nexxen's end-to-end system, including its demand-side platform, supply-side platform, data capabilities, and in-house creative services.
Nexxen states that the integration of nexAI will impact every component of the advertising life cycle, spanning planning, activation, optimisation, and monetisation. The company positions the new offering as prioritising transparency and user control, while harnessing machine learning and generative AI to support clients throughout the campaign journey.
Karim Rayes, Chief Product Officer at Nexxen, commented: "Our clients are continuing to lean into data and technology to navigate the fragmented media landscape, and nexAI meets this evolving need. By integrating AI across our unified platform – and leveraging our existing data to inform these capabilities – we're not just adding features; we're fundamentally transforming the way campaigns are run and inventory is monetised."
Nexxen describes the key benefits of nexAI across four main areas. For planning, nexAI applies AI to enhance audience segmentation, forecasting, and provide more detailed strategic recommendations. In the activation phase, campaign set-up and management are streamlined through the automation capabilities of the platform.
In campaign optimisation, nexAI is built to monitor and modify campaigns in real time using machine learning algorithms. Nexxen claims these algorithms evolve and improve through continual learning, with the goal of maximising both performance and return on investment.
The platform also offers monetisation tools for publishers, including AI-driven yield optimisation and transparency measures. This, Nexxen asserts, is intended to help publishers maximise their revenue from advertising inventory.
Jamie Snider, Director of Digital Strategy at Assembly Global, outlined the efficiencies afforded by nexAI: "Sifting through campaign data to uncover meaningful insights can take hours, but nexAI puts that power at our fingertips in an instant. By streamlining reporting and optimisation, it lets us spend less time digging and more time driving real results for clients."
Brian Binder, Senior Innovation and Growth Director, TV, Audio & Display at Tinuiti, also highlighted potential workflow benefits: "By automating data and insight collection, nexAI will streamline our team's workflow, allowing us to shift focus to higher-value strategic initiatives and discovering new growth opportunities for our clients."
The first feature to launch under the nexAI suite is an in-platform assistant that is natively integrated within Nexxen DSP. This assistant aims to simplify the workflow for advertisers and provide immediate access to complex insights related to campaigns. Nexxen plans to further expand the assistant's capabilities, eventually enabling users to directly apply optimisation recommendations and drive greater return on ad spend.
The company indicates that further developments and additional features associated with nexAI will be announced over the course of the year.

Is It Too Late To Consider Buying Dillard's, Inc. (NYSE:DDS)?

Dillard's, Inc. (NYSE:DDS), is not the largest company out there, but it received a lot of attention from a substantial price increase on the NYSE over the last few months. While good news for shareholders, the company has traded much higher in the past year. As a well-established company, which tends to be well-covered by analysts, you could assume any recent changes in the company's outlook is already priced into the stock. But what if there is still an opportunity to buy? Today we will analyse the most recent data on Dillard's's outlook and valuation to see if the opportunity still exists. AI is about to change healthcare. These 20 stocks are working on everything from early diagnostics to drug discovery. The best part - they are all under $10bn in marketcap - there is still time to get in early. Good news, investors! Dillard's is still a bargain right now. Our valuation model shows that the intrinsic value for the stock is $502.95, but it is currently trading at US$400 on the share market, meaning that there is still an opportunity to buy now. However, given that Dillard's's share is fairly volatile (i.e. its price movements are magnified relative to the rest of the market) this could mean the price can sink lower, giving us another chance to buy in the future. This is based on its high beta, which is a good indicator for share price volatility. View our latest analysis for Dillard's Future outlook is an important aspect when you're looking at buying a stock, especially if you are an investor looking for growth in your portfolio. Although value investors would argue that it's the intrinsic value relative to the price that matter the most, a more compelling investment thesis would be high growth potential at a cheap price. However, with an extremely negative double-digit change in profit expected over the next couple of years, near-term growth is certainly not a driver of a buy decision. It seems like high uncertainty is on the cards for Dillard's, at least in the near future. Are you a shareholder? Although DDS is currently undervalued, the negative outlook does bring on some uncertainty, which equates to higher risk. Consider whether you want to increase your portfolio exposure to DDS, or whether diversifying into another stock may be a better move for your total risk and return. Are you a potential investor? If you've been keeping tabs on DDS for some time, but hesitant on making the leap, we recommend you research further into the stock. Given its current undervaluation, now is a great time to make a decision. But keep in mind the risks that come with negative growth prospects in the future. With this in mind, we wouldn't consider investing in a stock unless we had a thorough understanding of the risks. While conducting our analysis, we found that Dillard's has 1 warning sign and it would be unwise to ignore this. Guatemala seeks 700 megawatts of gas for power in tender

LONDON, June 16 (Reuters) - Guatemala has launched a tender to contract 1500 megawatts (MW) of new electricity generation capacity to meet growing demand, with around 700 MW to be awarded to projects based on liquefied natural gas (LNG). "Guatemala expects to contract at least 700 MW of firm power, in one or two facilities located in the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean or in the Pacific, which will receive LNG ships. This will satisfy the dynamic electricity demand of our country," said Victor Hugo Ventura, Guatemala's minister of energy and mines. Speaking to Reuters during an interview on the sidelines of an industry conference in London, the minister said natural gas would be one of the drivers of economies of Central American countries. "We are sure that we can get very bigger efficiency in the process with natural gas. We consider the natural gas as a very important part of the transition to the low emissions economy." The tender is closing in November and is open for companies worldwide. Guatemala is among the 10 to 20 countries most affected by climate change. It is home to a region known as the Central American Dry Corridor, where, over the past decade, droughts have been more prolonged and severe and extreme weather events, such as hurricanes, have caused widespread damage. Several hurricanes have caused widespread damage to infrastructure, including power plants, transmission lines and distribution networks. Guatemala has implemented an energy transition strategy that has allowed it to produce between 55% and 70% of its energy from renewable sources. There is a significant impact in the case of dry years with insufficient rainfall. For this reason, this tender seeks the contracting of firm energy, to produce 365 days a year and with lower emissions, and "this can only be achieved with fuels such as natural gas," the minister said.
