He sought a report from the officials on the status of the works pertaining to renovation of temples taken up for construction under the aegis of the Endowments Department and Samarasata Foundation.
He also instructed the officials concerned to periodically inspect the temples after their renovation or construction, their maintenance.
Mr. Rao wanted a dedicated machinery to keep track of the smaller and dilapidated temples in the backward areas, which required special attention in the form of funds for basic and mandatory requirements like Dhoopa, Deepa, Naivedyam.
TTD's Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, Joint Executive Officer V. Veerabrahmam, Chief Engineer T.V. Satyanarayana, and Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer O. Balaji took part.
