Charlie Woods hints at tense relationship with dad Tiger in Father's Day message
In a heartful message written for Father's Day, amateur golfer Charlie Woods hinted that there may be some tension with his dad, Tiger Woods.
Charlie, 16, wrote a letter to Tiger in a video posted to the account of the American Junior Golf Association.
The son of Tiger and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, Charlie and his sister Sam live in Palm Beach, Florida with their dad and attend The Benjamin School - where Charlie is on the golf team.
As images from Charlie's recent AJGA win at the Team TaylorMade Invitational played, he narrated the message he wrote to his father.
'Thank you, Dad, for believing in me in times when I didn't even believe in myself, and for all the times when you have supported me no matter what I do,' Charlie wrote.
'Even though we argue a lot, I still cherish every moment and I would just like to say thank you for everything you have done for me.'

Charlie didn't say exactly why he and his famous father argue - whether it's typical teenage-related angst or if it could have something to do with golf.
Regardless, it's a kind gesture from the up-and-coming golfer who saw his AJGA ranking jump from No. 606 to No. 14 after his TaylorMade win.
It's been an eventful year for the Woods family after Tiger went public with his relationship with Vanessa Trump and Tiger's mother, Kultida, passed away in February.
Tiger himself has been absent from the course after suffering an injury to his Achilles as he prepared for the Masters back in April. However, he was recently seen without a brace on his knee riding a golf cart while watching Charlie.
With The Open Championship coming up next month, it's unclear if Tiger will have rehabbed his injury in time.

Chelsea kicked off their Club World Cup campaign to all the glitz and glamour you would expect of an tournament in America... but very few fans were there to see it. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia seemed determined to ramp up the occasion as the Blues took on Los Angeles on Monday. Each Chelsea player was given a lengthy introduction, the sound of bells blared over the speakers. An enthusiastic announcer then gave a ten-second countdown to kick-off, apparently undeterred by the fact there were huge sections of empty seats in the 71,000 capacity stadium. Tickets for general admission were on sale for £38 and early estimates had the attendance at around 26,000 with the entire top tier of the stadium closed. FIFA have been concerned about attendances for the tournament and had reduced tickets after poor take-up. However, before Chelsea's game, attendances had been healthy. Inter Miami's opening match of the tournament, with Lionel Messi the star attraction, drew 60,927 for their game with Al Ahly. More than 80,000 were in the Rose Bowl on Sunday to watch Paris-Saint Germain's 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid. But the game in Atlanta evidently failed to have the same attraction. That is despite the fact Atlanta is one of the States' footballing hotbeds. This city is home to both the MLS's best supported football team, Atlanta United, which averages 44,037 fans per match, along with the new home to the US Soccer various teams, including Mauricio Pochettino's men's team and Emma Hayes's women's team. Chelsea almost sold out this stadium two years ago with over 70,000 fans watching them face Newcastle in a friendly tournament named the Premier League Summer Series. One explanation for the low attendance may be the kick-off time of 3pm on a workday - a timing which seems to have European TV audiences more in mind than locals.. Fans were left cringing on social media at the lack of support for Enzo Maresca's side. ESPN's Lisa Salters returns to NBA Finals after tending to mother's health crisis with her WNBA coach partner
NBA sideline reporter Lisa Salters is expected back for Game 5 of the ongoing NBA Finals in Oklahoma City on Monday night after she and her partner, Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White, took time off due to an illness in their family. That explanation now appears to be related to the health of Salters' mother – something Whitlock's followers suspected before Breen's announcement. 'It's probably family related and if I were to guess involves a parent,' one person wrote on X in response to Whitlock. 'I'm positive they have very good reason.' White and Salters have been romantically involved since at least 2016, according to multiple reports.
