Steelers rookie first-rounder Derrick Harmon wants all the smoke this season!
Cam Heyward and co-host Hayden Walsh recently had Harmon on their podcast, Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, in a special sit-down interview that appeared to be set in the Steelers locker room.
Walsh asked Harmon which team or player he was looking forward to facing in 2025 — and the Steelers rookie once again warmed the hearts of the Black and Gold faithful with his answer:
"Derrick Henry."
Pittsburgh could not contain the Ravens superstar RB in the final two matchups of the 2025 regular and postseason — as Henry ran for 348 yards and two TDs in Week 16 and the wild-card playoff matchup.
Harmon was a part of the Steelers' clear 2025 NFL Draft strategy to bolster the run defense that fell apart at the end of 2024 — and the true measuring stick for whether it worked will undoubtedly be against Baltimore. He'll get his chance to dethrone King Henry when the Steelers face the Ravens in Weeks 14 and 18 — and if anyone can do it, it's Harmon.

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers third-round rookie running back Kaleb Johnson fell down draft boards after running a 4.57-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. He's heard the noise and has a warning for those who want to continue doubting his speed. Johnson is a bigger back, standing at 6-foot-1, 224 pounds. But he has proven to be more than capable of breaking off big runs during his three years at Iowa. Last season, he reached 22 miles per hour per GPS measurements on field, which translates to a 40-yard dash in the 4.3s. Only a handful of NFL players have hit 22 mph, including new Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf, and nobody is questioning his speed. Johnson has the production to back it up, too.
