The film has also surpassed the the collections of Ek Villain (2014), which collected Rs 16 crore on its opening day, by becoming Mohit Suri's biggest opener ever. From 2225 screens in week one, Saiyaara is now running in packed 3650 screens and is set to have another record-breaking second week. The film earned Rs 190 crore at the box office in eight days, surpassing the records set by Bollywood A-listers' releases this year.
