Cherry Blossom Food + Anime Festival Returns to Katy, TX This Memorial Day Weekend at No Label Brewing
Celebrate anime, Asian street food, cosplay, and live entertainment at No Label Brewing's two-day, family-friendly Cherry Blossom Festival in Katy, TX.
KATY, TX, UNITED STATES, May 22, 2025 / EINPresswire.com / -- No Label Brewing Co. is excited to bring back one of Texas's most vibrant cultural festivals: the Cherry Blossom Food + Anime Festival, presented in partnership with Otaku. This two-day, family-friendly celebration of anime, Asian cuisine, cosplay, and live entertainment takes over the No Label taproom (5351 1st Street, Katy, TX) on Saturday, May 24 from 12 PM to 8 PM and Sunday, May 25 from 12 PM to 8 PM. Admission is free and open to all ages.
Now in its second year at No Label, the Cherry Blossom Festival transforms the brewery into a pop-culture playground with over 100 vendors, voice actor appearances, cosplay contests, sumo wrestling, Asian street food, K-pop dance battles, live karaoke, and plenty of cold craft beer.
'Only in Katy can you find sumo wrestling, karaoke, bao buns, and boba all colliding at a craft brewery — and somehow it feels right,' said Tom Paynter, Marketing Director at No Label Brewing.
'This festival is loud, proud, and absolutely chaotic in the best way possible. It's a love letter to culture, flavor, and community — and we're just here making sure the beer stays cold and the vibes stay right.'

Olympic champion Lilly King will swim final US meet at IU Natatorium in Indianapolis
Six-time Olympic swimming medalist Lilly King announced on Instagram that she will retire after this season. King, an Evansville native who won NCAA titles while at Indiana University, said in her announcement that she "accomplished everything I have ever wanted in this sport. I feel fulfilled." "I have been racing in the IU Natatorium since I was 10 years old," King said. "From state meets, to NCAAs, Nationals, and anything in between, this pool has been my home. I didn't quite make it 20 years (only 18) of racing in Indy, but this is as close as I'm going to get! I look forward to racing in front of a home crowd one last time." King won three gold medals at the 2016 and 2024 Olympics. She also has two silver medals and a bronze medal from the 2020 games. At the 2024 Olympics in Paris, King helped the women's 4x100-meter medley relay set a world record of 3:49.63 in the final event. In June 2024, King announced that the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swim Trials would be her final time competing in such an event. According to a report from the Indianapolis Business Journal, the 2028 U.S. Swim Trials will return to Lucas Oil Stadium, but King will not compete at the event. APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The City of Appleton is set to continue its longstanding tradition on June 14, the 74th Appleton Flag Day Parade! The celebration, which attracts more than 50,000 spectators and participants from throughout the country to Appleton, has honored 'Old Glory' on the second Saturday of every June since 1950. 'There's an unparalleled amount of pride and patriotism in the Fox Cities,' said Corey Otis, Chairperson for the City of Appleton Parades Committee. 'The Flag Day Parade provides a showcase for our community's ingenuity and artistry as well as a reason to come together and celebrate with friends and family.' More than 600 Wisconsin Guard soldiers ready for deployment with sendoff in Oshkosh The theme of the 74th Appleton Flag Day Parade is 'Honor, Courage, Commitment': these are the core values of the United States Marine Corps and Navy. Every year, the Flag Day Parade honors a branch of the military, but this year, Appleton will spotlight both the United States Marine Corps and Navy, who each celebrates 250 years of service in 2025. The Parade Grand Marshal, as always, is the United States Flag. The escort to the U.S. Flag is United States Marine Veteran Bob Lace of Neenah.
