Torino swoop for Aboukhlal and ask after Elmas too
The Granata sent director of sport Davide Vagnati out to Germany today to attend the pre-season friendly match between Toulouse and RB Leipzig in Villingen-Schwenningen.
According to multiple sources including Alfredo Pedullà and Sky Sport Italia, this was to hold negotiations with both clubs.

The primary target for discussion was Aboukhlal, who notably was not even named on the bench for Toulouse this afternoon.
The 25-year-old is a Morocco international, but he was born and raised in the Netherlands, so is available on an EU passport.
He made the move from AZ Alkmaar to Toulouse in 2022 for €2m and is into the final months of his contract, making him an affordable prospect.
The offer on the table is reported to be worth €8m plus add-ons.
He scored seven goals and provided four assists in 26 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
Meanwhile, Sportitalia report that Torino are also approaching RB Leipzig for Elmas, who spent the last six months on loan with the Granata and would be eager for a return to Serie A.

Youngster Mitchell heads out on loan to National League South
Weston-super-Mare have signed Swindon Town midfielder Dylan Mitchell on a loan deal to help him gain further senior experience. Having impressed for Swindon across pre-season, playing against Swindon Supermarine, Melksham Town, Reading, and Chippenham Town, Mitchell has been given the chance to continue his development in the National League South. Arriving at the Nigel Eady County Ground last summer after his release from Aston Villa, Mitchell had some early substitute appearances, but ultimately spent the bulk of the season with Paul Caddis at Hereford. Mitchell was one of the two players Ian Holloway said were surprising him the most this summer. He said: 'Dylan has been exceptional, he has had a brilliant week, he played really well against the trialists, and he has really done well, so I patted him on the back the other day, and he understood his role really well today [against Melksham].' Whilst he did have a good summer, with Town targeting promotion, Mitchell was unlikely to play regularly and has been sent to National League South to keep improving. Manager Scott Bartlett said: 'Dylan is a good midfield player who has done well for Swindon during pre-season. 'We have been light in one or two areas, and he adds some good competition as we start the season.'

Real Madrid Announces New First Team Transfer
Spanish soccer giant Real Madrid announced a first team transfer through its official website and social media account on X at the turn of a new month. 'Real Madrid C. F. and Como 1907 have reached an agreement for the transfer of our player Jacobo Ramon,' a statement on the matter began. Madrid explained how Jacobo arrived at the club at the age of eight when he joined its La Fabrica academy. Since then, he became a regular fixture in youth teams before being promoted to the Castilla reserve outfit last season. A part of the U18 team that won the treble in 2022/2023, he made his debut with Carlo Ancelotti's first team in 2025, though unfortunately no major silverware was forthcoming in that campaign with the Italian now replaced by Xabi Alonso. For Spain's U19's, though, Ramon won the Euros in 2024, and he was thanked by Madrid for his 'commitment and dedication during the time he has belonged to Real Madrid', which wished 'him and his family all the best in this new stage of his life'. Madrid didn't give any details of the transfer in its correspondence. According to MARCA, though, Como has agreed to pay €2.5 million for 50% of his rights, with Madrid reserving the right to buy him back at the end of the next upcoming three seasons. We've been here before with Nico Paz, who Como, managed by FC Barcelona and Arsenal legend Cesc Fabregas, snapped up and took from the Spanish capital in similar circumstances last summer. As part of a $6.7 million (€6 million) agreement, Madrid also retained 50% of his rights of the Argentine midfield playmaker according to MARCA, and there have already been rumors that Los Blancos will bring him back to the Bernabeu. Doing this, and being a La Fabrica product that is sold elsewhere but then returns to Madrid after kicking on, is known as completing the 'Carvajal route', after legendary right back Dani Carvajal did it more than a decade ago via Bayer Leverkusen. It now remains to be seen who if either of them, follows his footsteps between Paz and Ramon. It was going to be difficult for Ramon to get minutes at Real Madrid With the likes of Dean Huijsen, Eder Militao, Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba in his way, it was always going to be hard for Ramon to get minutes at Real Madrid making a transfer a wise move for his development.
