Browns QB Kenny 'Two Gloves' Pickett couldn't wait until the 2025 regular season commenced to return to Pittsburgh — as he was in attendance for Pitt's annual Blue-Gold Spring Game at Acrisure Stadium, serving as the contest's honorary captain.
Pickett's infamous exit in 2024 left a sour taste in the mouths of the Black and Gold faithful, but that hasn't stopped him from reconnecting with some of his former Steelers teammates — as he told TribLive that a dinner with Alex Highsmith, Christian Kuntz, and Pat Freiermuth was in his Sunday plans.
Another big takeaway from his attendance at the event is his reported eagerness to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025, per TribLive's Jerry DiPaola:
'Pickett said he's looking forward to 'everything' about the 2025 season, including the Browns game at Acrisure Stadium against his former team.'
Pickett spent just two years with the Steelers before he was traded to the Eagles — and then traded once more from Philadelphia to Cleveland in hopes of revitalizing his career as a starting QB.

Adam Frazier had three hits and scored the winning run on Nick Gonzales's sacrifice fly in the ninth inning, helping the Pittsburgh Pirates rally for a 5-4 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night.
