Sajal dwells belatedly on birthday wishes
Sajal Ali thanked fans and followers in a recent Instagram post, following her birthday on January 17. "A bit late, but a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the lovely birthday wishes! Feeling so blessed for all the love and everything this year has brought my way," she wrote.
In the attached carousel, she shared a glimpse of her birthday celebrations, highlighting a photo of herself holding a bouquet of flowers and sporting red-lipped charm. Other captures showcased an inflated "Happy Birthday" banner and a cake topped with candles shaped like a heart and two stars.
While Sajal's birthday may be long over by now, the love of her fans is a long way from diminishing. The comments section saw an outpouring of hearts, as well as a stream of belated wishes.
"Hope you had a great birthday, love," a user wrote. "You deserve all the love," remarked another. "May this smile never fade," a fan sweetly prayed.
On her special day, the Kuch Ankahi actor's siblings rushed to show her some love on Instagram Stories. Brother Aly Syed teased her with a childhood picture and a fond note that read, "Who would've thought that this little annoying girl would turn out to be a legend? Happy birthday, sis. Love you heaps! You're still annoying, though."
While Aly fulfilled his duties in true brotherly fashion, actor-sister Saboor Ali's wish took a more sentimental turn. Although Saboor's post wasn't pinned with a heartfelt note, she did share an artwork of the two sisters in a loving embrace, one adorned in bridalwear. A "Happy Birthday" sticker was stamped on top of the Story, a small emoji of a cake at its base.
On work front, Sajal is all set to star in an unnamed television project opposite Hamza Sohail. Previously, the two won hearts with their brimming chemistry onscreen with Zard Patton Ka Bunn.

Blake Lively steps out after speaking against lawsuit dismissal, vow to advocate for all women
Blake Lively made a poised public appearance at Chanel's annual Tribeca Film Festival Dinner in New York City just hours after a federal judge dismissed Justin Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit against her and husband Ryan Reynolds. Photo: GC Images Lively wore a white crochet dress and smiled for photos before entering the venue, marking her first public outing since the ruling. 'Last week, I stood proudly alongside 19 organisations united in defending women's rights to speak up for their safety,' she wrote on Instagram. 'Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us.' Though victorious in court, Lively highlighted the struggle many face without resources. 'While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back,' she said. 'I'm more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves.' Lively ended her message with: 'I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you.' Photo: Instagram She urged followers to support advocacy organisations including the National Network to End Domestic Violence and the National Organization for Women. The case began in 2024 after Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment during production of It Ends With Us. Baldoni denied the claims and filed a countersuit, which Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed on 9 June. Some legal claims may be amended by June 23.
