A MOTHER-OF-FOUR has come under fire after sharing a snap of what she fed her brood on a day when she 'couldn't be bothered'.
Mum and TiKToker Amy Mercado was brutally slammed earlier this week, after horrified parents wondered if the tea was ''a joke''.

For dinner, Amy decided to keep things simple, as she felt ''lazy'' and 'couldn't be bothered to fight' with the kids - none of whom are ''massive fans of veg''.
The easy and quick dinner consisted of the same two items for Amy's children - a three-year-old, a seven-year-old, a baby, 14 months, as well as a nine-year-old.
The youngest of the brood was served two chicken nuggets, as well as nine chips, while the seven-year-old had one nugget more on the plate and a handful of crispy chips - a similar portion to what the tot, three, had.
The nine-year-old, meanwhile, enjoyed a hearty pile of chips and half-a-dozen of chicken nuggets.
One everyone had finished their tea, Amy revealed in the clip, it was time for pudding - chocolate chip mini muffins for the older kids and some infant cereal with milk for the 14-month-old.
The mum claimed that she does add sweetcorn and peas to their plates ''a few times a week'' - however, she simply couldn't be bothered ''to fight with them'' and listening to the ''moaning''.
Amy went on in the comments: ''Beans they won't eat it's too wet but I do vegs a few times a week but they always have unlimited access to fruit as they prefer it.''
As for the portions, which some reckoned were too small, Amy said her kids ''don't eat a lot'' and she wants to avoid wasting food.
'It's not real, right?'
Since being shared online, where Amy posts under the username @amymercado1998, the clip has racked up close to 44k views and more than 140 likes.
Horrified by the lack of veggies, over 90 people flooded to comments, where many slammed the ''lazy'' mum.
I'm an Irish mum & I feed my family of six for three days with €26 shop
''Where's the nutrients?!'' one was gobsmacked.
Someone else wondered: ''Surely this is one of those posts where they just want the comments, it's not real right???''
''Are you aware of what vegetables are?'' a third troll chimed in.

Options include sandwiches, a cooked breakfast and fish and chips.
All kids' meals come with a piece of fruit and a drink.
Luckily for the mum, there was also heaps of support, as one kind viewer hit back at the critics: ''Before even commenting about vegetables educate yourselves on SEN children first.
''They have sensory issues with food due to textures, smells, colour. my son only eats chips, cheese and snacks. don't you think we have tried many times with vegetables and fruit?
''My son will gag at the site of it.''
Another was just as stunned by the abuse the mum was getting online, writing: ''Since when did you lot become super nanny!
''She still has her children! They're fed and watered and have a loving home over their heads. Let her be.
''Half of you was raised on beans on toast and spam. Jesus.
''Why can't woman raise other woman instead of the constant putting downs and judgment comments. Look after what you produced and mind your own.''

Asda is selling the ‘perfect event dress' that shoppers say is ‘gorgeous' and it's scanning for just £3 at the till

A SAVVY shopper has left fashion fans stunned after bagging a 'gorgeous' event-ready dress at Asda for just £3. The bargain-hunter, @finchofautismlife took to TikTok to show off the stunning satin dress from George at Asda. 3 She dared viewers to guess how much she paid. Most assumed it was a higher-end buy, with its classy silhouette and flattering fit. But in a follow-up video, she revealed she'd actually paid just three quid after spotting it on a secret in-store clearance rail. She said: 'I've got an event in November and this dress is absolutely perfect and it only cost me £3. I couldn't believe it.' The shopper wasted no time snapping it up, calling it a 'must-have' for autumn and winter occasions. And fans are totally obsessed. 'You look stunning,' one viewer gushed. Another said: 'Wow, I love it, that dress is gorgeous!' A third fan couldn't believe it, they said: 'Asda? You're joking.' Although the dress was scanning for £3 in store, it is discounted to £15 online. It seems this is just the latest win for George at Asda, the supermarket's in-house fashion label that's quickly become a go-to for fashionistas on a budget. The label regularly delivers viral wardrobe hits that look way more expensive than they are. Last week, shoppers were sent into a frenzy over a sweet broderie anglaise white mini dress, reduced from £22 to just £15, with rave reviews calling it 'classy', 'lightweight' and the 'perfect fit'. Others have gone wild for a £20 floral dress hailed as 'perfect in every way' , ideal for summer weddings or garden parties, while a £12 leopard print denim shirt dress became a best-seller thanks to its comfy oversized fit and transitional style. But the £3 event dress might just take the crown for the best fashion bargain yet. So if you're in the market for an affordable outfit that'll turn heads without emptying your wallet, it might be worth swinging by your local Asda and checking the rails. The buzz comes after Asda launched its first-ever stand-alone George store in Leeds earlier this year, which could be rolled out nationwide if it proves a hit. The new store, which opened on Saturday, May 10, in the old Asda Living unit at Crown Point Retail Park, is a dream come true for George fans. It's packed with affordable fashion, stylish homeware, must-have toys, and adorable baby gear, plus a brand new café to keep you fuelled mid-shop. There are currently 30 Asda Living stores in the UK, but the supermarket giant is testing the waters with this new George-only concept. Bosses are expected to make a decision later this year on whether more will launch across the country. The George brand, first launched in 1989 by fashion guru George Davies, changed the game as the UK's first supermarket clothing label. By 2004, it had become the nation's biggest clothing retailer, and today it's still going strong, racking up 260 million visits a year to its site and stocking shelves in 560 stores. How to save at Asda Shop the budget range Savvy shopper Eilish Stout-Cairns recommends that shoppers grab items from Asda's Just Essentials range. She said: " Asda's budget range is easy to spot as it's bright yellow! Keep your eyes peeled for yellow and you'll find their Just Essentials range. "It's great value and I've found it has a much wider selection of budget items compared to other supermarkets. Sign up to Asda Rewards The savvy-saver also presses on the importance of signing up to Asda's reward scheme. She said: "Asda Rewards is free to join and if you shop at Asda you should absolutely sign up. "As an Asda Rewards member, you'll get exclusive discounts and offers, and you'll also be able to earn 10% cashback on Star Products. "This will go straight into your cashpot, and once you've earned at least £1, you can transfer the money in your cashpot into ASDA vouchers. We've previously rounded up the best supermarket loyalty schemes - including the ones that will save you the most money. Look out for booze deals Eilish always suggests that shoppers looking to buy booze look out for bargain deals. She said: "Asda often has an alcohol offer on: buy six bottles and save 25%. "The offer includes selected bottles with red, white and rose options, as well as prosecco. There are usually lots of popular bottles included, for example, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot and Freixenet Prosecco D.O.C. "Obviously, the more expensive the bottles you choose, the more you save." Join Facebook groups The savvy saver also recommends that fans of Asda join Facebook groups to keep in the know about the latest bargains in-store. Eilish said: "I recommend joining the Latest Deals Facebook Group to find out about the latest deals and new launches in store. "Every day, more than 250,000 deal hunters share their latest bargain finds and new releases. "For example, recently a member shared a picture of Asda's new Barbie range spotted in store. "Another member shared the bargain outdoor plants she picked up, including roses for 47p, blackcurrant bushes for 14p and topiary trees for 14p." 3

Woman left 'fuming' after walking to Yr Wyddfa summit and finding others took the train

A woman who trekked to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) was astonished to learn she could have taken a train instead. Hettie, known on TikTok as Hettie's Holidays, shared her amusing tale online, causing quite a stir among viewers with her humorous revelation. She couldn't believe that while she had hiked up, others enjoyed a relaxed train journey to the top. Her video quickly became a sensation, racking up over 100,000 likes and proving that a good blunder is always good for a laugh. In her viral clip, she said: "Do you know what's a p*** take when you get to the top of Snowdon? People who have got the train. Firstly, why the hell would you want to get the train to the top of Snowdon? "What is the point? Does that not defeat the whole object? Unless you need to get the train for any specific reason, if you've just done it to come to the top, nah.", reports Wales Online. The TikToker seemed frustrated by the lack of space for her to rest her weary feet. She added: "People are sat up here having a gourmet lunch dressed in Converse, dresses, blouses - sat having like a birthday family lunch, and people have hiked and walked. We're aching, we're freezing and people are just not even offering seats." While Hettie clarified she wasn't demanding they offer their seats, she questioned why one would choose to visit the area just for lunch. She pointed out there's only "one little restaurant" and diners end up surrounded by people who are "really cold". Sign up for the North Wales Live newsletter sent twice daily to your inbox She was left perplexed as people appeared to bring their "newborn babies" for baby showers at the location. She concluded her video with a simple statement alongside her friend: "Nah, that's not good with us." The video has since sparked a flurry of comments from thousands of viewers, who seem divided on the issue. While some sympathised with Hettie's perspective, others pointed out that climbing is entirely optional. One individual commented: "This reminds me of the time I scaled the Eiffel Tower, and everyone in the lift didn't let me sit down when I got to the top." Another echoed her sentiments, writing: "So with you. Remember when I climbed to the top of the Shard, and everyone got the lift, sat there drinking, enjoying the views. Abseiled back down ASAP." However, not everyone was supportive. A third person responded: "The thing about climbing Snowdon is that it's completely optional. Hope this helps." A fourth added: "You're making it sound like you've done a difficult climb. I've seen eight-year-olds go up Snowdon."

Balfe plays Caitlin Harney, the boxer's girlfriend who fears for him as he begins a brutal training regime with the uncompromising Boz (Turturro). Other cast members include The Wheel of Time's Claire Dunne, Here We Go star Ed Kear, Gary Beadle from A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Oliver Trevena from Paradise City, and Emmerdale actor Andonis Anthony. ‌ Many rushed to the comment section to praise the film, with Bloom's former partner Katy Perry posting: 'The best movie!' ‌ A second person wrote: 'Gahhh Caitríona!!! Balfe will also be appearing in the film Tenzing, which is in production. ‌ The eighth and final season of Outlander will be hitting screens in early 2026 after filming was completed in November 2024 and went into post-production. Both Balfe and Sam Heughan are now working on various new projects since completing work on Outlander. Although Outlander season eight is still a while off, prequel series Outlander: Blood of My Blood will be arriving this week to sate fans. ‌ The show follows the dual love stories of Jamie (Heughan) and Claire Fraser's parents. Much like the parent series, there will be time travel and romance among the Scottish Highlands for fans to enjoy.
