Each film tells a different story, but one that particularly resonated with audiences was the story of Caleb, a shark attack survivor.
Taking viewers on a deeply personal journey, the story follows a young man who lost his leg in a traumatic incident and bravely confronts his fear by diving with sharks.
The film aims to shift public perceptions of sharks and highlight their vital role in marine ecosystems.
'Stories like these are truly inspiring and incredible to witness,' Musica said.
He spoke about the challenges involved in creating such productions.
'For the film, Raging to Nature, I had to hang from a cliff and shoot next to a rushing waterfall, which was quite daunting,' he shared.
He added that extreme weather conditions and timing are unpredictable factors that can significantly affect a shoot.
Musica is dedicated to telling people's stories and sharing their passions with the world. His eye for detail and gift for storytelling are what make his work truly stand out.
He and his wife, Karen, founded their own photography and video production company, Phonix Capture, in 2007.
They have enjoyed considerable success producing promotional content for clients such as Hoërskool Nelspruit and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Rather than create a conventional school video, Musica chose to tell the story from the perspective of a Grade One learner writing about finding the best school.
His video for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show celebrated South Africa's iconic proteas and their history.
Musica has plans for future projects in Canada, Lesotho and Tanzania and audiences can expect him to tell many more prize-winning stories.

Tzaneen's Manani Botes makes Mrs South Africa top 30
LIMPOPO – Manani Botes from Tzaneen has been named one of the top 30 finalists in the Mrs South Africa competition. The announcement was made last week at Hotel Sky in Sandton, Johannesburg. A popular Jacaranda FM radio presenter, Botes describes the achievement as 'amazing' and dedicates it to women who have given up on their dreams and those working to create change in their communities. Last year, Botes progressed to the top 100 in the competition. The journey to the top 30 began during the semi-finals week from July 2-4. Over three intense days, semi-finalists participated in leadership roundtables, mentorship sessions, interviews, and a live showcase at the Theatre of Marcellus. The following days, July 5-6, included workshops on media relations, business, and social responsibility, along with a professional photo and video shoot to build their personal brands. 'This programme has been a life-changing journey of growth, self-discovery, and sisterhood,' said Botes. 'It pushed me beyond my comfort zone and reminded me of the strength I carry as a woman, a mother, and a leader. I've learned to embrace my story, use my voice with purpose, and stand confidently in who I am.' Looking ahead, Botes will host the 'Paws with Purpose' charity event to raise funds for the South African Animal Cancer Association (SAACA), one of Mrs South Africa's official charities. 'Animals don't have a voice, but we do. Supporting this cause means standing up for the vulnerable and creating a kinder world, one paw at a time,' she said. 'As a mother and community leader, I believe teaching compassion starts with how we treat all living beings.' Originally from Giyani, Botes grew up in Modjadjiskloof and attended Modubatse Secondary School. She is married to Charlton Botes and has a son, Nathan. Her career shifted from luxury car sales to radio after winning a presenter search at Jacaranda FM. Since then, she has become a prominent voice, inspiring many with her story. The Tzaneen beauty will compete at Emperor's Palace in November, with preliminaries on November 13 and the crowning ceremony on November 14. All eyes on the crown: Mrs SA reveals 2025 top 30 finalists [Pics]
The search for the new queen continues. Mrs South Africa has officially announced the 2025 top 30 finalists following a competitive semi-final round held at Hotel Sky in Sandton. The semi-final showcase was hosted by media personality Ayanda Thabethe and featured a performance by singer-songwriter Lloyd Cele. The event, which began on 2 July, included empowerment workshops, a swimwear presentation, and in-depth judging sessions. The finalists were announced after three days of closed interviews, workshops, rehearsals, and a dazzling live showcase. Judges assessed the contestants on leadership potential, community involvement, and communication skills. The semi-finals concluded last Friday with a glamorous stage event, where the contestants stepped into the spotlight one last time before the final cut. Mrs South Africa CEO Joani Jacobs described this year's group as 'simply astonishing'. 'Every entrant arrives with a story worth telling. Our job is to amplify those stories and share their messages of courage, hope, and purpose, while equipping them to become leaders in their own spheres,' she said. She added that each of the semi-finalists has the ability to impact their communities and help change the world. 'We've seen them go from women already beaming with confidence but unsure how best to direct their strengths, into powerful leaders who can command a room and bring about change through sheer force of will. We look forward to seeing what else the journey of life holds for them.' Flight alert: What SA travellers need to know about going to the Middle East
Flight alert: What SA travellers need to know about going to the Middle East Pretoria travellers heading to the Middle East are advised to stay alert, as several countries in the region have temporarily closed their airspace in response to ongoing tensions. While Qatar reopened its airspace as of June 23, 2025, others—including the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Iran—remain restricted. Travellers are urged to check flight statuses regularly and confirm all details with airlines or tour operators to avoid delays and unexpected reroutes. The region has been on edge following the weekend strikes from the US and since Israel began the conflict with a surprise bombardment on Iran, which responded with its own missile and drone strikes earlier this month. According to a report by EuroNews, Air tracking data from FlightAware showed 243 cancellations worldwide as of Tuesday morning. Dubai International Airport topped the list with 26 cancellations in and out of the airport as of 0600 GMT. And Air India had the highest amount of cancellations among carriers, totalling 25 at about 0600 GMT. Meanwhile, Middle East carriers were severely affected by cancellations and delays. Qatar Airways said its flights were suspended because of the closure of air traffic in Qatar. Also read: Is there an outbreak of Staphylococcus in Pretoria?
