JOHANNESBURG (AP) — Australia prop James Slipper and winger Dylan Pietsch were ruled out of the second Rugby Championship test against South Africa in a double blow to the Wallabies' hopes on Sunday. Slipper reported concussion symptoms after the shock 38-22 win over the Springboks on Saturday in Johannesburg and failed a head injury check. Pietsch broke his jaw in a first-half tackle, not long after scoring Australia's first try. They returned home alongside flyhalf Ben Donaldson, whose adductor strain made him unavailable for the first test. Utility back Hamish Stewart has joined the Wallabies in Johannesburg, and winger Filipo Daugunu and prop Rhys van Nek will catch up with the squad in Cape Town, site of the second test on Saturday. No. 8 and captain Harry Wilson was forced from the field after a knee injury but Rugby Australia said he was walking more comfortably and staying in the republic. The injury to Slipper, the Wallabies' most capped player, means Aidan Ross could make his test debut for Australia three years after his sole test for New Zealand. Tom Robertson was another loosehead option. First, they made a bid worth €40 million all-in. Then, after Atalanta rejected that, they increased it to €45 million including add-ons. Atalanta then rejected Inter's second bid for Lookman. And in the meantime, the former RB Leipzig forward has done everything he possibly can to force through a move to Inter. Lookman has publicly demanded a transfer. he has also no-showed training for well over a week. The ball eventually got to Marina Mabrey, and she was unable to connect in the lane. Indiana called a timeout with 1.4 to go, but could not get a shot off in overtime. Kelsey Mitchell got the first basket of overtime, which was the first lead for the Fever since 4-3. After Connecticut tied the game, Mitchell struck again, with back-to-back three pointers, and another bucket to finish with a season high 38 points. Mabrey led Connecticut in scoring with 27 points, while Charles scored 21. Now, all eyes remain on Indiana, and whether they can reach the postseason. At 19-16, the Fever have nine games to go. The remainder of August will see Indiana taking on Minnesota in home and away games, followed by games against the Storm, Sparks, and Valkyries. The first game against the Lynx comes on Friday. In September, Indiana starts at Phoenix, before coming home to host the Chicago Sky. In the final two games, the Fever first play at the Washington Mystics, and then have another game at home against the Minnesota Lynx.
