International Oppo Reno14 Pro shows up on Geekbench
Oppo launched the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro in China in mid-May, and the devices are soon headed for a global launch - this has been indirectly revealed by the company itself last month when it advertised their integration with Google's Gemini AI. Now, the global Reno14 Pro has been spotted in the Geekbench database, with the model number CPH2739. This model number confirms the fact that it's not the Chinese variant - in Oppo's naming scheme, the international devices always start with "CPH" while the Chinese ones don't. Oppo Reno 14 Pro CPH2739 Global/Indian variant runs on geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 8450 Chipset. Specifications 🔳 MediaTek Dimensity 8450 1 Core @ 3.25 GHz Cortex A725 3 Cores @ 3.00 GHz Cortex A725 4 Cores @ 2.10 GHz Cortex A725 🎮 Mali-G720 MC7 GPU 🍭 Android 15 - 12GB… — Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) June 3, 2025 The Reno14 Pro that ran Geekbench is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8450 SoC, just like its Chinese counterpart, which is good to see because sometimes Chinese companies like Oppo downgrade the chipset for their global models. Not in this case, however. The phone has 12GB of RAM, but of course more options could be offered here. It runs Android 15, which is most likely the version of the OS it will launch with, even though its timing could be better - Google plans to release Android 16 this month and the international Renos are now said to be coming in July. Hopefully Oppo can be quick about updating them to Android 16 once they're out. If the global Reno14 Pro turns out to be identical to its Chinese relative, then it will come with a 6.83-inch 1272x2800 AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with 116-degree field-of-view), a 50 MP selfie camera, and a 6,200 mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Honor now rumored to give the Magic8 Pro an extra rear camera
Honor is currently working on the Magic8 series, its next non-folding flagships, due to be released later this year (the Magic7 and Magic7 Pro came out last November, for what it's worth). Now, according to a new rumor out of China, the Magic8 Pro is being tested with four rear cameras, of which two would be telephoto shooters of course. Honor Magic7 Pro We've seen such an arrangement before, Samsung likes it, Xiaomi's 15 Ultra has it too, as does Oppo's Find X8 Ultra. But it would be new for Honor, and that's why this is a significant development. Unfortunately, this rumor doesn't give us any other details regarding the exact cameras that will be used. A past rumor did talk about the Magic8 Pro employing a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto - so those may still be three of the four, with a mystery second telephoto added in for good measure. We'll let you know when we find out more. Honor Magic7 Pro Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Xiaomi 15 Ultra Source (in Chinese) | Via
